Great service by Jordan. Appetizer empanadas and corn hush puppies were really good- not too spicy, thankfully. Salad was fresh spring greens. Hubby got fried chicken, I had the butternut squash ravioli which was a huge meal with leftovers. Shouldn't have gotten the coconut pie but it was probably the best I've ever had the including my grandmother's recipe. We'll definitely go back! The young man bussing tables was realize nice, too.

First time at this place. Only one word to describe them, amazing. The food, the staff, cleanliness, and waiting time were all fantastic. I will definitely be coming back more times.

Great restaurant in an unexpected place. They have outdoor seating in addition to indoor, and the indoor space is bigger than you'd think from just looking at the building. The food was excellent and the service was awesome! Only "complaint" is that we finished dinner before the band started playing lol. Would definitely come back here again!

Service and food were great. Server was friendly. Place was very busy, but we got our food rather quickly. Parking for this place isn't the greatest. I'm handicapped and we had a hard time finding parking.

I can’t believe we came this far north to have THE BEST southern food we have ever had! The crab hush puppies and shrimp and grits are NO JOKE! EVERYTHING we ordered was exceptional- including the bottle of wine. Super friendly service and charming atmosphere, too! What a hidden gem!! GO! And prepare to be so pleasantly surprised!

Jerk burger was fantastic, wife had the pineapple eddie burger with the plantains as a side. She also loved it. Crab meat hush puppies were the star of the show. Absolutely amazing! Will definitely return for a date night sometime soon.

Absolutely spectacular! The atmosphere: cozy and comforting. The staff: extremely friendly! And the food: DIVINE. Our group will certainly come back again soon. :) Thank you so much for making our night!Oh, and P.S. the Creole Shrimp appetizer is to die for!

We are driving cross country with our first night in Erie PA. We were hankering for salads so we ordered the chop and the caesar, both were made with fresh ingredients. The caesar dressing was homemade with just the perfect amount of anchovy. The cornbread muffins and carrot cake were moist and tasty. We ordered our food to go. Walking in, the staff greeted us with smiles. Cute place. Will plan to dine in the next time we are in town.

Absolutely amazing!!!!! The food was some of the best that I have ever tasted! Seriously! The flavors of the chicken were so complex and delicious !! And the pan seared catfish just melted in my mouth!! The whole staff was so attentive and open! So welcoming and friendly! What an incredible find!! Thank you!!!

We were seated and served very quickly, especially for a Friday night. My grits were cooked perfectly, but sadly my fried catfish had gone soggy. My husband really enjoyed his pork dish (I can't remember the name but it was Haitian fried pork and spicy cabbage). All desserts are made in house which I loved! We tried the coconut pie. It was very tasty, the crust was just a bit burnt. Overall a very good restaurant, just a hair shy of 5 stars for a couple small reasons but I would definitely return and try another dish (and dessert).

Really enjoyed the shrimp and grits entree, and the beef empanadas to start. I didn't enjoy that the bartender wouldn't speak to me or even cash me out when I pointed out that she had added an extra drink on my tab, she did get it removed, but I should have sat at a table instead of the bar.

Exquisite plantains, a delicate carmelized char on the outside and a creaminess on the inside; you can tell a lot by how a restaurant handles its basic, essential items. We had everything from fish, to shrimp, to ox tail, hush puppies and more. It was all fantastic. Amazing that this place is so high functioning during such stressful times for food service industries. The place was packed and we still got our food in a flash. We will be back.
