“Sovana Bistro is a great venue for a small party. I was there years ago for a bridal shower and recently for a baby shower. The private room we were in was comfortable and bright even on a rainy day. Guests were seated at long tables, and food was on a buffet table.”
“I was visiting from out of town and was looking forward to some good pizza. I wasn't disappointed! The mushrooms were particularly good, but this area is the mushroom capital of the world, so that makes sense. The guy running the place was friendly and funny. Thank you!”
“The restaurant is a quaint cafe hidden between a few shops. It has amazing food that really surprised me on how well the quality was. Their dine in options have booths, tables, or window seating and their takeout offered prepared foods such as spanikopita and small cakes. They offer a complete menu and waiting services. I recommend the souvlaki platter with cucumbers on the side to dip into the tzatziki that comes with the platter. My only small complaint is the choice of modern american pop music instead of Greek music to match the atmosphere. Other than that, the place is perfect for small dates or a pit stop while walking around town, or even settling down for a full dinner.”
“First time visit, all the food that came out the kitchen looked so good! We ordered the calabrian sandwich, flat bread and trio dip. And it was all so amazing. The server was incredibly attentive and so kind!”
“Can't overstate much we loved dining here. The food was exceptional - creative, fresh and delicious. The owners are so kind and involved and clearly put their heart into all they do. Every bite was fantastic but we especially loved the lamb - menu is seasonal, local and meticulously prepared. Highly highly recommend and we hope to return very soon.”
“I enjoyed the café experience. The food, service, and atmosphere of Longwood made the entire night perfect. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking to have a quick bite to eat while taking in the views of Longwood.”
“Awesome gem in the heart of Kennett Square. On par with West Chester za and that's saying a LOT! As soon as I walked in the door and saw the 50 lbs bags of Antimo Caputo, I knew this pizza was no joke. Order early so you're not disappointed.”
“Phenomenal food made by great people. The ingredients in my burger were fresh too. Also one of the few spots that still have curly fries. Best burger I've had in a while and will definitely be back.”
“Great quality food! The Mexican eggs were fire! Had the chalupas, rice, beans and fish tacos and all were excellent. Don't be fooled by the outside or the blue collar decor, the food is authentic and tasty!”
“We tried Korean food for the first time here and this place was excellent. What a cool addition to the Kennett community. The food was great and a hit with our kids too. We’ll definitely be back. It was great to try something new. It’s a welcome and authentic addition to downtown Kennett.”
“The employees are always super nice and the hoagies are ?! Part of the reason I go there is because I work a few doors down, but it’s mostly because of the consistency of the food and service :)”
“Candace and Taste of Puebla catered our after wedding guest picnic in KSQ. The out of town guests raved about the great food and how it was the best Mexican they’d had. Candace was very accommodating and great to work with. Highly recommend for a great meal at a reasonable price!”
“We had a great Saturday morning breakfast at Piccola Venezia. Seating was good, with multiple spacious options available on both sides of the restaurant. We enjoyed savory crepes -- one with custom ingredients then other from the menu -- but also considered the extensive sandwich selection that is available for breakfast. Quality of food and service was excellent.”
“It’s been a while since we have been here as the first time was ok. Palladium. And Snake Eyes were very good. Palladium is a keeper. Love the live music. You need more.”
“A unique venue for you and 10 closest friends. The reservation wait time is famously long - ours was nearly one year - but the food and service is a rare experience worth the wait. Ask for the recommended wine pairings and purchase those to bring along; they put much thought into the pairings.”
