Restaurantji's Johnstown guide: Where to find the ultimate Mexican flavors.
“I placed an order the other night for food on my nighshift at work. The food was done & ready at the time they specified. The cashier was friendly & place was clean & welcoming.I got a large beef burrito Supreme. I was pleasantly surprised on the amount of food given.Huge burrito, seperate container of rice & refried beans, then also a huge bag of chips & salsa. Food was excellent, fresh & hot. Salsa for the chips tasted great.Burrito was excellent, beef was tender & tasty.I will definitely be ordering from again.“
“They have most authentic street tacos in this area! The corn tortillas taste hand made, the cilantro/onions were finely diced, served with lime, and the carnita meat was amazing. It also happened to be Taco Tuesday so there was a discount. In the food court there was also food from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic so it was fun to sample the different Hispanic cultures all in one place. I feel like it’s such a hidden gem; I will definitely be back!“
“-I ordered tacos and a fountain drink. The tacos were SOOOOOO good. I haven't had tacos in forever. You can watch the staff making your food which was different for a fast food place, at least it was we to me, considering I don't get out much.- from where we sat, we could see underneath the front counter which was obviously lacking attention. It was honestly pretty filthy.-The bathroom was overall fairly clean.- So HEY! We liked the staff, we liked the food, the service, and the bathrooms were in satisfactory condition so we would go back. ?“
“This has to be the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area, and I would know being from Texas, the atmosphere is great and very cheerful and the service was excellent. The food is the best I have found in the area and they offer some authentic cuisine with a northern twist. The deserts are great as well. Highly recommend the drive to come here, I'm staying in Altoona and I will be back!“
