We had heard great things about the crab cakes. I didn't care for them at all. But my hamburger & fries were pretty good.The front of the building is the sports bar area which is also a smoking area. So we ate in the back which is like a banquet room. Just a it strange. We often felt forgotten by our server as we were the only ones back there.
Butler Pennsylvania is a small gem in the Great Lakes rust belt area, a bit off the beaten path from the lakes, but discovering it yielded a wearily aged town that once was the birthplace and home of the original US ARMY Jeep, but has started to make a comeback as a haven for the arts and the next generation.The Brick House is no exception, rather it exemplifies the soul of this town. The staff here is awesome, and they used to have an awesome menu. But ever since Covid, the menu keeps shrinking and so does the staff. It makes me sad because the people are so nice but it’s clear the business is struggling.Parking: Street parking is free in the evening. Sometimes you have to walk a bit.
