“Gateau Monique has some of the best baked goods I've ever had. The Pear/Elderflower scone I had was so delicious. The flavor was subtle but that was one of the freshest scones I've we had! And the sausage/potato pastry I also had was so delicious and still warm.They couldn't keep enough food out. It sold so fast they needed to constantly bring more out, and for good reason! I would definitely go back!”

“After asking a local friend where were the best place to get crabs from in the Hanover surrounding areas she recommended crabby Scott's. Not only were the crabs affordable considering the time of season but they were absolutely spot on delicious as I remember hot Maryland steamed crabs should be! Now I know why this is a local favorite”

“The pizza here is excellent. The cheese steaks are better. And my favorite meal is the salmon with lump crab meat. If you like fish you gotta try it. It's so good. I gave 5 stars because this place deserves it. Now the pasta meals are hot or miss. Anything with noodle I personally believe. My mom and dad recently tried the pasta and didn't like it either. Lacks flavor. Their other meals are very good.”

“They let us hold a Save the Pool meeting here on several occasions! The people are super nice and friendly! I just had a milkshake and mozzarella sticks but they were delish. They accomodated me by making my chocolate milkshake the old-fashioned way - vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. Very upbeat mom & pop style place!”

“This is my second time trying The Mexican Food Truck… absolutely delicious!They’re located in Littlestown, PA but will some times make a stop in Fairfield, Pa. Which is a little closer to home for me.I got their steak burrito with a side of beans and rice. Now, normally I’m not a huge red sauce fan. I prefer green sauce. But they make their own red sauce and it’s FANTASTIC!! Beans are flavorful and not overly salty (happens sometimes at other restaurants, but they know their flavor ratios!) and the rice is cooked perfectly!Definitely some of the most authentic Mexican food you can get around here!!”

“Ordered the NoBready Bowls last Tuesday Sept 26 early afternoon and it was prepared really well! Both bowls were filled to the brim. I was pleasantly surprised so Kudos to whomever prepared our meals. During this time there was also a promotion for a free footlong and we got to avail it. Sub was made very well, all ingredients packed and prepped well! Again, thank you so much to whomever prepared our meal (we ordered the same NoBready Bowls last month but the quality was not as good as this week’s order).Unfortunately, the receipt got soaked with the sauce seeping from the sub so we were not able to retrieve the feedback link/code.Once again thank you to whomever prepped our meal! You did a wonderful job and you provided quality service! “I was in the drive thru on 11/21 around 3pm getting my child there after school nuggets. The young man at the food window in the drive thru was thoughtful enough to check the happy meal before handing me it and discovered there were no fries in it and had it corrected. The attention to detail to check before just handing it to me assuming it was right was awesome and much appreciated, my little one loves mcdonalds fries and would have been really upset to get a happy meal with no fries.This store always has good food and the staff is friendly and the line moves at an appropriate pace.”

“I eat here just about every week. The jerk island bowl with chicken is AMAZING! It is something I could never get tired of. The blackened grilled chicken Caesar salad is also amazing, along with the chicken cheesesteak sub, smash tacos, fries, etc. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. The prices are reasonable, the staff/owners are wonderful, and the food is the best in town. What more could you ask for!? TRY IT!!”

“This was our first time here, and we were thoroughly impressed.We were greeted at the door by a smell of cleaning product which makes you feel good about how well a place is kept up. The interior was trendy and well lit. The place was very clean and organized.The server was tremendous. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when it came to choosing our entrees.The food was the show stopper. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and well crafted on the plate. “Delicious, fresh homemade food. Everything was so good and our server Billie Jo was so warm and friendly and described all the special dishes in a way that made you want to try them all. I got the Maryland crab soup, the chicken salad sandwich, a delicious sprout salad with cranberries, pecans, and house made balsamic vinaigrette, and we split a slice of cheesecake and raspberry chocolate chip bread pudding. Everything was fantastic and we are definitely coming back!”

“(Mcsherrystown location) First time and won't be the last. Ordered an iced caramel coffee with their breakfast sandwich. The coffee was the best I have had locally. My partner ordered a hot late and also said it was delicious. The sandwich included scrambled egg, bacon, cheese, and Chick-fil-A sauce. Umm, can you say genius? So tasty! Service was pretty quick even with a constant flow of customers. Ambiance had a play area for kids and people catching up over coffee. Hopefully more quiet during the week if you want to work remotely. Everyone seemed to be having a great time!”

“First time here. Tried all 4 current flavors of the whole bean coffee. Rich flavor and good coffee. Would love to see more flavor options. Shop itself is easy to get to, adequate parking, and comfortable inside with limited seating. Employees were very helpful and pleasant. Per shop employee, Whole bean only available at this location. Ground versions available at other location.”

“The food here is always great and very affordable. Whether you eat in or take out, it is always fresh and delicious. I never had anything that I didn't like. The staff and ownership are very friendly and attentive. Last night we also got to enjoy our waitress singing as well. What a beautiful voice, very enjoyable even if I didn't understand a word! “Really cute spot. Nice deck with booths and tables that were decorated for Valentine’s Day. Easy to find and easy going people. The prices were really great. Especially for homemade onion rings and fresh cut fries. We tried the Cheesesteak Flip and it was so big we had plenty of leftovers. The wings were a nice size and all of the food came out relatively quick considering how much carryout was poppin. Will be back!”

“During Lent Season, we frequent Big Mike's Crabhouse on a Friday, typically late afternoon. We try to beat the crowd, as this restaurant is not that big, but the seafood is absolutely delicious! Service is always excellent!!!! Big Mike's is a very relaxed atmosphere! They are a BYOB, so you can bring your favorite adult beverages if you choose to do so!!! If you choose to have an entree, but do not wish to have the sides, they will adjust the price! I love their cod fish (2 pieces), but don't always want the French fries, etc., they will serve you just the fish and adjust your bill accordingly. The pound of shrimp is always cooked to perfection, we have our shrimp served with melted butter and cocktail sauce, so delicious!!! If you're in Hanover and love seafood, stop by!!!!”
