“My wife and I stopped in over the weekend and enjoyed it. Kester's is a great local bar. It's been around forever and never changes, and that's a good thing. They have a full bar up front and a large room with tables in the back. There is a patio and a few tables in the rear outside. They serve shots, mixed drinks and beer and they have snacks like chips etc. The bartender is very friendly. It's very clean including the restrooms. It is a smoking bar. They have off street parking. The prices are very fair.”

“Went here for the first time in several years. Food was amazing! My wife had the penne pasta with olive oil and garlic and it was absolutely delicious. I had crab cakes with baked potato and french onion soup. The crab cakes were the best I have ever had. The baked potato was cooked to perfection and the French onion soup was to die for! Our daughter raved about the panko shrimp also. Others in the group that went with us all said the same thing the food was amazing. They even had a flatbread pagach because it was a Friday in Lent. Highly recommend this place. If you haven't been there in several months or longer by all means give them another shot because they are fantastic!”

I got their burger and that was the best burger I've had from a restaurant/pub IN AWHILE. the fries were amazing too and even after the server was very busy, she still gave us excellent service and got our food out very quickly. The waitresses and bartenders were attentive and we really felt Welcome. “By far best pizza in the back mountain, and quite possibly the best Sicilian in NEPA. The General Tso’s pizza is excellent and don’t sleep on their wings either. All good stuff!”

“A most charming stroll down memory lane. Lots of neat look-sees here and old fashioned candies. They do lots of ice cream orders and the ambiance is worth a drive there. The owner is so friendly and even uses the old time rolling ladder to reach those high up treats. If my kids were little, I would definitely inquire about a birthday party there. I found BROADWAY LICORICE ROLLS and was transported back to 1976. Thanks to all the kind workers at Ballyhoo's.”

“Authentic Mexican food — SO fresh! The salsa is amazing and there is a big variety of tacos prepared with traditional Mexican ingredients. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had several questions about some items on the menu I was unfamiliar with- I learned a lot! Portion sizes are very generous -including the $7 Happy Hour Margaritas, which are made with fresh squeezed lime juice. No mixers here! My husband’s comment when we first tasted our food: “they definitely don’t take short cuts here”. This is a great addition to downtown WB - can’t wait to go back!”

“Traveled through the area and got takeout based on the Google reviews, and we were not disappointed. Online ordering was so convenient, pickup was fast and easy, and the staff were very friendly. The chimichangas were absolutely delicious. We got them fried with chicken. We also got the 3 combo with enchiladas and tacos and preferred the chicken enchiladas. Our order came with a ton of chips and delicious salsa. I'm so glad we found this gem ? also so affordable! We will be back!”

“This place is very good! I was told this place was Uruguayan and I was looking for some nice food in the area. I myself am from Uruguay and was curious to see if the meals would taste like authentic Uruguayan food. The quality of the food is pretty good, but I wouldn’t say all of the tapas resemble that Uruguayan flavor (such as the chorizo, which was pretty good, but definitely not Uruguayan flavor-wise). The milanesa, however, was extremely good, and close to what it would taste like in my country. But trust you can’t leave this place without getting dessert- I think the tiramisu could be my last meal on earth, no problem. I had the chance to speak to the chef as well, and she was very sweet! The place is small but cozy, has private parking, the service is great, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!”

“We were staying at a hotel near Pittston on our way back to Canada Sunday night and decided to order from Mama's Thai Cuisine, having read all the great reviews posted. Well, it did not disappoint! We loved everything we ordered: the dumplings, shrimp rolls, pad Thai and green curry. The servings were so plentiful that I had leftovers for breakfast. Many thanks for this wonderful meal!”
