Thanks again for A+ Product and Service.“
“Great place e to eat. Everybody is friendly and speak to you whether they know you or not.2/2/2024...had delicious dinner celebrating my best friend's 70th birthday. Our waitress was fantastic and was so nice when serving dessert to the birthday girl.“
“Sal's OIP is another Altoona exclusive restaurant, and Sal and his wife are legends in their own right. They've been running this business for over 25 years, and offer a hearty pizza with a chewy, fresh baked bread type of crust. There are other italian style sides like subs, strombolis, and spaghetti dinners, but sometimes a plain old pepperoni pizza is best. It usually closes for a month or so during the summer when they go on vacation, and it's dinner only (opens at 4pm).“
“My family has been going to the Allegro for over 25 years and I have only praise for this restaurant. The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable and the owner's and staff are as genuine as they come. If you are going to any of the so called "popular chain" restaurants you are throwing your money away and paying the same price. If you know and appreciate real Italian food, then you need to be coming here. Generations of the Taddei family make you feel as though you are part of the family. Delicious food, beautiful people and delicious wine. It doesn't get any better than that.Kid-friendliness: Generations of family, taking care of families! If teaching your children what delicious food is, prepared and served by people who know you, and care about you, then you need to bring them to the Allegro young and keep bringing them back! You will not find a restaurant more about family than the owners' and staff at the Allegro.“
“I wish I could give this place more stars! It has a classic diner vibe. So pleasant. The staff were friendly and pretty fast. The food was good old home cooking type meals. We got breakfast. Everything was seasoned well and prepared perfectly. From the parking lot I told my husband that we'll be eating there again!“
“I have never eaten here, but have gotten take out many times. Their food is better and more delicious than Italy. The veal parm, stuffed shells and gnocchi are my fav’s, so delicious! The coconut cream pie is to die for! Best Italian food I’ve ever had!“
“We enjoy eating there and they treat you respectfully,. Their pizza is very good but their customer service is better. My son who was bedridden ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. I took it home approximately 10 mi from the store and when I opened it there was no chicken on it. He called back and the owner drove a new pizza to our house..“
“Best place to stop for pizza when I am In town . The staff is always amazing , pizza is always fresh and uses fresh ingredients. They have a decent selection of pizza ? to choose from . I never eat a whole slice of pizza but this you can crush:)“
“I went here to dinner with friends and my daughter who is 17 and has autism. Sometimes crowds and loud noises bother her. We did not have a wait to be seated. We were greeted right away by Cross, who happens to be one of the best servers that I’ve ever encountered! He was right there with drink refills and anything else we asked for. Our dinners came right on time, no long waits. He was friendly and we all enjoyed his company. He made our visit to this Olive Garden one of the very best! I definitely recommend this restaurant! I hope you’re lucky enough to get Cross as your server. We even got desert to go! We were stuffed but the line up looked so good, we couldn’t say no! Excellent service, excellent food!! My daughter also loved the evening. Nothing stressed her out, and she loved Cross too.“
“Overall, a great experience! It took a bit to arrive because it was very fresh. The pics we ate,bbq chicken, was delicious. The garden salad came with soft fresh made bread as well. From the banter we could hear from the back, the staff really liked each other and worked well together. The store was clean and they were accommodating when we told them the TV was to loud. Great place, we will go back!!“
“My family recently got to visit Jethro's and I wish I could give more stars for the service the food and the atmosphere!!! We stayed at a hotel in Altoona for Comic-Con convention in hidden valley. We are looking forward to Altoona's Comic-Con ,so we can have the opportunity to go back to Jethro's and enjoy another evening of great food and awesome service!!!“
“The food here is amazing. I ordered a large cheese and decided to be adventurous and got a small pickle pizza. The cheese is good, not too greasy and a nice and crisp crust. The pickle was very dilly and cheesy, a little messy, but I was pleasantly surprised with it. I feel like it could have had a few more pickle slices, and I bet it would be good to add ham to as well. Delivery was fast and friendly. Next time I've definitely got to try the wings, the toxic waste flavor intrigues me.“
“We decided to celebrate a special anniversary at Finellis and couldn't have been happier with our evening! We made a reservation and had a cozy table on this cold January evening. We were greeted promptly and while we were looking over the menu, we were given a pre-appetizer of a pasta & sausage salad in a delicious dressing. We did order an appetizer of "Drunken Mushrooms" to start and could believe how good they were and a very large portion too. We weren't rushed to order and when ready, gave our server, Christi, our order. The salads were very generous and fresh and we enjoyed two of the house-made dressings. I had an Italian vinaigrette which we loved so much, we purchased some to take home. We did ask for some bread or rolls and a basket was brought out. Out of the two, the bread was the best! Then came the meals. . .my wife had Eggplant Parmisan over angel hair pasta which she loved! I had a huge grilled pork porterhouse steak, cooked to perfection and accompanied by red roasted parsley potatoes and green beans in Jack Daniels sauce. The only thing we really didn't like was the green beans. . .was hoping for fresh cut ones and we couldn't taste the Jack Daniels sauce. That was so minor and we had so much food by then, it really didn't matter in the context of writing this review. The entree portions were large but yet totally scrumptious and seasoned / cooked to perfection. For dessert, they brought over a tray of about 8 or so desserts to pick from. . .all homemade by Mrs. Finelli herself! Oh my. . . who could resist? We decided to take a piece of Italian Almond Cake with butter cream icing. . .it was more than enough for us to share and especially after a big meal. The dessert was heavenly to say the least and we ate every bite! Last but not least, a big shout out to our server, Christi. . . .she made our dinner so enjoyable. . .friendly and checking in on us to see if we needed anything, refilling drinks and helping us order the perfect meal selections for us! A big thanks to her and Finellis. . .we will definitely be back soon!“
