“Best Indian restaurant in cranberry, wexford ,Allison park and gibsonia.Very friendly staff also a best option for non onion garlic food you just have to call ahead to make sure they prepare.”
“I recently hosted an alumni event here and if you're looking for a space to do something similar, or maybe gathering some friends and family to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, I'd strongly encourage you to give SIP Taproom consideration. Kevin is quite accommodating and very easy to work with. The laidback atmosphere, coupled with an excellent offering of local beers and quality wines from California and Oregon, make this a place that shouldn't be overlooked.”
“My 4-year-old sums it up best, "Mama, how can such a little place have so many yummy things?"I follow them on Facebook, where they post the special drinks for the month. I order from that menu almost exclusively because when you're going to BeanThru, it's to treat yo' self. The chillers are good, the lattes are good, the cookies are good, and the breakfast sandwiches satisfy. My 4 year old loves the kid size smoothie - he usually gets strawberry or mango. Check it out!”
“A Perfect Blend of Brews, music and Comfort!I recently had the pleasure of visiting Acrospire Brewing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and it exceeded all expectations. The service was exceptional, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. The caramel porter beer was a standout, offering a delightful blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. What truly set Acrospire Brewing apart was the live jazz performance that accompanied my visit. The harmonious tunes added an extra layer of enjoyment to the already fantastic experience. The vast seating options ensured that I could find a cozy spot to savor my beer while soaking in the live music. The comfortable atmosphere, paired with the excellent service and unique beer selection, makes Acrospire Brewing a must-visit destination in Pittsburgh. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or simply looking for a relaxing evening with great vibes, this brewery has it all. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable time.”
“Was looking for a new place to take the fam for my dad's birthday and stumbled across this place after a little research. It's a little outside of downtown Pittsburgh which is what we wanted because navigating and parking was easy ?As soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere. Super cool place and hadn't seen anything like it before. It gave a super cool vibe. I also put in a reservation for 11 and we ended up in a private room - didn't ask for it - but more than appreciated that we were kind of closed off in our own space ?Our server was really friendly and on top of everything...giving us details on specials, super on point with service in general, and overall gave an awesome experience. I wish I remembered his name to give a shout-out because I like to give credit where credit is due ?I ordered a full meal here - I will say the clam chowder was ok...not bad but nothing spectacular but I'm still giving 5 stars for everything else I stated above and the rest of the food I ordered. I also got shrimp wontons, which I wish I took a picture cause they were unique and texture was on point and flavor, especially the sauce was great. My main course was there cottage pie, their spin off shepherds pie but with a super flavorful gravy and shaved ribeye with mashed potatoes on top. Everyone at the table wanted it as soon as it arrived and it was awesome! I got a slice of chocolate cake to go which was also really good too ?I'd definitely come back for the atmosphere and to try more of their menu options because I don't think I'd be disappointed - Thank you for a great evening especially on my dad's birthday ?”
“The best meats and soups ever. You MUST try the lobster bisque. Best I ever tasted. Plus, when you heat it back up for leftovers, it stays thick. So good...yummy.”
“This is a fantastic location with some very kind staff. Delicious ice cream prepared quickly and served compassionately. Not many better ice cream places around. Churn can have higher prices than other ice cream places, but for the quality of ice cream, it is worth it.”
“I visited Il Pizzaiolo for the first time this weekend and was blown away by the decor and by the kindness of the wait staff! We were also personally greeted by who appeared to be the owner or manager which we appreciated. The food was also delicious!”
“What can I say about Dive Bar? Nice menu with tons of choices... no problem finding something to order. My go-to is the Poutine-ish bowl, tender short ribs, gravy and cheese curds over fresh cut fries... so very good!!!”
“I come here for lunch on occasion, usually a very busy store. but the staff works through the line of patrons quickly and give good service to each. For a subway the food is good.”
“Largely a run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant, but the quality of the food puts it above many local contemporaries. Everything I have ordered has been hot and well made, with ample portions for the prices. The restaurant itself was closed for dining for a number of years due to the pandemic, and it's still not a place I'd dine in at, since the dining room is pretty dingy and outdated, and basically seems like an afterthought for the aforementioned takeout business, which always seems quite busy. The service is pleasant, but seems a touch understaffed for demand, so expect your order will likely take longer than the the average Chinese takeout place, and you may be waiting a bit longer than the initial prediction. But for the overall enjoyability of the food, it seems worth it. Definitely a decent takeout option for the area.”
“Food is of high quality, no gristle in the meats, vegetables are fresh, preparation is perfect.Service is prompt and polite. This is really a take out place, only a couple of tables.Prices of course have gone up but the quantity and quality are still very good.”
“Amazing quality pizza. Very thick slices with a great amount of cheese and tons of crispy pepperoni. One of the best Sicilian's I've eaten. Got a large and had plenty of leftovers which were great reheated in the air fryer. Highly recommend. Only downside is there's only 3-4 parking spaces right off a main road so it's hard to back out during peak rush times (4-6).”
“First I'll say, the food was amazing! Very fresh and hand made. The crab Rangoon was for sure hand made instead of frozen boxed. I also had the Tom kah soup with noodles and veggies. It was a unique tom kah, surprisingly sweet (I also got a 0 spice which may have affected all they put into my soup) but tasted and felt like it was made from fresh coconut. I will for sure go back to try my other Thai favorites. No wait for seating either... around 5 on a Wednesday.”
“My kids love Frank's! My son lives by the buffalo chicken pizza, and my daughter loves the chicken tenders. Personally I think the buffalo chicken pizza is overrated but this is what Frank's are famous for. I do like their cheese or pepperoni pizzas though. They are very saucy and cheesy. Bread sticks are another regular menu option we get but beware they are so buttery that they often drip through the box. They're friendly and quick as well so bonus!”
“I never had a bad time or experience either, the food was amazing. Service was a little slow but yk lim workers.ambiance was nice. over all I think the others are not real no offense I've never had a bad time, and not even in complaint. I'm not saying this stuff to make the restaurant seem good, but it is the truth.”
“This place is one of...if not THE BEST restaurant in the area. Food was amazing with so many choices with such great textures and flavors melded together. Service here is impeccable and the ambiance is perfect. We will definitely be back for more if we get a reservation.”
“I grew up in Gibsonia, and moved into Squirrel Hill a decade ago. It makes me so happy to see a place like this open up, and bring a different type of food to the area. I went here with friends tonight, and was so impressed with everything. The service was great, the owner is so sweet, and I can not talk more highly of the food. This is a huge asset to the area and I wish them nothing but success.”
“I come from a Mexican family in California, so when I moved to Pittsburgh, I was deeply disappointed at the lack of good, authentic Mexican food. When I found this place, I rejoiced! The food is amazing: made with the authentic basics in mind, yet refined with originality. It really feels like home in all the best ways.”
“Beyond being some of the (if not the sole) best Italian food I have ever had, what stands out most about Dish Osteria is their commitment to true hospitality; we arrived early to have drinks at the bar, and from the start we were treated with care and true personal interest. The bartender was so insightful and walked us through the menu, answering any questions we might have so that we could order our dinner with ease (it was last Wednesday at 8PM— I forget his name, but please give him his flowers. He was amazing!). I had the Little Bird bourbon cocktail and absolutely loved it. This level of care continued as we moved to our table for dinner. Our waiter and host went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal, refreshing our bread without us having to ask (that homemade focaccia was dangerous— we couldn’t stop eating it!), suggesting wine pairings, and also allowing us to taste two options when we couldn’t choose. Every single dish we ordered was phenomenally crafted and delicious ; we ordered the Gamberi shrimp and grilled artichoke salad to start, followed by the short rib ragu gnocchi and rigatoni with smoked scamorza for our entrees (I will dream about both of these dishes for some time). For dessert, we had the lemon cello cheesecake, which was perfectly balanced with sweet and tangy flavors. Our waiter also provided us with a complimentary glass of moscato with our dessert. This was a phenomenal first experience at this restaurant and I cannot wait to come back. I’m also gifting a visit here to some of my friends for their anniversary and can’t wait for them to try it as well!”
“Very very good, small curated menu with lots of freshness. Very good service, alekhya was extremely sweet and gave good suggestions.Had a great time.Vegetarian options: Yes”
“Do yourself a favor and order the potatoes, they are crispy and perfectly seasoned. The bread is amazing as are the other Italian baked goods!Dietary restrictions: There are several baked goods labeled nut-free”
“This place is AMAZING! My mom and I are in town for a college tour, and many people were walking around with the ice cream so I suggested we give it a try. Immediately the two guys in there were delightful and very helpful and cheery. The atmosphere was so fun the moment we walked in. The flavors were amazing and I almost couldn’t choose between the Thin Mint and the Pittsburgh Pride. I ended up going with the latter. It is like brownie/oreo/cookie chunks and butterscotch. There might be another thing added. My mom got the pear flavor. We are both extremely satisfied with our choices. They did say that the flavors change up pretty often - for example, they’re getting ready for Blackberry Lemonade. But Pittsburgh Pride will always be available. So if you’re looking for a cute little dessert place after dinner, this is the place!”
“I had the oyster mushroom sandwich. I felt like they could have added more mushroom because the bun is very thick but it was still delicious. The plantains I could tell were a bit old however. The portion sizes are also a bit small. The sorrel drink I had was on point though. I definitely recommend this place I just think there's opportunity to improve.”
“best breakfast i’ve had in pgh! place was packed when we arrived but the line moves quickly. we had our orders taken within 10-15 minutes and food came shortly after. excellent service and AMAZING food & coffee. definitely will be ”
“Good Pakistani food. Good portions. Decent service. Sometimes I experience some of the management talking very loudly over the phone. I also think the music doesn't contribute to the ambiance.Vegetarian options: Very good paalak paneer and chana masala.Dietary restrictions: Halal Pakistani food.”
“I photographed Jen & Josh's wedding here and it was a fantastic experience. The location is second to none in Pittsburgh with its amazing views of the city, and the food and service are outstanding. It is a great location for photos as well. I highly recommend it!”
“A great hidden spot, you might miss it driving past but once you come you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it. Great seating, even more so now that they added a covered and heated exterior.”
“I got a Tres Leches cake for my husband’s birthday. I was looking for a Tres leches cake at the last moment and this amazing bakery had one on stock and it met my needs. Highly recommended for Mexican desserts ❤️ 10/10 for this one ?”
“They were super sweet and the music was too loud where I couldn't hear my friend talking across the table and she kindly turned down the music. I would highly recommend this little café!”
