The food kinda sucks. It's not horrible, but it's kinda bland. I think its white washed and not authentic. But the atmosphere and service is cool.

My wife and son and I were there for lunch today. Upon entering we saw the today's special, big green letters stating regular margaritas $6.95. Naturally we were happy, and did not misread the sign. We had 4 margaritas between us. When our statement came it said margaritas $14.95, over half more than the special price. Naturally we complained. Our server went out and looked at the sign, came back and totally lied to are face saying it read only guava margaritas, a total lie. Before we left they has gone out and totally rewrote the sign , different color and mentioned guava only. Our total charge was nearly $30.00 over what we should have paid.pissed off.

This place used to have great service, but it's definitely been going down hill. Had it a few weeks ago and service was slow, tried it again in the hopes it was a 1 off, but it was even worse. The food is great but service sucks.I asked for a booster seat for my toddler and it took until AFTER food came and 3 requests for it to actually get one, we asked for another salsa and never got one. Had to ask multiple times to get drink refills, then they brought a diet drink instead of a regular (aspartame is a migraine trigger so I avoid it). Thankfully made it home before the migraine hit from their mistake (yes even 1 drink was a problem). Our server honestly didn't seem to know what he was doing, or honestly which way is up.Hope they get better again.

Just fine. The order came out wrong, the service was very slow. Shouldn’t have surprised me as this is noted in many of the other reviews. It was pretty busy so people must like it. Mexican food is very salty but this place takes the cake for salty. The prices are high but understandable as the portions are disgustingly large. Unfortunate that most of the food walks out the door in styrofoam containers. It would be so much better if the food was less salty and the portions and prices were both smaller.

Been a couple times now, 1st time was great, food was top notch, service matched. 2nd time we tried mojito flight and margarita flight, we thought the glasses were too big for flights but interesting flavors. Food was good, service was okay. Our waiter was distracted by another table of people he knew. However, he did well for the most part. We will go back.
The food is good! But…. That’s only the case when the servers can get your order correct. We’ve come more than a couple of times and the food is really good, but our drinks never come timely, usually not made very good. And don’t bother ordering an appetizer because they’ll forget you ordered it. If the food wasn’t made so good then we probably wouldn’t come back.

Classy, relaxing MX restaurant with excellent Cadillac Margaritas, delicious food, awesome customer service, wonderful ambiance/ decor, spacious bar with nice mood lighting & fun Mexican music & MX video & comfortable bar stools & variety table seating. Main restaurant is separated from spacious bar area. Los Dos Amigos Hacienda has friendly, caring, fun staff. Shout out to Fav Juanita, Tanya, Claudia, Suzy, & Naomi.

Having never eaten here I decided to give this Salem location a shot. The atmosphere was great! Service was perfect. I was unfortunately not impressed with the food. With so many other Mexican restaurants in the area, the expectation was this place to be better.

We ate dinner here on a Sunday evening (after taking our kids to Chuck E Cheese right across the lot). Loved the water fountain in the lobby, and all the decor! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My family and in-laws enjoyed the food. My husband said they might make their own tortillas? I think he saw something. Chips and salsa also came with bean dip!My child had their pizza, and I taste-tested and omg... the dough taste home-made too, but who knows! I loved their chicken soup, but when I discovered the fish tacos were way too spicy for me (due to the Pico de Gallo I guess) they took care of me - great customer service, thank you! We'd love to come back for special occasions. Prices seemed pretty average to me, in this current economy.
