Great French dip sandwich and French onion soup. Weekend prime was cooked perfectly but a little tough to cut and was not served with au jus. Spooky ghost atmosphere was fun kids liked it.

Been going there for 31 years and the place hit rock bottom today. Terrible ribs that had overpowering spice/sauce and you had to rip the meat of the bone. Very overpriced compared to what they used to charge.

Mushroom Soup was good; would've been better served hotter. Turkey Rachel sandwich was pretty good; would've been better if bread was grilled more to a golden brown. Bourbon Pecan Pie was pretty good. Came for a late lunch, so atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. Waitress provided great service.

Service was slow. For the last two times we've been there they stuck us in the side room with the fireplace and that is the absolute worst place they can seat you for the reason is the waitstaff forgets you're even there. It took them 10 min for the waitress to come over and take our drink orders and I guess because we ordered right away, we didn't get any bread and our drink refills came at the end of the meal when we ordered them when they brought our entrees out. If you ever go here, please insist you get seated in the main room and not in the back side room. You will spend more time than you have to.

This place is absolutley the best. The only thing was they ran out of Prime Rib. It was my Birthday dinner i was so looking forward too that, but no matter what you order and eat at this fabulous Resturaunt, its very good. The staff is Phenominal. We had the fireplace room reserved for a private party of 25. Pam and Mark were great, it’s tough to serve that many off a menu and they did a good job. Food was hot and tasted delicious. Thank you for a wonderful evening for my daughters birthday!

Food was delicious. I had the blackened salmon and my husband had mussles marinara. My Cosmo martini was creative and tasty, my husband had a Manhattan. We were seated in a side room that was very quiet while we were there. Two larger Waitress was very attentive. It's the type of place that you can count onto to have good American food. I would recommend.

ripWow, disrespect for your staff? Your own waitress told us your in house billing procedures were confusing. I personally didn't bring the cake in, said nothing to any of your staff that was.. rude. The $25.00 per capita for reservations was rude, and some kind of fee for using a credit card which we thought was outrageous never is charged elsewhere. Your food was mediocre which several in our group agreed. Indeed, we did take our business elsewhere.... Coopers in Scranton, same group, great seafood experience & no hassles from "business management". Then Henry's in Allentown which turned out to be outstanding. These businesses were very cordial, & want us back. After bringing up our experience at hanover ville ripoff, everyone said they won't go back. Yes, in the land of warehouses, there is a guy who thinks respect for his staff is more important than accommodating a $700.00 dinner group with I might add , a sizable holiday tip, can pick his customers as he sees fit. This is one party which won't forget your complete lack of hospitality.
We just had dinner here tonight. It was the first time I had been there in years. We like to eat early so we made a reservation for 4 on a Saturday. Our food was delicious, our service was great, but what stuck out to me the most was how spotless and cleanly the place was. For me personally, I rather have a clean restaurant with mediocre food than a dirty restaurant with great food. This place has both great food and was sparkling clean. Thank you for a great meal, we will be returning.
