First time here since moving to Lancaster and definitely won't be our last. We ordered the Doro Tib, Special Kitfo, Yedifin Misir Alicha Wet and beef sambusas for takeout and everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The owners are lovely people and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend, next time I hope to come and eat at the restaurant.
This was a very interesting exposure to Ethiopian cuisine. There were plenty of vegan and gluten free options. I was not aware when we went that the food was meant to be shared or that you eat it with you hands; you pick up the food with a kind of bread called teff. The owner was extremely kind and open about talking about Ethiopian customs. We are really glad that we took the time to try something new. We purchased a bottle of the homemade honey wine.
