This restaurant pairs a great location with great food. Three of us ate dinner here and all three entrees were fantastic in taste and freshness. I have a good allergy and they went out of their way to make sure the food was safe and delicious. We had plans to eat elsewhere tomorrow, but might come back to this restaurant again because it was so good! Don’t miss this opportunity to have truly great food.
Great view and excellent service. Other than the Calamari appetizer, the food was sub-par. Limited "Bar Food" menu at ridiculous prices. Not going back.
My wife and I decided to go to the Shoreline for dinner Wednesday night. We both ordered the flat iron steak medium rare and asked for the fries to be crispy. My mixed drink of Crown and Ginger Ale was very good and my wife just had a Miller lite. The only problem that we had was that when the cook was doing the same steak prepared the same way for each of us he chose one thick steak and the other was a bit thinner. My wife’s the thicker one came out a beautiful medium rare and mine came out medium. I wonder why the cook didn’t pay more attention and get two steaks with the same thickness so they could be cooked the same. Also the butter topping was tasty but it slid all over the plate. My advice put it in a container like the ketchup. Other than that good experience and food
A beautiful place with a great view of the lake. Service was excellent. My only issue was that my Caesar salad did not seem fresh and crisp. Many pieces of the Romain were limp and wilted. My husband ordered the Cobb salad and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
Salmon overcooked and tasted of burnt grill marks. Asparagus limp, chewy on bottom, is not in season..no salad or bread included. Walleye and steak were ok. Server super courteous but probably staff stretched thin..no plates with shared appetizer and didn’t clear dinner plates at end. Waterfront seating always nice. Disappointed over all.
Really good view, good service, and beautiful view of Lake Erie! Great gluten free options.
We had a great dinner at Shoreline. Our food was very tasty. It was packed and super busy but the staff pulled it off as a well oiled machine to the customers’ eye. Our server Santino was on point and knowledgeable. My only issue was a man walking around with no shoes on and no one addressed it. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Shoreline to others!
Really great experience overall. Food was great and nicely priced. Staff was friendly, though they were understaffed it seemed. Would definitely return! Delicious basil drink
Had a great dinner here with hubby! Waitress Maria was great.
We frequently visit Erie to see family and are quite familiar with its restaurants. As has been the case in previous visits, our meals and service at the Shoreline were quite good; that's why we keep coming back. But we encountered something new during our most recent visit -- the hostess informed us we have 90 minutes to eat, drink and get out. I have seen this once or twice before on other restaurants' websites, but I have never been so informed as we were greeted; not exactly a warm welcome. One longer-standing complaint: The Shoreline does not provide bread or rolls with salads. Nor in our experience has it ever done so its roughly three-year existence. We know this when we choose to go the Shoreline but still look upon it as a bit cheap on its part. The Shoreline's location and views are very much as advertised, and reservations during the summer months are essential. It is more informal than the Bayfront Grille at the Sheraton and Oliver's at the Hampton Inn. All are usually fine choices in our experience, but we have not yet been told at the other two that the 90-minute clock is ticking upon arrival.
Food, drink, and view all consistent and well done! Basil Daisy w/ Aperol forward was perfect. Adam, our server, was kind, attentive, and super accommodating to my daughter managing celiac gluten allergies. Recommend highly 10 for 10. The sunset is about to be awesome…
Adam our server this night made the evening very pleasant taking very good care of our needs at our table to enjoy the wonderful shoreline of Lake Erie in Erie Pennsylvania. His attentiveness and pleasantness in personality made the dining experience exceptionally good. Would come back without any fail be sure to ask for Adam
Great service! Had the Erie burger, wasn't very good. Only like the sauce and the chips that came with it. My husband had the lobster roll and also said it was just 'eh'. Got a free dessert with a review. Had the ooey gooey dessert which was very yummy. Again, good service but didn't enjoy the food, besides dessert.
Nestled against the bank of the bay, this atmosphere was romantic and we saw a beautiful red sunset during our dinner
Great food and atmosphere. Service was great. View of the bay was beautiful. Recommended!!!
