Old World Bakery Company is known for its great catering services in Salem, Oregon and the surrounding areas. Recently, maybe a year or so ago, they opened up a cafe / restaurant in the lobby of Salem Clinic on Capitol St in Salem. They serve a full line of coffee drinks comparable to any other coffee shop in Salem. I am not personally a big fan of coffee, so I cannot testify for the quality in which they serve. But for the other aspects of the restaurant, I am a big fan. Probably my favorite item on the menu is the banana and lemon bread. They serve fresh, and hand made, bread on a daily basis and it is very delicious. They also serve lunch and other food items as well. Sandwiches with hand made bread, pizza (which you can see in my picture above), as well as other great menu items. The staff is very friendly and they're eager to help anyone with ordering ideas. Overall, I dig this place. If you're in the area, you won't be disappointed if you stop in.
