Visited the Chop House to enjoy a good meal. The menu has taken a dramatic hit. Gone are scallop appetizers, the cauliflower, the Mache choux . All Cajun favorites, replaced by the same mundane steakhouse regulars, 4 versions of potatoes, and wedge salad. Hell if Cheesesteak Factory can get corn, why can’t they? I’m saving gas and heading to Golden Corral!

Located in the Bethlehem windcreek casino. Though they dropped the emerald name and only the chop house. Easy to make reservations online. Menu and pricing is online for you to decide ahead of time and not be surprised. Waitstaff is professional and prompt. We ordered steaks and perfectly cooked. While we ordered spinach, asparagus came. They left it on table and promptly brought the spinach also. Side are served family style with easily enough for two people. For dessert I HAD TO TRY the baked Alaska. Never had it and was excited to see it torched at the table. Was not disappointed Food delicious. Easy parking Great service

This place is really great for a special occasion. That's why you go to a casino in the first place. The prices are outrageous just as you would expect at any celebrity chef's restaurant.

I reserved a table for 6 two months ago for a graduation dinner and found out two hours before reservation that effective May 16th, they would be closed due to staffing. I got no call no email. Also, the WindCreek Hotel where I am staying also was unaware they closed on Mondays!! Terrible Customer Service on both

In 2019 I would have given this place a 5 star rating, which is why I came back to eat here. However, tonight's meal was a different experience. Not only was the food subpar and extremely under seasoned....there was literally no service. Let's start with the food. We ordered the calamari, bbq shrimp and grits, and steak tartar to start. The calamari was just weird - it contained fried olives and mushrooms, but was all just kind of slopped together and under seasoned. The BBQ shrimp and grits was decent, however one of the shrimp was undercooked and tasted raw. The steak tartar - which used to be very good here was bland and under seasoned...they threw a raw egg yolk on top of it - which could have been ok but there was more yolk than tartar...it was just an unappetizing mess. Next..here come the entrees. The king salmon was extremely disappointing, again....zero seasoning...no salt, no nothing. The skin was rubbery and not seared and it was laying on top of spinach with butternut squash and cranberries. The spinach tasted like spinach water and the squash tasted like it was frozen prior. It was pretty awful. The dry aged porterhouse was nothing to brag about. It was just a steak with...again...NO SEASONING...salt would have gone a long way here....but this 90 dollar steak was underwhelming, outback does better. The creamed spinach side for the table was absolutely terrible and inedible. It was like water with a teaspoon of cream. I'm not sure what was going on here but there is clearly an issue with being able to serve edible spinach, it all tasted like it was just soaking in a vat of spinach water. On the bright side, the short rib entree was actually quite good. Now to the service, or lack there of. We never had an actual waiter for our table (and no it wasn't booming with customers). We ordered a round of drinks prior to the appetizers...no one ever came back and asked if we wanted refills. We had to ask a random staff member and then we didn't get our second round of drinks until we were almost done with our entrees. Speaking of entrees, all 3 were brought to the table by random people at different times. At one point the host just dropped a steak on the table and left. Save your money with this one and use it on an Uber to eat at one of the many good restaurants in Bethlehem. Emerils chop house has chopped itself down in both food quality and service.

The service is 5 star but 2 thought food was just ok and 1 enjoyed everything. Sea scallops, Chilean sea bass , lobster tail and the Japanese Wagyu all were excellent , short ribs ok they were a little dry , salmon not so good .The Mac and cheese was nasty . If my husband reviewed it would be 5 stars but I’m the one that had the ok food . Wagyu is a must have .

Excellent steakhouse in the casino in Bethlehem ,PA. Oysters on the half, filet with blue cheese crust was on point. Manhattan with ice "block" hit the mark

My first time eating at Chopped, the food was fantastic, eventhough we had no reservations, we ate at the bar and the service excellent.

A pretty nice place in a casino that is notably nondescript industrial. In most everything that surrounds Emeril's you get the feel that no expense was approved (as opposed to spared). Thus, being here, there is at least a sense you have left that behind for the moment. The menu is decent and, unlike most places these days, it is printed assuming you are blind. Yes, you are not going to have trouble reading anything on it. That's the good. On the flip side, service looks better than it is. From a strange delay of being seated to not knowing exactly who is really covering your service at the table it just doesn't add up well. The food is another story. The Arugula Salad with Prosciutto salad on special was actually perfect. However, the BRAISED SHORT RIBS - whipped potatoes, pearl onions, baby carrots, short rib jus I found to be dry. On top of the above, the pricing, especially for some glasses of wine, is simply unreasonable. It is like they factored in the probability that you are going to have some kind of comp credit to justify the line items. I actually debated going down to two stars for this one. If Yelp would give me a half star, I would be right in between two and three for this one.

Great steak house. Best in the lehigh valley by far. The lamb chop, tomahawk steak, filet, are all amazing. My only gripe is that we have to go through the casino to get to the restaurant so no one under 21 allowed.

The service was great but had an interesting food experience. The oysters and clams were great. Everything else was not. The whipped potatoes were barely mashed and most of the sides had no flavor. The Brussel sprouts and shrimp and grits were the highlight of the meal. What was most disappointing was the pork chop. We asked for it medium rare. It was so unevenly cooked that the last 5 ounces were inedible. They also forgot our brussel sprouts. Most everything needed salt, they only offered regular, iodized table salt. Thank god we didn't get a steak or I would've been pissed to have to add street salt to my food. The service was nice, however, if they had checked on us more frequently we could've sent back the chop. The fact that the mains needed more seasoning and the entire needed to be cook properly makes it hard to give a better rating

Came to celebrate my moms birthday and we had a very late reservation but the restaurant was still crowded but well worth the wait. Our server Temba was very attentive and friendly giving us time to enjoy our meal although it was very close to closing time. The portions were plentiful and came out hot and tasty. Was definitely worth the drive up here.

We enjoyed this rare experience of savoring a flawlessly executed meal in every detail. From the thick cut juicy ender lamb chops, cooked to perfection, plated beautifully with the drizzle of tangy a jus and a hint of sweet pomegranate, the velvety mash, to the perfectly coked Chilean sea bass and fragrant mushroom risotto , and even the lemon creme brulee finale, our meal was flawless form beginning to end. Bravo to the Chef. Superb. The service was excellent as well. I do feel the vegies and sides should be included with the meat, not ordered a la carte, considering the high price tag. But the quality makes up for the bill.

My husband and I had dinner here on my birthday. I ordered the Chilean sea bass over mushroom risotto and my husband ordered a steak. Both dishes were delicious, as was the cheesecake we shared. The birthday dessert dish was lovely and on the house, a nice surprise!
