“I love this place usually all I do is go play video poker but I wasn't here got a meal and the lady at the desk is very sweet super inviting and also told me to have a good day as soon as I was leaving love it here the owner does a very good job running this place instead of the workers five “
“The food was amazing. Yes the price is a little higher than other places but the quality is the best. I have yet to find a sushi restaurant that serves it as good as here and it's not even close. “Come here for the happy hour and stay for all the foods on the menu. Smoked mussel dish was to die for, Oysters are naturally delicious but the sauces here are amazing especially that green fish sauce, I’d bottle that and sell that immediately! Server was amazing and wish I knew their name so I can shout them out. I didn’t order it but $90 for a tasting per person is just too inexpensive for that quality and amazingly tasty dishes. Just want another shout out for the mussel dish on there March 18th menu. Dish will always be in my mind.“
“My husband and I were visiting Portland for a basketball game and we decided to stop here the morning after. We arrived early right before the lunch rush. The food was amazing and the owners/ workers showed great hospitality. Food also came quick! Will definitely be back!“
“Went for cocktails, which were lovely and not crazy expensive. Food, including oysters and a small plate of cheese ended up costing over 70 per couple averaging three drinks for two. Great environment. Nice staff. Just seemed pretty pricey for food. But, who am I kidding? I never go out anymore!“

“This place is literally everything. The best sushi in town, for sure. But more than that, every time we walk in, Alex makes us feel warm and welcome. We have had an amazing experience every time we walk in that door. We've always loved Bamboo, but since Alex joined the team at this location, it's like walking into a warm hug. The staff is attentive, smiling, and helpful. The food is OUTSTANDING. As a chef from NYC, it's the best sushi I've ever had outside of the city (and probably even better!) Alex goes above and beyond to make her guests and her staff feel comfortable and happy. Only 5 stars because I can't give it 6. Eat here or you will regret it.“
