I've been going to Mi Chong's for Chinese takeout since I was in college in the 90's. It's a consistent go to for anyone living in the West End. Is it the best Chinese food I've ever had? No, but it's not the worst either. The food is good and the location is convenient. Why didn't I give it four stars? My family has been ordering from Mi Chong's since they opened around 2012, but in the past year the quality of service has decreased significantly. Our most recent order (consisting of 3 items) took over 2 hours to be delivered, and when it finally was there were things missing. We will not be ordering from here again.

Terrible food, went there a couple of years ago and was not impressed. We ordered there yesterday because we were at the Giant supermarket. I gave them another chance. Order the garlic ginger chicken. It was mostly fried batter in sauce. Hardly any chicken. Other dishes were bad also. Also, had to wait an extra 30 minutes for my food. Last time we're going there.
