Does anyone even read reviews anymore. I don’t think so. But I digress. Wild pear does it again. We went for happy hour and dined outside. It was perchance, the happiest of hours. I had the shrimp lobster melt. My reason for living had the Jessica burger. My melt was very flavorful and the chips were crunchy and a nice pairing. The burger was unctuous and the melted bri really brought it home. For sides we had truffle fries and the bri cheese with French bread. Both apps were delicious but I would highly recommend the Bri as a side.

Excellent food in a cozy atmosphere. I had the Banh Mi, one sister had the BLTA & another had the turkey, lettuce, tomato & avocado. Great flavors! When the wind blows, it can be a little chilly inside. Terrific place!

Had a date night there last night. After going to a couple other restaurants that had to long of a wait we got to wild pear and was immediately seated which was so nice!.Had the corn dip appetizers and it was delicious! Nice and creamy and the chips where fresh and hot.My husband had a Jessica burger which he loved and I had the French dip, the Au Jus was so flavorful and salty in a good way! It definitely added so much more favor to the delicious sandwich! Not to much onion and peppers and filled with meat. .We ended up getting the bread pudding which was so good! The homemade carmel sauce was top tier!Definitely will be back, service was great as well our server was so nice and helpful when trying to decide which things where the best.

We arrived right before the lunch rush began, but we still received quick, friendly service. And the food was wonderful. We each ordered sandwiches and house-made chips. We will return whenever we visit Salem.

I really enjoyed a nice lunch: Wild Pear salad and Butternut Squash soup. It is a busy spot, but the service was great.

Nice dinner on our way home to Portland from Sunriver. The coconut curry soup and the Wild Pear salad were excellent; the pizza and mixed green salad were good.Christine, our server, was nice. I would have appreciated it if she had checked back with us after serving our food. 4 stars for Christine. On the other hand, when I made eye contact with Brook, a different server, instead of coming over to see what was needed, pointedly turned and walked away. Zero stars for Brook who obviously was not interested in helping out either a fellow server or a customer.Overall, recommended.

Really enjoyed all of our food! We had looked at a menu someone posted online about a year ago and the S.A.L.T. salad stood out to one in our group. It isn't on the menu anymore, but they had the ingredients and were able to put it together for him. The only food that wasn't an absolute hit was the seasonal baked brie (not pictured) which had enough ingredients that it became very liquidy rather than a typical melted brie texture. All the staff who checked on us were kind and attentive, prices seemed very fair, and we'd all gladly return for the great food and service! We had:- S.A.L.T. salad- Combination plate with Wild Pear salad, Chicken Hazelnut salad, and Coconut Curry soup- Wild Pear salad w/chicken- Pho DipAlso not pictured: Wild Pear cheesecake and Berry Cobbler ? A few desserts were sold out by the end of the night, so request yours when you arrive if you're later in the evening!

This was interesting. I've only ever had their catering. I got the lobster and shrimp melt. It was, ok. That being said, literally everything else I have had there is absolutely awesome.Cozy and intimate space. Parking is what parking is in downtown Salem. Overall, very good and I am looking forward to going back.
