“Dropped by for lunch on a random weekday. Great menu including some lunch specials. Enjoyed a delicious salad. My significant other went with a burger, which she said was one of the best she'd ever had. Tried a flight of beers. Really enjoyed the Flemish red ale. The barleywine was a close second. Friendly service and comfortable dining area. I imagine it probably gets fairly crowded at peak times. We'll definitely come back.”
“Happened to found the place Online after searching a lot of them around the area. Jason was so welcoming from the beginning and answered in detailed the questions I had about the menu. I tried the Brisket , Sausage , Ribs and Baked beans and were beyond expectations, absolutely delicious! I will definitely return for more!”
“Melt in your mouth cheesesteaks with high quality ingredients and fresh rolls. Can’t find a better cheesesteak and served with a smile! Their pizza was also delicious and the first time my son actually ate pizza crust because he loved it!”
“We were traveling through and hit the jackpot here. Crab Rangoon and Egg roll were very good. But the sushi stole the show! Spicy salmon crunch was very good...the dynamite was exceptional...we all agreed the New Year was our favorite. There were so many other items we wanted to try. Great food. Great friendly service! Thank you!”
“Food was perfect. Had a holiday work party here, and the staff was more than exceptional. I don’t even like artichokes, and I couldn’t stop eating them. Also, the tiramisu is to die for. I would die for it. I would get hit by a bus for it. 10/10, would come here again.”
“Called for hours, very friendly and locked in a quick reservation to ensure no conflicts or wait. Upon arrival warmly greeted and immediately seated. Extremely clear and great upbeat music in the background. Food came out quickly and was very delicious. Highly recommended!”
“I had a delightful dining experience last night at the Thai orchid. The staff was so welcoming and nice. The owner went out of his way to check that they had decaffeinated tea for me which I greatly appreciated. The experience was genuinely refreshing. Then the food came out. The green curry was amazing! So creamy with outstanding flavor. The spice level was just right. Not to hot it was uncomfortable to eat, but just enough to make me sweat a little. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant”
“Donna and Pam (sweetest ladies ever!) run the bistro and serve hot food (sandwiches & salads mostly) as well as snacks (chips, muffins, drinks). Their food is great and they can customize it to your liking - just tell them! Personally love their hot dogs and their soups and their chili con carne. Be sure to ask for their daily specials as well if you're undecided what to eat! Best part is that all their options are affordable.”
“Food, Portions, people and prices are second to none!!! Best Deli around. We’re going to use them to cater our next event! Best kept secret in Philly!Dietary restrictions: My wife has a gluten free diet and they were able to accommodate her with several choices.”
“This is a solid, locally owned breakfast spot with creative menu choices. One of our favorites is the Elvis - pancakes with chocolate chips, bacon and peanut butter. You also can’t go wrong with putting Nutella in pancakes. They have tons of options for egg and omelet combinations as well. The restaurant is a bit cramped, especially when they are busy. There isn’t a space to for people to wait for a table, which means people waiting are on top of each other and the diners, which also ratchets up the noise level at those times.Overall, I definitely recommend EmJays! We’ll be back to try more items!”
“This place was awesome and I will for sure be back! This is the kind of place I love to eat. The Berwyn fries were recommended and did not disappoint. Great food, huge portions and good price.”
“I was visiting the Philadelphia area this past weekend, and I was hungry for a cheese steak. I had heard all about Gino's and Pat's, plus cheesesteaks in general within the Philly area, and I just had to have one. I went to Candelario's in the late afternoon. I was one of 2 people in the restaurant, and I ordered a slice of sausage pizza, and a cheese steak sub. Fantastic.I had my slice cold, as I heated up in my motel room, and it was terrific. My cheese steak was to die for. It was the best cheese steak that I have had in over 30 plus years. (I grew up in the Boston Area, and they were good, but this one was fantastic). If I get back to Philadelphia area, I will most definitely seek this place out, as the food I ordered was wonderful.Keep up the great work.”
“Staff are friendly, drinks and fried chicken tenders are amazing. Is crispy and tender with spicy and numb flavor is fire. Drinks I order Peach Oolong Tea with 30% sugar is taste just about right not too sweet or light. Everything is 10/10”
“The owner is fantastic. He's very friendly. The food quality and quantity is great. My favorite food to get is the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. So good!! Best thing is he's open til 2am!!Parking: There's plenty of space to parkKid-friendliness: Has all kinds of candy and chips. Soda and juices. Even the little ones with the straws attached.”
“First time here. More like 4.5 stars. Overall, I like this place. It’s well decorated—interior design is thoughtful and tasteful, not tacky. It shares parking in the back with several other small establishments. Today it’s pouring outside, so it’s extra quiet. Yet I can imagine parking may be challenging on a sunny day.Food-wise, I think their sushi rolls are better than their ramen—I’m just not into their noodle’s texture. Their sushi rolls are of decent size and quality in their respective price category.Service is friendly. My only reservation today is: The restaurant is noticeably cold, as if they didn’t turn on the heat.”
