“This place has amazing food, I love their pizza and you can't beat the prices. The food is always hot and the staff are always very friendly! I don't drink so I can't comment on the alcohol selection or prices. But the workers definitely deserve a tip!“
“Been stopping by on Friday evenings for fish….the fish is absolutely the best and the portions are super! If you leave hungry…it’s your own fault! Stopped in on Tuesday for the shrimp special dinner. Shrimp were humongous! Quite a meal!!! Keep up the great food and great service! And bye the way…the waitresses are top notch!!!“
“My go to for new places is always a chicken salad sandwich, and I must say I give the flood city cafe the credit for having the best. The sandwich tasted homemade and the croissant was beyond crispy but also the right amount of fresh. The macaroni could use more cheese but also tasted very fresh and homemade. Lastly the ice coffee we got was a 10/10. I’ve tried a lot of coffee and yet again, this coffee would probably be one of my favorites I’ve ever tried. Definitely recommend stopping by. Great energy from staff and beautiful cafe.“
“?What can I say hasn't already been said about Sam's.? well I guess this it's my favorite place to go to to hear a live band. I've never heard of anybody having to turn it down. definitely rock and roll, Harley, atmosphere going on.great bartenders, great owners. mixed crowd, no drama. check it out!?Kid-friendliness: not for kids. it's a bar for Christs sake!Wheelchair accessibility: Nice entry ramp. Built strong like bull.Dietary restrictions: Do your diet at home, your out to have fun already!“
“A definite "local". And because it's a local the food and service is outstanding. Friday Fish Fry was great as was the calzone. Large selection of beer both craft and not. It's noise, brightly lit, not romantic but if you want real eating and watering place, this is it. You won't regret it“
“Another great family restaurant in Johnstown. This place has perfected their food in the 30+ years passing down from generations to generations. We order wings, salad and the Friday Haddock special. Everything was great. We will be back!“
“Dave and his family have taken such great care of this building. It's no longer smoking which I am okay with as a former smoker, but the original vintage ashtrays are still in pristine condition in the bathrooms brings back the nostalgia of my 20s ??? thanks again “
“I wanted to thank the owner for reaching out about the review i posted. This is what a business owner it supposed to do. when a customer has a bad experience.i could have handle it a better way by voicing my concerns at that time. We will definitely be giving this place a second chance because of how Patrick handle the review thank “
“We both had the soup flight for our first visit. It was delicious comfort food. The grilled cheese was on point.Kelley was our server and she was awesome! She was right on top of everything without being pushy.I went to tell someone how great the service was and the owner, Dana, came and greeted us. She was also a joy!We will be back!“
“It's so hard to pick a favorite menu item. My go-to is ALWAYS the twisted Hawaiian aloha pizza. I've never had a pizza that good before. The chicken philly(forget what they call it) is out of this world. Today we tried the Buffalo chicken breadsticks and OMG game changer!!! So good! The staff is great and the owner is so super nice! My 6 yr old is obsessed with the kids pizza - comes with fries and a Kool Aid drink. He loves having his "own meal". Thanks guys, keep it up!“
“The Steakhouse Special is phenomenal. Cooked to order, the 16-ounce carnivore's delight is truly special. I enjoyed the chicken and dumplings soup as a starter, then followed that with a great salad with a feta dressing. Onion rings were better than average, and the twice baked potato wasn't embarrassed to accompany the juicy steak. I will return and strongly suggest you make a visit when in the area.“
“Saw other great reviews online and decided to try it for dinner- we are glad we did! And a great start to celebrating my hubbys birtdhay!About hour and half from home it was worth the drive! We tried Margarita Pizza, Spinach Salad with grilled chicken and Greek Salad with steak ! Yum!!Variety of different food choices and atmosphere was great!Food presentation A+Taste A+Quality of ingredients A+Portions amazing A+I wish we would have be able to buy the bacon dressing to take home!!“
“As iconic as the floods of Johnstown, Murphys wings are a must have. For 30 plus years I have eaten and had libations at Murphys and I think every single time I was greeted by the owner. Not in many places does that happen. This is not a franchise, it stands for the hard work and dedication that this town was built on. You get the sense that you are back in the hey dey of the mills when you stop by as everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and unassuming. There is not a word I can say that describes Murphys but there aren't enough words to say how good it is.“
“I have to start out by saying, never judge a book by its cover is true, because this place isn't what it seems from the outside or inside at all. Lol! My MIL wanted to come here and eat based on what she heard (good things), so we came on out after she had surgery. The place is small, one side is the bar, the other side is the dining room and it's not huge either - but it's very very casual. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered "The Gobbler" and the bun itself was good enough to eat alone. I'm not sure what type they used, but it was sooo yummy! The Turkey was very good and thick, too. I opted for American cheese on it, and I think that made the whole sandwich come together. My son ordered salmon and he gobbled it right up and I am not even sure if he tasted it, lol! My daughter ordered the Steak Special ($30!) and my MIL got a sandwich also but I'm not sure what it was, but she also ordered onion rings and I stole a couple of those and they were delicious!!The server was sooo nice and she was so funny! I enjoyed her company and how attentive she was. I don't live here, but if I come visit again sometime, I'll come here again. I know she'll be back without us.“
“We went there one late evening and was pleasantly surprised. The buffet was great... Soups, salads, and fruits were yummy. Staff was amazing, so friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and they are open until 11pm, but the buffet closes at 9pm.“
“I loved this place ❤️ even the layout of the restaurant was cozy and friendly the service was very good. The food was just amazing ? you can tell the cook cared about his food. Everything we ate was homemade. I highly recommend this restaurant ?“
“My family visited for lunch on a weekday this week and it was very busy, but we still got a table (we were just going to eat in the park if we couldn't find a seat). Our food came quickly despite the busyness. The staff was friendly and helpful! My toddler got curious about the light switches by our table and switched their kitchen lights off and I didn't know ???♀️... they were very nice about it haha. I got a mushroom burger and finished it in less than 5 minutes. It was delicious! I've been telling everyone and we can't wait to go back.“
“Great place to get together with friends or family. The hand cut fries are especially good. The brisket is wonderful and the fish sandwich is very good as well.Bring your appetite. The portions are ample, and if you leave hungry, it's your own fault.Alexis is a very good server, checks back often. That may be because she's our Granddaughter.“
“Really cool older bar with separate resturant away from bar area. Really outanding service, good food, and nice people. Waitstaff seems to know a lot of folks, and really was on top of stuff. It's a place ro set, grab a drink, and have song good food and conversation. Well worth the trip.Kid-friendliness: At least on restaurant side.Parking: Ehhh, it's busy, gotta expect a bit if congestion, but not bad. I got a front spot. Just watch yourself pulling out.Wheelchair accessibility: I think there is a ramp. Doors are big.“
“Today, instead of cooking in this heat, we decided to try the Stromboli. No one told me that a medium could feed 4 people!! I ordered 2 mediums to go. OMG !! THEY WERE FANTASTIC. We had supper, and will have midnight snack , breakfast, AND lunch .. .. All for less than $15. I've never had better!! Again I can say I've never had ANYTHING there that I didn't like !!! Thank you Fifth Ave for making delicious food at an affordable price!! See you soon!!“
“I decided to give the restaurant a try as I didn't even know about it until recently. The service was great and the food( I highly recommend the meatloaf and Mac and cheese) was excellent. The portions were quite large and prices were cheaper than most. I'll definitely be returning.“
“This place was amazing. My best friend was in from out of town and we decided to just try somewhere new and we were not disappointed! Our server Brandy was fantastic, she made great suggestions, didn’t hesitate to help make tweaks to our food and drink order, and was very attentive and very pleasant and smiling. The food and drinks were phenomenal. The millionaires bacon was delicious and so were our brown sugar bourbon burgers…except we swapped the burger for chicken and it was amazing. I got sweet potato fries and it was paired with an amazing sauce on the side.No doubt, we will be back!!! This place is a must try!“
“Harrigan's was a pleasant surprise...we were looking for somewhere to go and saw the “Great Date” menu...this is a great value and the appetizer, entrée and dessert were excellent...regular menu is also very reasonable with a nice variety...service was excellent...Greater Johnstown folks need to patronize Harrigan's“
“I would like to thank The Crows Nest for letting us have a room for our annual get together for my memorial for my husband, Officer Lloyd Reed Jr, who was shot and killed in the line of duty. Their service to us was terrific! Our waitress was very good! The food was great, especially the chicken tenders, that went over well and quickly. So, if you are looking for a place to get together, I would recommend The Crows Nest! We definitely will do it there next year! Thank you, again! Rosemarie Reed“
“Very nice place to eat with a variety of entertainment including Pennsylvania Skill Games (Roughly 6-8 Machines by last calculation on my last visit. I ordered a stromboli for under $10.00, and I have to say it was really good. Highly recommend.Parking: Huge parkinglotWheelchair accessibility: Facility is wheelchair accessible“
“We held our son's post baptismal luncheon at The Boulevard in the Speak Easy space. Don is amazing to work with and his staff is so attentive. Our food was delicious and severed hot. We truly cannot thank Don and our server Lauren enough for going above and beyond for our family“
