If you get the opportunity you should definitely stop into this little gem. It's hidden back in a small industrial area, but once you find it you won't forget it. They have absolutely delicious Latin food and quite the selection of beers. I'm not a huge fan of the cocktails because they seem overly sweet for my personal taste, but that's not to say someone else won't enjoy them. My favorite dish on the menu here is definitely the chicken empanadas. If you're in West Salem and you haven't had their food, they are an absolute must!

Arrived for late lunch...no wait and good service. We 3 all ordered different items. I was told the nachos were good. The tacos were disappointing. And the Cuban sandwich was nothing like what I had been served in Florida...all that said...I have eaten here before and always was very satisfied with flavors and creative dishes. So I will go again. If you want routine rice/ runny beans sides..this is not your place.

Beer flights were fun but the tacos is where it's at!! Every option we tried was a home run from the tacos to the wings. I do recommend getting the side salad as opposed to the rice & beans though, the rice seemed to be a bit over spiced that night.
Some of the best and most unique latin food I've had. Probably the best tortilla you will eat anywhere in Oregon. People are very friendly and quick, and I really liked the music they were playing.
Xichas has THE BEST nachos I have ever eaten. I love the food at Xichas. The quality is excellent. The presentation is beautiful and everything is delicious!!! Especially their chips, which no other chips compare! Oh, and their margaritas, EXCELLENT!When my visitors come to Salem, they insist on eating at Xichas.
