Checkers Bistro

Checkers has been a solid restaurant with deliciously prepared menu items and well crafted cocktails. With Covid the hours of operation unfortunately had to be greatly reduced. We ate there last night March 31, 2021, just for 4 days before the Governor will be increasing occupancy to 75% and allowing bars to open. My boyfriend's favorite restaurant in Lancaster is Checkers Bistro. As a result, I was very excited for him to take me there for a Friday date night! Due to the pandemic, we were unable to dine indoors, but were able to order take out. According to my boyfriend, the menu was very different than normal, with fewer selections. Checkers is one of my Lancaster favorites. I go here when my parents come to town, for my birthday, and even to celebrate when I bought a new house! Can't get enough of the cauliflower and bolognese and risotto cakes when they are on the menu! The menu does change up from time to time which is great because you have an opportunity to try more delicious food! Portions aren't huge, but I wouldn't say anything is overpriced. It's a perfect amount for what I want for my meal.
