It's been years since I was at the Half Penny. A group of us went there on St Patrick's Day and really enjoyed our experience! It was *very* busy, so we waited patiently and eventually got a table. We ordered food, had drinks, and enjoyed the band and bagpipers. The owner is friendly, and spirited! She and the staff took care of that busy St Patrick's Day crowd including people who had to wait to get seated. We've been back twice since then, once for lunch, and once for breakfast!

Community relations is awesome - they sponsored a mini field trip to their establishment for the children at my sons schoolThe owner Wendy and her husband are amazing chef Dave is awesome - took great care of the little ones - showed them the kitchen prepared food for them - hosted amazingly wellThe little ones loved the food - I highly recommend this place on the friendliness , customer service and food

We went because we were stuck on that side of town. Had the prime rib. Good flavor. Tender. Sides were mediocre. Mac and cheese was decent. Had moz sticks, nothing special there. The atmosphere was loud. Service was attentive. If you live on that side of town it's worth a visit. But I wouldn't drive much farther than 10 or 15 minutes for it lol. I left satisfied, but would have enjoyed the Roadhouse better.
