“I must say this is my very favorite spot to eat in all of Allentown. Family oriented business, their kids work the register and mother and father are in the back making the tastiest food in town. My favorite items are the Nasi Goreng, the basil fried rice, and the jumbo fried shrimp. Choose your own spice level and protein and you’re good to go. Don’t forget the samba (crushed green chile and something else) it’s really good. No pork served which is huge. Pork makes my stomach hurt. I’m fortunate to live a block away from this place.“
“Great friendly owners James and David. Very accommodating with food sensitivity and allergies. My nephew loves it!Dietary restrictions: Subway style just pick and choose your options. If you're not sure just ask a staff member. They are very kind and helpful.“
“I absolutely loved their shrimp lo mein! It's been a challenge to find a place that makes it just perfect. The flavor is on point and they don't overcook the noodles like other places. The shrimp tasted fresh. I also love their wonton soups and eggrolls.“
“1st the Lemon Chicken best I ever had and I've been to every major city and state, chicken cooked perfectly and the batter is crispy and hits with that deliciouslemon sauce, 5 stars, next the Hot and Sour soup was amazing, I was feeling under the weather and it made me feel good, can't wait to pass back through Allentown I will be stopping for sure.“
“Can't get much better food or portions, especially when you eat in.Their sauces for several dishes are very uniquely flavored (sweet and sour chicken, tso's chicken and sesame chicken are huge stand outs)Atmosphere wise it's kinda cute. Extremely mom and pop store feel, but hey, they've got a business to run and childcare expenses are insane so I get it. Their kids are there but are super well behaved in the restaurant.“
“Love the steak on a stick. I’ve been here twice now and it hits the spot. I’ve also had the beef and broccoli with garlic sauce with pork fried rice, delicious. The egg rolls are also some of the best I’ve had. The hot and sour soup was exactly what I was needing today and it didn’t disappoint in the least. The place is always very clean too.“
“I’ve tried ALOT of Chinese food spots in Allentown but haven’t found one I would loyally go to every time the craving happens. But I did today. I walked in and was helped by the most sweetest, beautiful women I have ever laid eyes on ( I’m a 20 something year old women). She helped me quickly and even gave me a free 2 liter ( I did spend about $50).The food was great! I’m ordering my Chinese food from here from now on. I wish I would’ve had cash so I could’ve gave her a tip but I didn’t… so this review would have to do. Thank you !“
“This is my favorite Chinese spot the closest to New York since I moved here.. their Shanghai Duck is to die for, the lo Mein is dark just the way it suppose to be and the Fry Rice with veggies or plain is delicious. I first came here in 2020 during the pandemic and have been a regular since. The owners and staff are very friendly and family oriented I love them?‼️“
“Personally they have the best boneless spare ribs and their rice is always so soft and fresh. Their pizza egg rolls are so good I get them everytime. Their ice tea is perfect as well. Literally the only place in Allentown I order Chinese food from.“
“Best Chinese food in Lehigh Valley, hands down. Every dish is authentic and very northern Chinese. Every dish is different because as real Chinese cuisine, every dish uses different sauce and different cooking technique and temperature. The chef here was not a farmer, or construction worker, who becomes a chef later because of survival necessities. The chef here must have been trained as a chef at a proper organization. We used to love this place and go over very frequently. The server Dino was very friendly; the owner/waitress Amy was always warm. Then we realized that they did not do anything about their inside decorations. The carpet is getting dirtier and dirtier. When covid hit, they only serve takeout; when Covid is getting better, they still only serve takeout. Real authentic gourmet Chinese food should not be takeouts. It ruins the flavor and texture. We haven’t been back but look forward to trying again.“
“the food was delicious. it was recommended to us from a friend. it was a bit of a drive, but worth it. it is the best tasting quick chinese food place we have found in the area.the recommendation was spot on and they did not disappoint. we will be ordering from there again.“
“My wife and I been looking for a good Chinese restaurant since moving to the area Most of the ones we tried were very bland. Dragon Place had what we were looking for. Both tasty and good price First time here an the food tasted great Only concern was my wife's spring roll was a bit soggy My egg roll and shrimp w/ lobster sauce was great and have enough for a meal later this week Definitely going back here for more meals“
“The food here is always hot and very flavorful. The portions are good and the prices are a little under than what other locals charge. Kitchen looks clean and everything taste fresh. There is not old dirty oil taste or smell like some chinese places. Parking is on street and can be a burden depending on time. I also believe they are takeout only now. Would recommend and if I lived in allentown they would prob be my go to chinese spot.“
“I rated this 4 star because they were nice to me, my wife, and my 4 year old son and the place was very clean and bright. The food wasn’t bad but I know it could be better. But I really liked the sesame chicken with fresh broccoli and the shrimp friend rice with plenty and jumbo size shrimps!“
“Got there at round 8 pm and due to the epidemic, they only accept takeout or order by phone. That day I ordered 3 dishes including shrimp fried rice, fried vegetables and wonton soup. This was my first time trying Chinese-flavored food and I feel quite satisfied. It might be a bit bland for someone who prefers a richer taste, but it feels good to me. I will return to this restaurant. Certain!“
“Ordered the general Tsos Tofu. Love that it was deep fried. The sauce was not the typical General Tso sauce that I am used to, there was no extra sauce at the bottom and it was more so absorbed into the tofu (kind of watery rather than cornstarch thickened). Overall not bad, and the price is great for the combos.“
“Found this place on my way home from Dorney park. Food was pretty good nothing special but service was excellent and the waiter is very nice and friendly. The overall atmosphere was very calming and peaceful not too busy. Would visit again.“
“Very clean, floor, tables, and counters are in very good condition. This buffet opened recently and I believe you should give it a try if you are in the mood for Chinese food or snow crab legs. Sodas and juice are included in the price, ice cream are individual cups, No messy station. For under $19/ adult including drinks is really worth a try.“
