We were really excited to go here but upon arriving for our reservation, we were sat and were not talked to for 30 minutes before we said something. Not given waters or bread or a simple “I’ll be with you guys in a minute”. There were 7 tables in the restaurant. We were fully willing to pay the elevated price of the menu items and were excited to do so. But expecting someone to pay 300 dollars for a meal for 2 and not even giving waters after 30 min, isn’t going to make lasting customers. The wait staff was extremely rude when we asked about a waitress coming over. There’s plenty of high end restaurants in Erie that you can go to where you are treated much better, high end dining is to be an experience this is far from it.

So disappointing, waited 20 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink, it took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. Our appetizers and salads came out separately. For an expensive steak house, all of our steaks were terrible. Asked for the bill which took 15 minutes, then another 15 to run our credit cards. We left most of our steaks as a to go box was not necessary.Where is Bob?

This was thee most disappointing experience. Service was slow, drinks forgotten & steaks ($40 Ribeyes) were both over done. The burger was just ok. Will not be returning. Took 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order, another 15 for them to arrive, my tito's was completely forgotten. Appetizer took 30 mins to get to the table. Check was dropped at the table and took forever to get cashed out. So disappointing.10/10 do NOT recommend. Save your money.

Unfortunately, this place has gone down hill fast since my last few visits. This was my favorite place to go for a special night out. The drinks WERE great and the quality of the food WAS superb, however, my recent experience will be my last. The food was terrible and the drinks were repulsive. If I could give a negative rating, I certainly would.

The steak was tough and the prime rib was over cooked. All the food is over priced. We went for our anniversary and left very disappointed.

Absolutely some of worst service I’ve had. We were seated properly and that when everything came to a stall it took 15 minutes to get water another 15 minutes for them to take our drink order and 15 minutes to get our drinks. So we were there 45 minutes and all we got were drinks they didn’t even take our dinner order. That’s when our party of 5 said let’s go find a better establishment. We will not be eating at Bob’s steakhouse.

well where to begin. took 1/2 hr to get water. service was terrible. available menu items were limited. no one seemed to care if we were there or not. received our drinks which were not correct. left after paying for them and expressed our concerns. no one seemed to care. all we got was "oh sorry" well we were sorry as well as this dinner could of been well over $500 for our party. we went down the street and really receved excellent customer service and food. we will never go back to Bobs and will not recommend this establishment to any one. oh sorry!!

The waitress Janna was nice & informative since it was my first time being there. The steak melts in your mouth. I highly recommend going there for a special occasion or just to eat some good food. Good gathering place. I met Bob.

We came in for restaurant week and won't be back. If it was just one food item that was at issue, we could have requested a replacement for that food item. However, we had an issue with 4 out of the 5 total menu items we received. My steak was supposed to be med rare and was so purple/blue I'm not sure it could count as anything but raw...Both of my sides were unpleasant to say the least. My husband ate one of them because he doesn't like to waste food but he said he didn't like it either. He got a burger and that was okay. I would expect an independent steakhouse to have decent fries and these were straight from a bag.It was a pretty big red flag when I was ordering my steak and was told I had to pick a flavored seasoning, and then again had to choose a flavored butter topper. A good steak shouldn't need to be so dressed up and I guess the answer is that this just isn't good...I wasn't planning on even leaving a review but Google asked me to. The atmosphere was kind of uncomfortable, cold, and bland. They may have been aiming for clean and classy, but they missed the mark entirely. The service was not great either. The server wasn't inattentive but he continuously didn't listen to me and would look to my husband for answers instead which was very strange. He also kept lingering at our table, not to chat or anything, just in silence for longer than was comfortable...

Went to Bob's on my birthday. Inside atmosphere was very nice, and Dominic our server was attentive without hovering.I ordered chicken francais because it sounded so good with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The chicken cutlet was perfectly fried, but then served in a buttery broth that just sogged it.( it was supposed to be a lemon SAUCE) I couldn't taste any garlic in the potatoes, in fact they tasted like they were baker potatoes that had been boiled in the same water used for my husband's lobster. The asparagus was good, and my husband's steak was very good. In addition to my meal being disappointing, we were told they no longer offer the free dessert for birthdays because people "took advantage" . (Even though I had picture ID with my birthdate)My takeaways:Don't believe what you read on their website, it's obviously not updated, and order steak at a steakhouseWe will probably give Bob's another try, but it certainly won't be for the surf & turf and chicken francais! It'll be for a less pricey meal, like a steak sandwich. Total for both our meals and 1 drink: $100+

Brussel sprouts, carrots, mac and cheese and spaghetti were excellent. My fish and chips were burnt. Had better fish at Long John silver's.They charge me $28 when the menu says $22.

Went for a birthday, had a reservation. Quick to be seated by a very kind waitress who continued to be the highlight of the meal- extremely professional and definitely knew the menu well.Sad to say... our steaks were barely seasoned, if seasoned at all. They were near flavorless and extremely bland. Considering the price of these steaks and how genuinely fantastic the cut of steaks both looked- cooked to preferred temperature perfectly, mind you- this was a massive disappointment.Sides offered with the meals were sadly just as bland and uninspired. A slice of cheesecake was offered at the end of the meal that was really good and had fantastic raspberry drizzle.Seems like these have been reoccurring issues with the kitchen according to reviews- it's a shame management/chefs haven't worked on making sure food is actually worth the price.

I came here on a business dinner on a Friday night and I ordered the Ribeye with Truffle fries and Carrots with a bottle of Modelo. I was not given a glass for my beer and I had to ask for a glass, but when asked I was provided with a chilled draft glass. There was a piano player that was remarkable in setting the mood and took requests and was just awesome. My steak was less than awesome, it was not seasoned at all and not properly cooked to what I ordered as Medium. The other members of my party also complained of that their steaks were not seasoned or cooked appropriately, so as to confirm it was not just me. The truffle fries were Kraft parmesan cheese not fresh shredded and the truffle oil was meh Costco truffle oil on oven baked frozen steak fries. The carrots were cooked and seasoned very well and the bread in the bread basket was crispy on the outside and soft/warm on the inside. We had to ask for a dessert menu and all ordered the Bananas Foster which was a magnificent take on the dish, it consisted of Angel Food Cake "cupcakes" with crisp caramelized banana slices on top. Dessert and the bread were actually the highlight of the meal. After eating I wasn't surprised that the place was only about a third full on a Friday night at 7pm.Parking: This place in in a strip mall with plenty of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is in a Strip mall with ADA ramps and plenty of Handicap parking.

Bob’s Steak House is a joke, just a Glorified Bar food restaurant. Nobody seemed experienced including the cooks and waitress. The service was SLOW, I meant Extremely; and the foods were terrible , I meant ALL of them. No exaggeration! After only 10 minutes I thought it was a new restaurant just opened the previous day.Besides very bad service and food (the starter meat ball were Raw! No kidding! ) , There is a word to describe this restaurant: EXPENSIVE.We entered at 6 PM to celebrate birthday. After 10 minutes the waitress came , she was slow and unconfident. and forgot many things we ordered. We wait too long for each round: drink, bread, part of starters. At 7:15, we got our steak, which were totally well done, dry and tasteless, no ANY flavor, just cooked, and OVER cooked. The waitress apologized that she put all the steaks on heat plate and forgot them, she took 2 steaks back.Around 7:30 we got the final starter, shortly after we started eating our steak. I then asked what does [Starter ] meant? Not only it was too late, the meat were totally RED and RAW. I think the cook just threw the balls into the source to cook, and the manager took them out without asking, We ate the totally RAW meat ball . Good we spat out quickly, except I swallowed half ball , fortunately I was not sick later on.Their cooks and waiters didn’t show up, so anyone they could use that day became cooks and waiters/waitresses, including the manager. So can you imagine the food quality ? For a $60 a plate, they shouldn’t open the door without real cooks. It was a total wasting money for this dinner. And I won’t go back to this restaurant again!(Our next table came in at 6:10, at 7:15, they finally got their salad ?)
