I like Sonic! The burgers are good, the fries are fine and I guess they have a lot of drink options, but I usually don't drink my calories. A good, loaded burger is what I like and the prices aren't bad. Service has always been timely for me. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, perhaps I just happen to order the things they're good at making and haven't been disappointed. I did hear today though, that BOTH Sonics in Salem, Oregon are CLOSED and won't be reopening! There's a rumor that Burgerville is going to take over the locations, but that is just speculation as the owners of Burgerville have indicated they would never open a location in Salem again. If it's true, I hope ALL The Sonic organization is not in trouble ... maybe just the Salem franchises?

Came in ordered a small fry mozzarella sticks and a cherry limeade slush. The mozzarella sticks have a different recipe now and are straight up disgusting, my fry wasn't fresh and the limeade slush was almost all syrup

I've always loved Sonic, and I've been going to this location for years now. Originally I was really pleased with them but as time has passed they've just gotten so much worse and now the wait is always so long just to have your order taken and then they almost always mess up the order.

Stopped for 2 sodas. Ordered large and were given medium. The medium is advertised as 20 ounces, but we got 16 ounce coffee cups.

This is the third time getting the cherry limeade signature drink with no limes or cherries in the drink. It just tastes of soda with melted ice and a hint of cherry flavor. Our drinks were mostly ice when we specifically asked for light ice. Took three sips and the drink was gone almost. This is a disgrace for sonics as they are the number one drink makers.

If the first thing you say to me is your short staffed, alright I'm a patient person. Then continue to tell me the things I want you do not have. Maybe I should of just left, because sitting in front of the pick up window for 20 minutes for the sub par food was not worth it. I think it's bizarre they don't have Sonic cups, Sonic wrappings for burger except one we ordered, and no Sonic cover for the corn dog. My girls were sad there was no applesauce or apple juice for the kids meal. My girls were sad they weren't getting the regular Sonic toys like the other Sonics, like the Sonic Mini Brands that they were collecting. Not sure how this place is still in operation if they don't have anything Sonic . Customer service is horrible. I don't recommend this Sonic to even my worse enemy.

I ordered a slushy and tater tot's the Slushy had way too much syrup and tater tots were cold and literally had six in the bag'! I went back through the drive-through and had them remake everything and still horrible. Ended up just throwing it all away. Wish I would have kept driving and gone to Dutch Brothers.

Pulled into Sonic to order some dinner. No cars in any of the stalls. Ordered and paid for food. Waited and watched a lot of cars come through the drive through and at least 6 cars pull into the stalls, order and get their food. Flagged down a hop and asked about my order (20 minutes already passed). He said that they would be right out. Waited and watched more orders go out. Pushed the button and told them that I've been waiting 50 minutes for my order. Finally food comes out and I get a "sorry for the inconvenience". Food tasted like it was sitting for awhile, toast like rubber, mozzarella sticks and tots were barely warm.

customer service is terrible, waited 25 minutes on 5 drinks. when I ordered large, I received medium. The drinks were all wrong and they blamed it on the heat wave messing up their headsets and walked off. I took off and took a sip of a drink I ordered and tasted horrible. 2 of the 5 were terrible. Water and 2 cherry limeades were fine. This is the second time in the last 2 months I've gone and it's been this way both times. Just terrible all around.

I will say that the cherry limeade is very good and has always been a plus of Sonic. But this location just does not seem to be able to get it right. I ordered a corn dog for my daughter who wanted barbecue sauce; they didn’t have barbecue sauce. In fact they didn’t have any sauce or condiment except ranch. Ok, fine. I’ll take ranch…. FOR 25 cents! And when it got here, the cup was hardly a quarter of the way full! Not enough for one corn dog. Thanks for making my daughters day. She really appreciates the service. /sOn top of all of that, it all just tasted like bad carnival food or too much old fryer oil. Not sure why I expected my experience to be different than others here.

Besides the 50 minute wait the service was horrible I ordered a double cheese burger and 2 chicken sandwiches and some tots. When they gave me the items there was no words said, the lady was rude there facial expressions of hate and misery for there job beyond this existence like a lifeless cadaver. when I got home and grabbed the bag everything fell out because of juices gushing out the burgers I picked them up go inside I open the cheese burger only to find a flat deformed loveless burger when I cut the meat it was pink everywhere and it had little white worms around it the chicken sandwiches were created with no type nurturing energy at all flat two pieces of condensed matter dipped in ancient year 1 B.C oil that tasted more like Nile river fish then chicken this place is the most pathetic place on earth there is no love when they make the food it's more of a Mortuary where they just put make up on a body in this case a bun and feed you a corpse of death I give them a negative 10 stars eternally should be shut down permanently check your food for worms because others have said the same I shall be contacting the health department for all of this any of you that have experienced this don't be afraid to speak your truth.

Wish I could give this place zero stars! My fiancée and I were traveling through and stopped off quickly to grab food. Immediately upon ordering we were told they had “limited options.” After asking if they had certain things we finally settled on corn dogs and mozzarella sticks. We waited in line way longer than we should have given the small amount of food we got. All of the food we received came in unlabeled packages. Once we drive away we realized that the cherry limeade didn’t taste like a sonic cherry limeade. The mozzarella sticks are NOT standard sonic mozzarella sticks. They were overly breaded in a different fried coating and tasted like old fair food. The corn dogs batter on the inside was soft and didn’t feel cooked. No sauce was offered and no napkins were given. We have a sonic close to where we live and it is the best! This….. this was something completely different. If I would have read the reviews on google beforehand I would have taken my business elsewhere. The business owner needs to do something about this. Stay away people, you’ve been warned!
