Beer is okay (I'm a beer nerd and home brewer). I've never been impressed. The food is meh- passable for bar food, but never craveable. My chicken strips were a little under done last time. But, the regressive politics of the owners are what made me walk away forever. They had a sign for the candidate who they are supporting for mayor of Salem (the candidate who already raised 6-figures from developers for an unpaid position!) at the bar and I was deeply disappointed. A colleague told me this week they had a platform for the right-wing county candidates as well. My partner and I go for walks and bike rides to this area for the breweries, but this one is now crossed off the list. Ah well.

Service is non existent- order at the bar, help yourself and seat yourself. Wait in line with call in orders so that’s nice when you’re dining in.Have to ask multiple times for water and other basic needs.Oh and the food: Ordered an ahi tuna burger. Ahi tuna was not seared on sides, Nearly raw (not safe). asked for it to be redone, and cooked, they handed me the one shown in the pic, completely raw. Passive aggressive?Is this establishment inspected for food safety?

I guess maybe we have hit this place at a time when service sucks. We used to go here on a regular basis. Unfortunately the last few times we have been there the service was basically non-existent. After our last visit today - we are done. It's so sad because we truly believe in supporting local businesses and it used to be enjoyable

Great menu! It is so hard to find a place that makes a great grilled cheese. So simple yet so hard to find. They have a great menu full of cheesey vegetarian options. Also offering gluten free bread and crust for their pizzas. They brew great beer there with many styles to please everyone. Great staff that offers friendly fast service. All around a great spot!

Trivia night was my first time going to Sparky’s, and I’m so glad I did. I had a fantastic server who suggested the Marionberry Lemondrop, and she did not disappoint! It was one of the best lemon drops I’ve had, and I always appreciate when the server goes the extra mile to make personal suggestions that may not be on the menu. I will definitely be returning to Sparky’s again soon!

Food: Food was decent and the fresh chiccarones with hot queso were delicious. Beer was good and our waitstaff was professional and nice. Ambiance: That said at end of our meal I saw a black and grey Betsy Ross style flag with the name of the establishment displayed in a corner. I didn't notice it going in. We will not be returning. The internet is rife with possible meanings. Look it up.

Fourth or fifth time I've ordered from Spakys. Great menu with enough choices for everyone. Their Garden salad is a really good salad. Microgreens and fresh veggies. Fries are both tender and crisp. But the BURGERS are DELICIOUS! This isn't run of the mill restaurant pre-made burger Patty's. It's good quality aged beef. You will taste the difference, I guarantee it. Blueprint Bleus burger is out of this world.The service is always friendly and I highly recommend Spakys for a great meal at a fair price.This isn't a quick, greasy spoon diner. The prices are a little higher than your typical fast food joint but it's worth the price. If I had to, I'd skip a few lunches to get a meal this good.Keep up the good work Sparkys!I'd post a picture but I can never wait long enough to take one.

I tried a flight of 4 of their beers with my favorite being their watermelon wheat. We liked the decor of electrical boxes, and there was plenty of seating. My wife had the margarita which was a very small size for the $9 charge, but she enjoyed it. We did not care for the 3.5% surcharge that was added to our bill when we paid with a credit card.

Went with a friend who has some dieters restrictions. The staff was very accommodating and understanding! Had amazing pizza and she had a burger - delish!
