“A short bike ride from my house, Buzzsaw is where I go to work every Friday. The music, chatter, service, everything, it's always immaculate. Obviously, the real stars are the coffee (iced oatmilk honey cinnamon latte) and the scones. As soon as I took a bite of their pecan toffee scone, my brain melted. It's easily the best scone I've ever had. If you're in Williamsport and looking for killer coffee, Buzzsaw is the place to be.Parking: If you can't find a spot in the lot, there's plentiful parking along Rose St. and, if needed, any of the perpendicular streets.Wheelchair accessibility: From the main parking lot, there's a level door into the Pajama Factory, and then another into Buzzsaw.”
“Great place!! The food is absolutely amazing. This is my favorite restaurant out of all my reviews. This is a must when I am in Williamsport. The shrooms are excellent. The mozzarella and capicola is phenomenal. And the cheesecake is freakin great!”
“Had dinner at John Ryan's last evening. We were seated in the tavern (per our reservation request) which is below the main dining area. It's a quiet and dark room with stone walls and exposed beam ceiling. Made for a cozy atmosphere. Our server, Kylee, presented us with menus and took our drink orders. I was thirsty for their Limoncello Martini, but also curious about their latest brew called a Dandelion Ale and asked for a taster of that. Our drinks arrived and the ale was delicious. Crisp with a slight citrus edge. To me, it would be a perfect summer beverage. My martini was sublime - the limoncello lended a perfect combo to the gin. So much so that I had two that evening.Appetizer of our choice were the Bao Buns. Hubby was a bit hesitant but that didn't last long. The soft pillowy steamed buns holding tender seasoned pork, pickle, cilantro, and a spiked mayo gave just the right kick and had us both wishing for more.Mains were just as delicious. The curry pork katsu for me hit the spot. Battered and fried thinly sliced pork over rice with carrots and potatoes complete with a delicious curried Japanese sauce drizzled over everything. The pork melted in my mouth and the whole dish was just incredible.Hubby got one of his favorite dishes, the duck confit, and it definitely did not disappoint. Fall off the bone tender. He completely cleaned his plate! We were curious about dessert and decided to go for it. Irish apple cake and a Bailey's cheesecake - both specials for St. Patrick's Day. I have to say that dessert was the least favorite of our meal. The piece of cake was quite small - two bites and it was basically gone. The cheesecake was interesting. Good flavor and creamy but the crust seemed off. Almost like it had been burned with a cooking torch as it gave off a burnt sugar flavor and the color was quite black. Not sure if it was intentional and I failed to question it. Instead I just scooped out the filling and left the crust on my plate.........BUT! This didn't matter because we fell in love with the place and the food (other than dessert) has us wanting to return. We both saw other plates on the menu that we want to try and we'll definitely be back. The atmosphere and service alone were outstanding. It's a beautiful building and establishment and we look forward to our next visit. One further note - not sure if there is a parking lot nearby but we were able to park along the street just steps from the front door.”
“Truly one of the shining gems of our area. Beka makes the best food and has the brightest smile the whole time. Absolutely love eating here. The waiters/waitresses are wonderful, personable, and dedicated. If you haven’t been, you must go!Dietary restrictions: They always go above and beyond to accommodate my gluten allergy. Beka even started stocking up on different gluten-free options to make a small store of items available for me to purchase. She’s amazing”
“We were visiting the area for appointments and came here for lunch two days in a row. It was so good! The menu is not expansive, but just right. I had the gobi masala the first day and my husband had fish curry. He loved it, which says a lot because he hates my curry. Today, I had gobi mutter and he had chicken tikka masala. We also had vegetable samosa, some naan, and tea. There was not a thing served that wasn't perfect.I am mostly vegetarian and my husband eats everything. We had no problem choosing an option for me to eat.The building is a bit older, so I suppose some might complain about that, but it was very clean and well maintained. The restrooms were clean and functional, down a hallway in the shared building. The atmosphere was quiet but the owner turned on some indian music on the tv, so it set a nice background and didn't feel awkward. Service was quick and efficient.I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys this type of food (and even to those who do not!) If I ever have a reason to come to Williamsburg, PA again, I would definitely return.Vegetarian options: The gobi masala and aloo mutter were both exceptional. Many more vegetarian options are on the menu, too, of course.Dietary restrictions: Many options for vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, etc.Parking: There is plenty of street parking and a good amount of parking in the lot beside the building.”
“Amazing selection! I appreciated the detailed descriptions of each beer. Tried the Leggy Blonde and Crimson Suspenders - both blew me away. Left with a growler of Crimson Suspenders, excited to return!”
“Great experience there this guy named Caleb and he's the nicest person I've ever met. He suggested that I try the buffalo chicken wrap and it was to die for definitely would go ”
“I ordered an affogato for myself and a batch brew coffee for my husband. I absolutely loved my drink and the vibe in this coffee shop. It was warm and welcoming but also chic and industrial. The worker was so kind when I asked what an affogato was, and was friendly! My husband didn't love his coffee, but I think it just needed more sugar honestly. We were looking for an alternative for Starbucks and it seems like we found somewhere better. They also have coffee to purchase as well as coffee making supplies. We will definitely be back! I'd recommend popping in and trying a drink or two.Dietary restrictions: Milk free options available”
“Such a cute shop and value add to the Williamsport area. Did a bunch of holiday shopping here to put together nice gift baskets for friends and family. Love that they carry so many local Williamsport brands and support so many other local businesses.”
“Great breakfast spot! The food was delicious, service great, restaurant was clean and decorated with nostalgic items.Parking: The lot is small, but there is plenty of on street parking nearby.”
“I love this place. I go to school here and occasionally drop in after my evening class for some food and a brew. The workers are great people to talk to! Also, the food is GREAT and you can order it to go! Highly recommend the wings!”
“Visiting our daughter at college and a Google Maps search for food landed us at Barrel 135. The reviews sold us and after stepping inside, we were not disappointed! The cocktail menu had a lot of great options, we tried 4 or 5 and were impressed with each one for different reasons.Food was not what I expected walking in, but was right up our alley for something different. The short rib ramen was great, nice big chunks of meat, a good kick in the broth, and was something that I wouldn’t typically land on at a first-time visit… but glad I did. The poke bowl and seared tuna were also great options and tasted great.Desserts were out of this world, we literally each got our own because we couldn’t decide on one to share. Again, zero disappointment in that decision and would do it again. Our server was fun and energetic, made us feel like we had been friends for years, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will most certainly take this stop again when we’re back in the area.”
“absolutely LOVE this place! The food is excellent! the prices fantastic! i go there any time I can. the grits, sausage gravy, corned beef hash, everything I've ever had has been spot on and delicious! service very good and friendly. the cheeseburgers, fries, cheesesteaks, delicious. you cannot beat this place for great food, great people and excellent prices! I'd score 10 if I could!”
“They're a very friendly and familiar restaurant, accessible to truckers, and with waitresses who greet you like you've been coming there every week for the last 25 years. Nestled in the Allegheny mountain range of the Susquehanna trail, the morning sunlight streams into the homestyle restaurant and warms your soul. The portions were surprisingly big, and though A la carte does add up, you really only need one side with your omelet. Home fries are done on the flat top, sausages come in disks. This was exactly what I need in the middle of my 600 me day. I will definitely be stopping through next time I come by.”
“Staff was very pleasant. Food was great and came out just as we ordered it. We have already recommended it to others. We had full intentions of taking pictures of our food but we devoured it first!Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.”
“First time here. It was really busy which tells me the food is good. Got takeout, staff were so friendly and I could tell they knew their customers by name. Service was quick, food was delicious and I will go back.Parking: Huge lot with lots of open spaces”
“My family had a great experience today! The tacos were fresh and yummy the staff was attentive and kind. Lovely taco truck we will definitely frequent here and try other menu items ??”
“This place was really buzzing when we arrived. We only had a short wait and had the pleasure of a very friendly hostess and server. We ordered burgers, tacos and a Salmon BLT. The food was really good. Their spicy and garlic aiolis were amazing. I'd definitely come back. Also loved there plenty of tvs tuned to various March Madness games. We were so hungry I forgot to snap a pic.”
“Great place for a beer & great beer for a place.. Employees are terrific. I hope the bring back "Reckoning" at some point; one of my all te greats!”
“We stopped in Williamsport for the night and were looking for a place to eat for dinner with the kids. We found this gem downtown in a small street. Pizzas are wonderful, service is great and prices are reasonable. Kids menu is awesome and portions are generous. They also have great local beers. Love the atmosphere and they also have live music in the evening. Will definitely go back.”
“My wife and I were visiting a cousin in S Williamsport. We're from the Philly suburbs and are mostly unfamiliar with Williamsport restaurants. Fortunately, I had seen a piece on Peter Herdic on the PCN channel and was quite impressed. We were not disappointed. Excellent food, nice service and an attractive, if a bit dated, environment. It is an old mansion so understood. An ex Ellenton dining experience.”
“It was great, was a little confused finding it but it is such a cute place. The owner is extremely nice and welcoming and I think has been one of the best dinners I’ve been to.”
“I found this place on Yelp one afternoon. And was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. The food was delicious and the workers were super nice and polite. I ordered a quart of chicken Lo Mien and was so happy. I would 100% come back here for some more food. If your looking for a good Chinese restaurant that will do pick up and order in to go, this is the place”
“This business is a family type bar where everyone gets to know everyone. Last visit was a live band celebrating someone soon to be married. Saw several good friends, has many amazing drinks as well. Nice relaxing bar. It does need a redesign and fixed up a bit but it still is a place to call home.”
“Came from Florida to PA to visit family for Spring Break. Wanted some really good pizza, different than Florida. I searched for a few hours and finally settled on Venice. The pizza was AMAZING. I am a cheese girl and so is my daughter. The cheese and sauce was PERFECT”
“Place looks beautiful. I was interested in stopping by and grabbing a drink but I had other things to get done. If their service is as good as my home town I'm definitely taking my next date there!”
“Had the spinach artichoke dip and fettuccine with chicken and it was the best meal I had in a long time. Service was fast and accurate. Maranda is amazing at what she does.”
“My husband used to live in Williamsport, and his favorite pizza was Pudgies. Now, living two hours away, I stop there every time I do an animal transport near the neighborhood. I get him a pepperroni party pizza. Makes his day.”
“Recommended by a friend to try and we were blown away at the food? Portions, affordability, atmosphere and staff. Great food. The owner Brian, checked in on us multiple times and our waitress was great!! About an hour from our home but will be worth the trip to return soon.”
“Typical bar environment with phenomenal food! We have been here a couple of times. We have had the tuna melt, build a burger, mediterranean chicken sandwhich, and steak...nothing disappoints! Match that with friendly wait staff and clean facilities. I'm glad that we live about a half hour away so that I'm not there every night!”
