“Sovana Bistro in Newtown Square offers a delightful dining experience that seamlessly blends modern elegance with cozy comfort. Upon entering, the renovated ambiance exudes charm, making guests feel instantly at home. The attentive and warm staff further enhance the welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant visit from start to finish.During a bustling Saturday brunch/lunch, the restaurant remained consistently busy, a testament to its exceptional quality. Seated at a cozy two-seat table by the window, the ambiance was intimate and inviting. The culinary journey truly began with the Bread Board, featuring delectable focaccia accompanied by three irresistible spreads. While the mango mimosa lacked a mango flavor The wild boar pappardelle stole the show with its meaty sauce and perfectly cooked fresh pasta. The Sovana Double Burger, though its patties appeared to be from frozen, still impressed with its flavorful profile, complemented by the indulgent raclette cheese. The accompanying fries, while tasty, could have benefited from a touch more crispiness. For dessert, the Liquid Center Butterscotch Cake provided a memorable finale, its luscious butterscotch filling mesmerizing to behold.Overall, Sovana Bistro delivered a stellar five-star experience, leaving guests eager to return. With its combination of exceptional cuisine, inviting ambiance, and attentive service, it's a culinary gem worth revisiting time and time again.”
“My husband and I went for dinner and will be back soon. Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere. From start to finish the starters, entrées, and desserts were delicious. The drinks were well balanced and beautifully made, from the cocktails to the espresso with perfect crema. Very much looking forward to future visits!”
“I’m an expat from England who grew up with an Indian takeaway within walking distance wherever I lived. This does not make me an expert but I’m so delighted that Kabab & Curry are pretty much on my doorstep. This food is amazing. I literally took a break from mouthfuls of chicken kadai and samosas to write this review. Spot on. Fantastic grub.”
“Malin's is always a treat! We got a cheesesteak, an Italian sub, and a cheeseburger. The cheesesteak was amazing as usual. The sub was the best Italian sub I've had in a very long time - fresh ingredients, crispy lettuce, the right amount of seasonings! The cheeseburger left a little to be desired. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't up to par with the rest of the food. The staff is always pleasant, whether on the phone or in the store. Overall, this is one of the best deli/sub shops arounds.Parking: Parking lot can be a tight squeeze to get in and out of. I'd suggest parking in the side lot. It's much easier to navigate.”
“Spoke with Romeo last week after trying his food for the first time about doing wings and Mac for my daughter's 5th birthday. Was an absolute hit. The Jalapeño Lime wings are a must. He takes pride in what he serves and it shows in the quality of food.”
“I was here for a baby shower, and it was a great time! The food was spectacular, and all the servers were super friendly and attentive.Wheelchair accessibility: It was a bit tight in the building and getting through the doors, but my grandmother was able to maneuver with her walker without issue.”
“Met a group of friends here, and all raved about how good the food was! Coffee was also excellent and the barista tweaked it just to my liking. My only complaint—the digital menu’s font is tiny! Better to read the menu online on your phone.Parking: I always park at the Kennett square garage. Easy to access downtown, clean, and safe.”
“We always love coming to this spot, Philly cheesesteak mayo and ketchup always perfection along with the stacked turkey fococcia sandwich and fries are amazing!!!”
“I was visiting from out of town and was looking forward to some good pizza. I wasn't disappointed! The mushrooms were particularly good, but this area is the mushroom capital of the world, so that makes sense. The guy running the place was friendly and funny. Thank you!”
“It's our new go to for good pizza. Today we tried the white pizza with ricotta. When we got it home, I added a little pesto. The combo was really good.It may not be for everyone, but my Wife and I do like the crispy crust that when you pick up a slice and give it a fold, the tip of the crust doesn't sag.Worth a try.”

“Can't overstate much we loved dining here. The food was exceptional - creative, fresh and delicious. The owners are so kind and involved and clearly put their heart into all they do. Every bite was fantastic but we especially loved the lamb - menu is seasonal, local and meticulously prepared. Highly highly recommend and we hope to return very soon.”
“Fantastic ice cream and in both the standard flavors but also in some that push you out of your ice cream comfort zone including corn. And you gotta live an ice cream place with a chili powder shaker! We have been here several times and the staff is very nice and the ice cream is amazing! This is a cute local establishment that is a short walk away from the restaurants on Main Street! Highly recommend to anyone!”
“Very relaxing and laid back vibe on this particular Friday evening. Had a couple excellent beers and listened to some great classic music. Nice crowd. We'll be back!”
“Great customer service. I was greeted with a warm welcome an hour before close, food was great, relaxing atmosphere. My server was an absolute sweetheart and helpful with the menu (I’m new to the cuisine). I even grabbed an entree to go for tomorrow’s meal. I shall return!”
“Great coffee with an awesome atmosphere! Staff are always super nice and quite possibly the best coffee in Delaware.Parking: Paid parking lot right across the street. Very limited free parking behind the store.”
“This was my first time, and it was a great experience. My steak was cooked to perfection! We definitely picked the right time to show up. It was fairly quiet, and the server was great!!”
“If you haven't been...go. The students in this program work hard and are so attentive. This is a full dining experience. You get all the forks all the knives, all the glasses and palette For fun, if listed on menu, get the table side nitrogen ice cream added...it was worth it for the fun of it.”
“Stopped in to grab a cup of coffee and was pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. Their cold foam and breakfast sandwiches were amazing! I will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free optionsParking: Easy parking in front of the building. There is a drive thru as well”
“A solid ramen spot has been one of the most surprising finds in Newark. Ramen Kumamoto offers a slurp-tastic oasis for noodle enthusiasts and broth aficionados alike. With its good service and cozy dining space, this ramen shop proves that great things sometimes appear in the most unlikely of places.Kicking off our culinary escapade, the Charshu Onigiri and Pork Bun set the stage. The onigiri, a triangle of joy stuffed with charshu, was a hands-on delight, while the pork bun was a pillowy cloud of happiness, complemented by a kick of spicy mayo that whispered sweet nothings to our taste buds.Diving into the heart of the menu, the Miso Ramen was a bowl of soul-warming comfort. The broth, a harmonious marriage of pork and chicken, embraced the miso paste like long-lost lovers reunited. Swimming within this savory sea were wavy egg noodles, well-cooked charshu, kikurage, menma, bean sprouts, scallions, sesame seeds, and a seasoned egg that was like the sun on a cloudy day. Each spoonful was a testament to the art of ramen-making, proving that when it comes to broth, Ramen Kumamoto doesn't just play in the kiddie pool--they're diving deep. Then there was the Mayu Ramen, a darker, moodier cousin with its natural heritage Berkshire pork bone broth, seductively swirled with mayu--a dark roasted leek with garlic oil and a depth of flavor that added a mysterious allure to each bite. The thin straight noodles were the perfect vessel for this rich, complex broth accompanied by charshu, red ginger, kikurage, menma, bean sprouts, scallions, and a seasoned egg that completed the ensemble. It was a bowl that not only satisfied hunger but sparked curiosity, each ingredient whispering secrets of flavor waiting to be discovered. While the compact dining room of Ramen Kumamoto might suggest a limited experience, the reality couldn't be further from the truth. This ramen shop serves up bowls brimming with soul, flavor, and a touch of whimsy, making it a must-visit for anyone that finds themselves in the area for any reason at all.In the culinary narrative of Delaware, Ramen Kumamoto stands as a chapter not to be missed. It's a place where the broth flows rich and deep, and every noodle tells a story. So, if your journey finds you craving warmth, comfort, and a little noodle nirvana, make your way to Ramen Kumamoto. It's a slurp-worthy saga you'll want to experience over and over again.”
“The food was excellent and the staff was so welcoming! Their food reminded me of many of the dishes I would eat growing up; the ingredients were fresh and everything was so delicious. If you love good quality and authentic middle eastern cuisine, this place is absolutely worth it!”
“Our food was so good we had to come back again and make sure. We talked with owner who was friendly and helpful. We love to support a local business and would highly recommend this to everyone.”
“Some of the best barbecue I've ever had in cecil County. It is truly one of the only authentic soul food experiences around. Not only is their BBQ delicious, their sides are just as amazing! You can tell how much passion goes into what they do. Even down to picking the order up, you feel welcomed with the beautiful R&B music playing while you wait. It's definitely a favorite of mine, and definitely somewhere I will be returning.”
“Awesome gem in the heart of Kennett Square. On par with West Chester za and that's saying a LOT! As soon as I walked in the door and saw the 50 lbs bags of Antimo Caputo, I knew this pizza was no joke. Order early so you're not disappointed.”
“Best Mexican food around hands down .. very fast and fresh .. great customer service Spanish and English is spoken so communication is easy .. highly recommend from creditable foodie ..”
“Excellent pizza! Didn't want to judge too quickly so decided to wait until we ordered again. This time, it was just as good and the service was just as helpful and friendly. I am gluten free, (not celiac) so we gave theirs a shot along with the regular ones we ordered. All I can say is WOW! I have tried so many places in the area hoping to find a GF crust that resembles 'real' pizza, and Stone Mill has figured it out! I asked if it was cauliflower crust or a blend, and the person answering the phone happily gave us the ingredients of what it is made from, without sounding annoyed at the time it took to explain. The crust is great, not pre-made and thankfully not cauliflower. It's not paper thin and came out well done with that charred look and wood fire taste like original crust has. But most importantly, it was delicious. It's not a tiny little 10" crust, or a personal size - it's the same size as all the others. (I was so excited when I saw it I dove right in without taking a picture!) The whole experience, from the politeness when ordering on the phone, to the finished products were great. It's amazing how many places make it sound like they are doing you the favor when they take an order. Great pizza and great service. This is the only place we will order from going forward.”
“I Really enjoy this place the tacos here are very delicious I would definitely recommend them. I think they have a lot of unique flavors which are soooooo good my favorite flavor is Cookie Monster 10/10 would recommend. “Perfect place to pop into in the middle of a food desert for a burger or quick pizza. They do have a gluten free pizza.Dietary restrictions: They had a very acceptable gluten-free pizza.”
