This is one of my favorite dinner spots in Harrisburg for a night out. The atmosphere, food, service and drinks are all worth the trip. We typically like to get three appetizers so we can try everything. We had the grouger buns, octopus salad, and the mussels with fries. All of the dishes were delightfully prepared and cooked perfectly. The wine is great as well! I also ordered a mojito and the bartender hooked me up with a splash of watermelon and it was amazing!
Absolutely delicious food, cozy ambiance, and great service. Highly recommended the Caprese salad and Brava potatoes which were amazing.
We had a large somewhat challenging table of seven. The staff handled us very well. Service was top notch even though they were very busy. I got Spring pea filled agnolotti and a Caprese salad. Both dishes were fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
Great food, lovely staff and well attended even during covid. Menu is mostly Italian-based, with a variety of pizzas to choose from. We went with several appetizers and dessert and felt it was a good value
Brunch & cocktails were equally delicious. Cannot wait to go back. Our server was also super nice! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for brunch in Harrisburg.
I can't say enough great things about this small local-community restaurant. It was filled with mostly people from the area. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and assisted each other. The ambiance was homey and eclectic. They offered inside and outside dining. We had a table by the window so we could people watch in both areas :). The food was remarkable!!!! We shared the duck liver pate, which was a blend of sweet and savory (the best we have ever had); a beet and goat cheese salad (filled with yellow/red beets, oranges and an great orange dressing); I had the mussels with pommes frites (the broth on the mussels was again the best that I have ever had; my husband had the pappardelle with beef ragout-excellent; lastly we shared a creme brulee and homemade strawberry ice cream and a pot of French press coffee. Their wine list was small, but excellent choices. I had the super tuscan which was flavorful. Note: I have a gluten intolerance and they were very accommodating with food prep and guidance.
This place just wasn't for me. I found all of the food to be very dry and my pasta was room temperature at best. I think if you are someone who doesn't like sauces on your food this would be an option for you but to me everything was incredibly dry and I found myself reaching for my wine with each bite just for moisture. At this price point (considerably higher than other comparable options) these details matter to me. Also room temperature pasta is not forgivable.
Good looking place, good service, clean but the pizza is below expectations. Overpriced for the quality.
Found our neighborhood drink spot. Great cocktails and desserts, we'll be back for dinner. The small menu is always a good sign. The interior is well placed and the bartenders wait staff if always changing jazz records on the player. It's a small spot that feels genuine and comfortable. Very happy to find this
Fantastic food, outstanding wait staff (always ask is you're unsure of what wine pairs with your meal). Intimate, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Dress up, dress down. Everything works. Would have been 6 stars if that was a choice. Highly recommended.
A neighborhood gem that will introduce you to new food, but always has familiar favorites too. Great cocktails and a non-snobby wine selection, & vinyl on the turntable at all times.
What a wonderful place…and meal! The poster child for what I think a neighborhood bistro should be.My wedge salad was unique, super-refreshing and a great start to my evening. The short rib entree is probably the best preparation of a short rib I’ve ever had! The meat was so tender and juicy, the fat rendered away - just perfect! Loved the sweet potato accompaniment. FWIW, the Swiss chard was a bit on the cool side - not sure what happened here. Nonetheless, a great entree to welcome the first, frosty days of fall.Daniel did a great job helping me navigate the best dishes on the menu and the perfect wines for each. Love that they feature Old World wines.Great background music too on the old school, vinyl record turntable.Just a lovely evening. Thank you, Note.
We had a lovely time and basically stayed until close. Caitlin and Daniel were super kind and the food was delicious. We got to try a lot on the menu and nothing disappointed.
Note is always excellent, especially for connoisseurs of French cuisine! I've never had anything I didn't like here, but am especially a fan of their fall/winter offerings of rich soups and game meats.
We've been going to Note for years and I'm finally writing a long-overdue review for my favorite bistro. We were there yesterday for a family dinner, with delicious food, great drinks, and attentive service. This charming place is a Harrisburg gem.
