“Very nice golf course. Just got Khors is extremely busy so make sure you book your teetimes as early as possible. The staff is great and they’ll help you how they can. The driving range is in decent shape. I think it’s five dollars for a bucket like 35 or 40 balls it’s a good time. If you’re a Golf enthusiast, check it out, you won’t be disappointed.“
“Another fantastic meal at North Hanover Grill. Our server tonight was fabulous but we have always had great service here. The food is always hot, delicious and come out correctly every time even with substitutions. Everything is very fairly priced and the house made chips always hit the spot. 10/10“
“My husband and I tried this place yesterday on some friends recommendations. It was sooo good. Everything seems to be homemade. Will definitely be going back. Only downside was the xtra fee if paying with a credit card but that's not gonna keep us away. Can't wait to go back and try a different meal.“
“A welcome surprise in Carlisle. They don’t take reservations so be prepared to wait or utilize their call ahead list. Great server! The food was a solid 4-stars. The server knew food, drink and the menu. The food just didn’t hit it out of the park. The She-crab soup was just a little off and the Shrimp Gnocchi was bland. The gnocchi themselves were very dense, too dense. Packed with calories I’m sure but, my standard is little pillows of deliciousness. I had to add salt to the meal and left some behind. Something I very rarely do. Worth a trip if you’re in the area but keep working on your culinary game.“
“Breakfast! Best time to go. 2 eggs, home fries, toast, with coffee. That's been the special for years. Great food, great service, and they treat everyone like they're family. There's a reason that they have been around forever. The only drawback is that there isn't any real of street parking, but it's worth circling the block to find a spot. In Carlisle for the week, weekend, or a day? You gotta check this place out!Kid-friendliness: A family atmosphere, they are kind friendly.“
“Market Cross has a great menu for food and drinks. There are tables as well as the bar area. There’s a room that can be used for large groups. The service is fast and friendly. We had the beer cheese burger and the lip smacker. Both were delicious! We’ve been several times and always enjoyed ourselves.“
“My friend and I were on a work trip in the area. We didn't know where to go. I came here for the parrot salad! Our server was so kind and took good care of my allergies. She got us in and out, perfect for our meeting. We didn't try the desserts, but I think that's what they are known for. They were mouthwatering to look at.Dietary restrictions: I got the parrot salad with salmon. Dairy and gluten allergy, and I felt good after which means they did a good job !“
“Met a friend here for dinner. The shrimp and scallop Skewer was delicious. The Crab tortellini Alfredo was pretty bland with little crab meat. The Elderberry Lemon martini was amazingThis was likely an off day for them. The Rustic is usually spot on.“
“I loved my skillet meal. Hubby is spoiled by Perkins pancakes so he wasn't too excited. But I would definitely go back. I must say though, that they had the BEST coffee I've EVER had in a restaurant. It was SO good.I liked their menu overall too.“
“My partner and I have been wanting to come here for the last 8 years, and we finally went. The food? Amazing! The staff? Sweet and kind! Attentive! The atmosphere? Cute and Quiet. We had a lovely meal and a lovely time. We could hear ourselves talk, the waitress was so sweet and friendly. The onion rings were HUGE, the steak was delicious and cut like butter. The gravy though? That's what sent me. You'll see us again soon!“
“Had a gathering after our celebration of life ceremony for someone who played golf at this course for many years. The food was very good and they make their own sodas. What a treat. On the smaller side but very accommodating and attentive servers.“
“Was here many moons ago. However, I always hear they have amazing wings, so I wanted to go back. Their parking lot is pretty big, and they do have an outside for those nicer months. Be warned it's a HEAVY smoking bar. It was not pleasant at all! I would go back in nicer months and go outside. The bartender was a super nice guy! We didn't order any drinks. We had just come for the wings. They were a little pricey about $15 for a dozen but had lots of flavors to pick from! I decided on mild garlic that I requested extra crispy. Let me say I would have given a 5 stars bc the wings were that good, but bc of the heavy smoke, it went down a star. They also do not have homemade ranch, which to me is a big thing.“
“I read the other review on Yelp and decided I need to check this place out. I went with two of my coworkers and none of us were disappointed! The food is Amazing! We tried an array of different chicken (baked, BBQ, and Fried) and side dishes combinations. The price is extremely reasonable! $12 for a big to-go box of 3-4 pieces of chicken, 2 home made sides, corn bread, and the "yak" drink. Lol! Don't let the name fool you, the "yak" is delicious It's currently a hole in the wall, if you blink you'll drive past it. It is located in the plaza of the McCarren building supply but along the Louther street side under a set of old metal stairs. There is a small hand written sign on the edge of the building and an "open" flag over the door. The only downside is there are no tables to eat at yet. The space is plenty big enough and I assume a dine-in option will eventually be available. This business is only 5-6 months old and I expect it to become a Carlisle Staple in the future! I look forward to introducing everyone I know to this place, maybe I'll see you there :)!“
“Had a long day of driving, then I got hungry and decided to eat at Denny’s!? It was a great choice and I was met at the door by a wonderful waitress named Alexandria! She was great, got my order right and attended to me with all my requests! Thanks Alexandria,I’ll be back!“
“I'm giving 5 stars bc of Sam. I have been in the restaurant industry for my entire life. He is an absolute gem. Honestly if we come back it's for him and the rest of the staff. The food was ok. My spicy margarita 10/10. The entire staff here was so warm and welcoming. The hostess and bartender also exceeded my expectations. The bartender personally delivered my drink bc Sam was busy training. I just hope the kitchen and corporate can get up to par. The quality and pricing of the food honestly I wasn't impressed. It was average. But the staff blew me away. Thank you for amazing service! You are the bomb ❤️“
“The fish sandwich was a disappointment, I was expecting an actual filet of fish, not a fish patty, but it tasted good, and my friends' dishes all looked great. Definitely will go back and try something else. The service and atmosphere made up for it ?“
“One of the greatest waffle house we've been to (we're from texas) me and my Husband enjoyed this location & our waiter Becca. I like the fact that every worker were on their duties, as far as keeping tables clean, getting orders out ,and greeting everyone as they walk in. It's all about how you welcome customer . Great customer service ?“
“The food is really good. I love the breakfast burger without the added spices (gets a little salty).I'd recommend going when it isn't busy. There seem to be more errors with orders during the busy times. With that said, any issues were promptly resolved. The staff is very customer centric. The coffee isn't great.“
“Used to visit Red Robin more often, been years since I’ve eaten at one. First time visiting this one. Food was as good as I remembered. But, like everything else, prices are much higher than my last visit. Nevertheless, still worth the visit. I do find it crazy that they charge $2.99 to play unlimited games. You’d think this would be complimentary to entertain your kids while waiting for your meals. It was interesting the adult plates were plain white while the kid’s dishes had interesting pictures on them. I guess that’s their solution to entertaining the kids. The art on the walls was as random as I remembered. The PacMan one was my favorite. The most confusing piece of art was on the ceiling. It contained many different pictures in a nice montage. The confusion was why all the pictures faced one direction with the exception of the black and white pic of tepees. I have no idea why this one picture faces the opposite direction than all the others. Service was nice for the large party we had, the waitress and manager checked in often. The only issue was lack of refill offers for our drinks. The offer was made after a noticeable dry spell of the check-ins and right before the asking about the check. All in all, good visit, good food, and nice (but slightly confusing) art.Parking: Shared parking lot with the strip mall“
“Gone handful of times, seems like friendly place. One thing that irks me, understanding happy hour prices for certain days but I've ordered same alcoholic beverage and numerous times it's different price.. It's like bartender and/or management doesn't know correct prices.“
“I’ve traveled all over the country and have been to many diners, but no where has been as good as The Hamilton. The food is absolutely amazing and they do not cut corners. I ordered the beef club and this is the only diner I’ve been to that makes their own roast beef and uses it in their sandwiches. They also have the BEST coleslaw, I’ve had anywhere. If there is one restaurant to define Carlisle, PA, it would be this one. Give it a try and you won’t regret it! Just remember to bring cash, they do not take credit cards.“
