This may be a national chain, but it's the people working there who make it local. Around the time my daughter was approaching her first birthday, she would regularly wake up during the 5am hour. Since we were up anyway, we'd throw on some street clothes and head over to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. So for several months, we were regulars... almost weekly. The food is excellent! I have been to Cracker Barrel many times I have always loved the food, every time the service was excellent except this time. Timothy our server said they changed things on him but he didn't figure it out. We literally had to ask another employee every time we needed service from ordering to getting the bill. I highly recommend Cracker Barrel, hopefully it was just a bad day for Timothy.

Cracker Barrel is a good place to eat. If you like good homestyle cooking, the only thing I have experienced is sometimes the servers get a little overwhelmed, and it could take a while to get your food out of the kitchen.
