Sadly, I think they were understaffed on a night when they were going to have a paint night. Who knows why. The poor waitress had to do the whole place by herself, including the bar. We were at the painting class and only got served soft drinks. Never got to order food. Someone finally came in, I think I guy named Paul. But again, no one came to check on us, or really anyone at the paint night. I know staffing is such a big issue right now, but nonetheless, we didn't get to eat. I still left a reasonable tip for our soft drinks, because I felt really bad for the waitress.

We came in this morning and although it was a bit busy, we've seen the restaurant busier before. Our meal was brought before we had silverware, and I had to request my omelet be warmed up because the prime rib steak was cold. Then my son complained of his biscuits being cold so we asked for that to be warmed up too. We got his plate back just to realize there was dough in the middle of the biscuits. There was no explanation to our bill and when I asked if we could take the biscuits off, I was told they could only do 50%. We didn't eat any of that meal because of the raw dough. There was poor responses from the waitress, the cooks were visually frustrated with each other because they had 2 complaints, and I paid for food that was not safe to eat. I tried to be extremely understanding through the whole thing and I was kind in my requests. I completely get being busy, under staffed, and just plain having a mistake made. But paying for uncooked biscuits my son couldn't eat and the response of "I'm not authorized to do anymore" I should have walked out without paying at all. Then I would have been treating them with the same lack of respect I felt. Instead I paid and wrote a note on the merchant receipt in hopes someone would see it and maybe adjustments may be made for future customers. Unfortunately we used to frequent this restaurant often and now we won't be back. The young gentleman clearing the plates gave the best customer service. He was able to get me the box I had asked for so my son could bring his extra English muffin (so he still had something for breakfast) with us that we also had to pay for.

Beautiful remote-controlled model aircraft crowd the ceiling. Excellent food and drinks, with a great view of both KSLE runways and ATC.

Had the Philly Cheddar, my niece had the Cesar salad. My sandwich was a bit dry, but was served hot and had great flavor. My niece enjoyed her salad and we shared a piece of the Tuxedo cake for desert. Service was fast and friendly, and we were able to sit and catch up without being rushed. Great view of the runway.
