My stay at the Hilton was incredibly disappointing. From the outset, I encountered issues that significantly marred my experience.Upon entering my room, I was dismayed to find a dirty washcloth carelessly left on the couch. This was just the beginning of a series of disappointments.Throughout the night, the noise from neighboring rooms was incessant. Loud conversations, jumping, running and laughter echoed through the walls, making it impossible to sleep. It felt as though there was a constant party right next door until about 2 am.The situation reached its peak on the second night when a large group of about fifty college students arrived. Their disruptive behavior, including shouting and running through the halls, made it impossible to find any semblance of peace. When I called the front desk to address the disturbance, I was met with an unapologetic and rude response from the staff member. Their lack of empathy only added to my frustration. The hotel's amenities failed to meet expectations. The pool closing at 9 pm left no opportunity to unwind after a long day, and discovering that the provided shampoo was empty was yet another letdown.Considering the substantial cost of nearly $900 for two nights in two rooms, I had expected a much more pleasant and relaxing stay. Despite reaching out to the manager to express my concerns, I received no response, leaving me feeling unheard and disregarded.Thankfully, our experience at the Paramount in downtown Portland on the final night of our trip was a complete contrast. The tranquil ambiance, attentive service, and comfortable accommodations provided the respite we desperately needed. If you're seeking a enjoyable stay, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Paramount over the Hilton. After all, when you're paying a premium, you rightfully expect a stay that meets your expectations and provides a sense of relaxation and comfort.

Very disappointing stay for an Embassy Suites hotel. The rooms are very outdated and ours was not that clean. When we arrived a little after 4pm, I asked for extra pillows and blankets to be sent up. They brought up pillows and towels but said the blankets were not ready yet and they would bring them when they were done. We left for awhile and when got back to our room at night, still no blankets. I called front desk, they said "We're all out for the night." The sofa bed was horrible and I woke up with a sore back. Plus it sounded like housekeeping carts were going up and down the halls all night. The shower was so loud and it filled up with water to my ankles. The list could go on and that's so unfortunate especially because it's a great location.

The Embassy Suites is conveniently located off Hwy 217, right next to the Washington Square mall. The hotel is clean, well lit and boasts a contemporary design-style. At the hotel, all room doors open to the main atrium, which is the main dining area for the courtesy breakfast and happy hour mixer. There is room service here if you want to stay in. If you're feeling adventurous, there are all kinds of local restaurants surrounding the hotel - a quick Google search will guide you. If nothing else, you're within walking distance to the Washington Mall food court or Target. This hotel has a front desk, pool, gym, and multiple conference rooms. There is on-site parking (for a fee). The rooms are clean, and the decor matches the contemporary style throughout the building. The bathroom is a decent size, space for 2 people at once - if need be. The shower water pressure left a lot to be desired, but overall serviceable. A nice touch was the complimentary soaps/shampoos stationed inside the shower. No need to fiddle with little bottles or caps. Another nice touch, was the complimentary water and assortment of snacks in the room. Snack on various chips, cookies, granola bars, and/or chocolates, then wash it all down with bottled still or carbonated water. There was also a mini fridge, microwave, and save in the room. The bed and linen was clean and comfortable. Lots of lighting throughout the suite. Lastly, we had a single large window in the room that looked out to Hwy217 and the strip mall, but, if you looked beyond that hustle and bustle, you had a gorgeous view of Bull Mountain, misty in the morning light or painted orange and pink during sunset.

!!!!PET OWNERS BEWARE!!!Spent two nights here with my 1yr old puppy. First thing I noticed in the bathroom was that the tub was not clean and the cups on the counter had lip marks on them. The sink had a leak too, was constantly running but hey, not my water bill right. The wifi didn’t work so if you’re there on business you’re better off going to a coffee shop to get anything done. My puppy also kept finding candy wrappers and things from past guests throughout the room. Now what this review is really for: my Dog got RINGWORM staying here. She slept in her crate at night but during the day she roamed about. Mind you she’s not well traveled, I don’t take her all over the place. This was her first trip staying in a hotel. During our time there she was either in the designated grass area or inside so I know she didn’t get it from anywhere else. Thank you Embassy Suites, she is now not only healing from being spayed but also fighting a ring worm infection.
