“Good rest stop right before the I70 West to Pittsburgh. Quick efficient service. Two fairly clean wheelchair neutral gender bathrooms are available. Decent sized parking lot that is not too crowded. There’s a Shell and Sunoco gas station in the area as well as a few other good choices.”
“The most delicious and wholesome food option in this tiny town of 180 people is also pretty great on its own. Highly recommend the lamb kabob over rice. The salad is fresh and the roast meats have a great smoky flavor. The beef is a bit chewy but the portions are generous. The soup is hot, fresh and delicious. Plentiful parking; the drive thru was not operational when I went.Highly recommend!”
“Eggs and bacon delicious and biscuits but there home fries was burnt. Before leaving we asked for slice of cheesecake and slice of peanut butter. Waitress brought out two huge pies. Which she had to return. Bring us our slices. Waitress about 90 years old.”
“It's a restaurant stop, so that's the atmosphere. They were the only fast-food place that stayed open on New Years Day at the stop. The food was good, but they were understaffed. Meh, Hangover holiday, so gotta be happy. At least one place was open.”
“We stopped here when we got off at Breezewood, and I was shocked how fast my coffee was done. They had a few touch screen ordering stations here, which really cut back on wait times.”
“This Pizza feels like I’m eating Norway, A guy in a wheelchair started flying wit a Jetpack, Then A nuke exploded in my home country of Dingle berry and I got trapped by the Vietnamese. Help”
“When we stopped by at this McDonald’s DriveThru, they quickly finished the order perfectly without any mistakes and also complied with our customization on everything. Even though at the payment section they told us that they can’t serve us the McFlurry during breakfast, they instantly gave us more options for dessert (that they gave us a discount for because they didn’t tell us when we were ordering) and quickly gave us the refund for the McFlurry. Great service and problem solving. I would recommend if you are taking a road trip in the area.”
“Inside a Travel plaza, had short lines and quick service. Happy they even offer dairy free options for me. Scoop was plentiful, what more can I say, good ice cream, nice staff, quick transaction. Bathrooms and other stores nearby to get a meal after your dessert. Was there around 8pm on a Sunday and it was open”
“The plaza is clean, and the staff is friendly. They are constantly cleaning the place. Customers can be pigs, and they still keep up.The Food hits the spot whenever I stop by to charge my car. They have ample tables to eat and relax. Thanks for catering to Teslas”
“The hot Italian sandwich was delicious. I was so happy to find a good option at a food court. It is tucked away around the corner. A good find. Way better than arbys”
“Another great roadside attraction and great piece of Programmatic Architecture...The Igloo..a working ice cream shop that looks like an actual ice cream sundae! The building alone would make you hungry! Anyone have a really big spoon?”
“An absolutely outstanding little gem in Everett. Manager was very friendly and accommodating, the drinks and food were FANTASTIC, and the overall vibe was so charmingly rustic! If you're looking for a local business to nab lunch in, this one's a real winner! My partner and I were just passing through on a road trip and are quite disappointed we can't be regulars here, haha-Shout-out to Silas (I think) for making a banger lavender London fog!! ?”
“Someone said in the reviews that the steak and cheese was the worst..... well you haven't had all steak and cheese subs then! This is about the only place I'll eat a steak and cheese sub! And it's not on a hot dog roll. That's false. It's on a steak roll. This sandwich is loaded with cheese! The steak isn't full of nasty gristle like other places. This is me and my guy friend's "go- to" when we come here..... or the sloppy joe.As a business owner, I understand it's hard to compete, especially with chain restaurants, when it comes to pricing. I'd rather spend a little bit extra to give to a mom and pop any day than to support some nasty McDonald's.Portions are great here. You'll leave stuffed. But don't skip dessert. She's got the best around.”
“Linda's has awesome food and the staff is wonderful! They also do an Angel Tree at Christmas time for kids. You can pick a number off the tree and be a child's Secret Santa! What a great charity to participate in! I will always support this small town gem!”
“Very down to earth place. Waitress was amazing very respectful and attentive to her customers. A great small town diner off the beaten path. Great food and portions for the ”
“Excellent. ..... EXCELLENT QUALITY SOFT SERVE! I'm from upstate NY. I grew up on soft serve ice cream. This is probably the best quality soft serve I have had my entire life. I had a turtle Carmel sunde with candied pecans. Delicious. 16oz cup packed tight. And the whipped cream was very good. Thick actually tasted like real whipped cream. It blew my mind $ 5.50. ONLY I live in Maryland. On my home from Barree fishing the little J. I glad there so far away. I'd be sooo fat.Very kid ladies working and efficient”
“The bacon bourbon burger is as good if not better than any burger that I have ever had anywhere in the US that I have ever had. They make exactly as I ask and it have never failed to please”
“Driving through and needed a quick place to stop and eat; EOIP hit the spot. Trusted google and it paid off! Chicken parm sub was delicious and my wife enjoyed the Buffalo chicken ranch sub.”
“If you are looking for great country cooking', Kelly's Scenic View Restaurant is the place for you, and you'll be amazed with the service, quality and quantity of food, and the very reasonable prices. Four of us enjoyed the turkey special and the fifth in our group loved his serving of liver with onions, etc.”
“Kathy's is always our go-to when we're working at our auction business, and many of our customers rave about their fish on Fridays. Hands down, the best pizza around, and the subs are loaded with meat and fresh bread. If you leave hungry, it's your fault.”
“For what it is, this is a great place to grab an ice cream, cheeseburger, slice of pizza, Italian sub, and/or onion rings (The funnel cake fries are BOMB!). It’s proximity to the H&BT Rail Trail makes it THE IDEAL place to stop and refuel before heading out to bike, hike, and geocache.Little Mom & Pop places like this are so far and few between these days. Sure, you can go into Bedford Square or Everett proper for more commercial fast food options, but none of those places operate with a well seasoned grill like Brite Spot does. The staff here have always been super friendly and attentive. We come here to grab a bite to eat and to slow down. We’re mindful that there are only so many staff on hand manning the place. Most of their clientele seem to be workmen in the area. An excellent gauge as to how good the food is, when there is a steady stream of people picking up orders on their workday. There is a drive up window and outdoor and indoor seating. It is worth mentioning there are no public restrooms on the premises. I’m sure there is a bathroom for the staff, but with the inside area being so small, it would be a safety issue if customers were allowed to walk through the kitchen area to get to the bathroom. It’s a very tidy and neatly kept establishment. And a nice break from the hustle and bustle of town and traffic elsewhere. They should be called “The Sweet Spot.””
“The gluten free veggie pizza I got was delicious! So glad they had a gluten free option! Counter staff was friendly and the pizza was hot and ready to go when I came to pick it up. Plus I love to support local businesses! They are the life blood of the community.”
“Open on Sunday, super great comfort food menu.... great desserts... home made dinner choices, soup, burgers, steak tips, service was excellent even though it was busy. Would highly recommend and would go again and ”
“Great little local tavern. Friendly bartender (Loretta) took great care of us. Free pool on Tuesday! Fun little spot. Thanks for having us! ** Edit Got their Butter Garlic Cajun Wings and they were fantastic!”
“Why don't you make a steak and veggie Stromboli ...steak,lettuce,raw onions ,tomatoes, and mayo. I know OIP makes a wedgie like this but it's not a srboli.”
“On a road trip, my family stopped here, and it was a hopping little sub shop. The employees were very nice and the food was yummy. I actually wasn't even hungry, yet the sub was so good I couldn't put it down! May have to make it our usual place to stop on road trips. One guy, we think he could have been the owner, even made sure he called out goodbye and told every customer, "appreciate you!" I liked he was very cheery, and, if not the owner, he must at least take pride in his job (he was making sandwiches and trying to make sure tables got wiped down for the next customer) highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: They had a small kids menu and high chairs. Also, easy access to the bathroom”
