WONDERFUL!! The dining area is in the back so you're not bothered by customers coming in and out and picking up their Togo orders. Also their level of a 10 for spiciness is spot on. Usually it's never spicy enough and this was on fire with excellent flavor!! Very fresh and I just really was impressed!! I love Asian food!!

Absolutely amazing! Family of 5 including a 1 year dining for lunch. They have vegan and gluten free options. The food is flavorful and hot. The owner is SO incredibly nice and thoughtful. I didn't get to finish my tea and asked for a to go cup and was given a cup full of hot fresh tea to go out of pure kindness. 10/10 recommend this place to eat!

Great food and awesome service. I'm here either dining in or picking up my dinner at least 3 times a month.

The food is delicious but $4 FOR A CUP OF PEANUT SAUCE is absolutely ridiculous!!

The owners are so nice - plus they have my favorite pad see ew in town. They are a couple $ more than other places, but it’s absolutely worth it for the huge portion. I also love that they put more veggies & use foil to wrap it in the box. My food was still too hot to eat even after being delivered. Highly recommend!

The Amazing

Put wrong meal in my to-go bag. Drove home to a hangry wife. Drove back across town to correct their mistake. I asked for a discount to help compensate for their mistake. They offered 15% off. I told them it was nothing and it cost me more in gas to come get the correct food. The old man in the back spied over the counter while he had the poor new guy explain they could only give me $4. They obviously value a few bucks over a long time customer. That is a bad business move.

This is our first time trying this place. The person who took our order was pleasant and helped guide us to the right food. Our boys got the chicken fried rice and it was delicious. Big portions too. We could’ve easily split one between of our kids. I got the vegetable pad Thai and it was really good as well. We will most definitely be coming back here again.

Thai Silk Cuisine in Independence, Oregon is a winner. Located on the main street, look for their sign on the right and park on the street in front. They sell lots of take home food and the restaurant was not crowded when we were there. The menu has lots of interesting choices and there is polite and fast service. Not fancy but great Thai food.

The food is good actually, better than we thought. The environment is kinda funny, you have to walk in the back to be seated. People just come and order take outs.

They have 3 menus. One for gluten free, one for vegan, and a regular menu. It makes it incredibly easy to order! We had the pad kee mao, tom yum soup, spring rolls, and a Thai iced tea with coconut milk. It was all delicious!!

My favorite Thai place in South Salem. So delicious!! Amazing service as well. Very clean restaurant.

Grossly greasy. I had the fried spring rolls which were awful and greasy. The salads rolls were so poorly wrapped that they fell apart and I had to eat them with a fork. And lettuce is supposed to be green not yellow. The drunken noodles were not good but they were greasy. I took two bites and threw the rest in the compost bucket. Gross!

The food was fantastic as was the thai iced tea. Great and fast service, too! We had the spring rolls (to die for) as an appetizer- I had the Pad Se Ew as my entree (DELICIOUS) & my boyfriend had the Pra Ga Tiem Prik Thai (he had nothing left on his plate afterwards!) Personal and quiet ambiance. Very hard working and kind owner! I'm super excited to eat my leftovers tomorrow & we will definitely be coming back!

Chose this Thai place due to their recent food inspection scores that were excellent! (After looking up 3 others in south salem that all failed). We had various dishes and they were all very flavorful and yummy! Service was great as well.
