The food was pretty tasty here, service was quite slow and it seemed our server was new or didn't care to be doing it. Either way, I'd go back again, one of the better Mexican food places around!

A staple in our restaurant rotation. Good portions, consistent quality and preparation each time we visit. Friendly and accommodating staff. Get the Queso Fundido!!

Service was good at start and went down hill after the delivery of the meals. Could not find the waiter for bills or to clear the table from used plates.Food was hot and good. I would recommend the meal I had to eat.Service just wasn't our day.

The last 2 times we were there had to be the worst ever. 2 different wait staff that could barely speak English and got everything screwed up. What the heck is going? This is my favorite restaurant and I'm almost to the point that I don't even want to go there anymore.

A great restaurant. We just recently moved to the area and this was our 1st time there and we really enjoyed the food. Extensive menu at fair prices. They make awesome enchiladas.

We were welcomed right away and politely. During our dinner there was a spill at our table, no problem no trouble. Our service handled it quickly and professionally. All the food was delicious so it was difficult to pick a plate ( I don't always want to eat the same meal when I go) but please try the #87 plate (it's a new item). You will not be disappointed. Enjoyed fried ice cream for dessert, always a good decision.Kid-friendliness: The staff is very kind to children. The menu is child friendly. ?Wheelchair accessibility: I did notice there was a wheelchair ramp on site as well as accessible tables. During my visit we did not need to utilize these amenities.

Salsa had a bit of a kick.Chips were thick. They were the best part of the experience. Our food came out after a bit with our guac.Husband ordered something being told that it had chopped up fish. Didn't mentioned that it was raw fish. Husband returned it. The guac left a weird aftertaste. My California burrito was unlike any I've had before. My little salad on the side was a 1 in thick half of a tomato with shredded lettuce and a good helping of the weird guac. I ended up adding the salsa to it just to take literally two bites before I boxed it. (I struggle to just leave food behind). Also my husband ended up retrieving a box for me due to the inattentiveness of the server. After a while he did finally show up to give us the check with my husband's food removed. Maybe it was an off night.

Great local Mexican food. Prices are reasonable, portions are larger than expected. They do not seem to be related to the other El Canelo locations around here.Staff have been consistent for some time now. They are generally nice and helpful, have never had any issues with them.Food is excellent. I've tried a number of options here and been happy with everything I've eaten. I usually go for fajita style dishes, but have had good success with other plated dinner portions. Lunch specials are a good deal which offer a surprising amount of food. There is infinite chips and salsa which is a big plus for me.The location is well maintained inside. It underwent some renovations within a year of this review which helped clean up the place and update it in general. Seating is large, pretty isolated booths primarily. Good amount of seating for party purposes if desired.Vegetarian options: Significant vegetarian options. I'm not vegetarian but frequently get veggie options because they're so diverse and good here.Parking: Lot next to building. Reasonably maintained. Hard to get out of if you plan on making a left exit, it's a busy street.Kid-friendliness: It's not strictly a "kid restaurant" but offers enough food that a kid into Mexican food would be happy. Expect to bring leftovers home.

I ordered pollo loco; it is supposed to have cheese sauce. At first I didn't think it had any, but then I saw some of the spices that are in cheese sauce and realized it had maybe 1/4 of a scoop. Disappointed is an understatement, because this was $15.99. For basically overseasoned chicken breasts that aren't covered in cheese sauce like they're supposed to be, and some rice. I could have made chicken and rice at home........this is not what I ordered, really, it's basically some sublar chicken breast and rice
