“The Crossbow is a great atmosphere to have some food, some drinks, and relax. The bartenders are all very friendly and prompt. The owners put their money into the business to better accommodate the customers. Brand new bathrooms in the bar side, and new renovations were done to the bowling side as well. Prices for food and drink are great! It’s a drama free establishment, and I highly recommend it to anyone!”
“Lived on Koehler Ave in the 70s. I now live in Tennessee and would give anything to have a warm, fresh out of your oven kiffle! Best bakery then and I’m sure best bakery ever!”
“This is a great little coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Butler. It's cozy little nooks everywhere makes it feel comfy! The owners and team always delivery fresh delicious coffees and teas!”
“Easily the best pizza in Butler! I work in the area and I jave tried a plethora of pizzerias in the area and was dissatisfied but Tani's never disappointments. Friendly staff and very clean place as well. Excellent calzones as well! I recommend this place to everybody in the area.”
“The soft serve and ice cream are what they're known for, but it's also a very cozy old school diner with homemade dishes. You can tell it's a favorite for locals who want an unfussy warm meal made with care! We were tired after a long day of travel and we were glad to find a place where we could quickly get a bite to eat. We ordered the crispy chicken salad, the fried cheese bites (half spicy, half regular), and the chicken parmigiana pasta that comes with salad. The salad and the pasta each came with a canned drink. The portions were good and we did not leave hungry. The servers and staff were very attentive and friendly. It was just what I would expect! They were generous with the ice cream and soft serve and even though we were full from dinner, we couldn't help but indulge.”
“Me and my dog, Ash visited this morning. I got one of the best smoothies I've ever had, banana/blueberry and they treated my lil dog like a king. They gave him real ice cream and served him.I appreciate the ”
“Fantastic gem in downtown Butler. If you're a gear head or just looking for a cool place to eat, this is it! Fantastic experience and food all around. Definitely making this a new spot.”
“Coffee is mostly good. Coming from a craft coffee shop in Pittsburgh, I wish they didn't use Monin syrups. For my nondairy friends out there, skip the oat milk and go for soy (the oat milk is truly terrible but the soy milk has a delicious creaminess for iced lattes)”
“I normally go to Cummings on route 68. This was the first time I stopped in at this location. The coffee is just as amazing as every other location! They always have nice employees but Tessa is the absolute best!”
“Well prepared breakfast that came quickly. My waitress was very friendly and the breakfast sandwich was delicious. I only wish I could have gotten onto their WiFi but that's not a deal breaker. If my project in the area goes through I'll be back.”
“Our coffee club chose this place this past week and it was great. Service was good and the food was good. We had about 12 people and we took a couple of the tables. Great little coffee shop. Could use a more visible sign to see it from route 8.Parking: Large gravel parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Cute kids area.”
“Very well done, highly recommend the calzones. Staff was friendly and attentive to the substitutions we made. Friendly service good flavor. Could eat the pizza all.dayblong.”
“Love the ice cream the staff is consistent on how they make everything each visit. I love the chairs in the back! Keeps old school charm and comfortable to sit and enjoy a treat.”
“I rarely post reviews but grabbed some takeout on a whim and everything was the best bbq I've had in the area. If you like bark, they do it right! Pork, brisket, and even sausage were fantastic. Corn bread, slaw and beans for the win too. The only negative was 3 tiny chicken tenders in the order for my child but was ok as she now realizes she likes bbq. We will definitely be back to this local gem!”
“Expensive as hell...$9 for a Large strawberry milkshake, wasn't the best milkshake I'd ever had unfortunately but you'll have that, was still good”
“Highest quality Chinese food in the Butler PA area. I had spring rolls, hot and sour soup, and the Mala Spicy Chicken with fried rice. I was surprised, everything tasted great! The hot and sour soup was actually spicy, the chicken dish tasted wonderful and was made with white chicken meat, and lots of vegetables. I will be going back!”
“Stopped in for the first time today to get some ice cream. I also got a hot dog and both were delicious!! The shop had great atmosphere and friendly employees as well. Can’t wait to come back and try more flavors.”
“What a hidden Gem! Absolutely loved it here. Fantastic drinks, and art! If you love Harry Potter you gotta stop here. Get the Butter Beer Late! Support this awesome local business!!!”
“Remember, they are a cash only restaurant but so worth a trip. The pancakes are so big and fluffy, you only need 1 or 2. I loved the grilled chicken sandwich and delicious home fries. My son said his club sandwich was also yummy. Our server was great too. We will be back soon.”
“I had breakfast there, it's a family style place with good food, They sign on the door says they open at 6am and close at 2 pm most days. It was slow when I was there and my breakfast was served quickly and by friendly staff. Just a good old fashion dinner. Where you go sir down and have a good homestyle meal. And catch up with old friends. Also are having a benift dinner ( Ithink spaghetti) For a 4 year old who needs a diabetic service dog. 10.00 a plate I think in within the next 2 months of today 2/23/24.”
“Stop to get cupcakes for my grandkids birthday party the cupcakes were absolutely out of this world everything looked absolutely delicious at this place definitely go back and I would advise anyone that goes there to Butler to stop ”
“Drinks were needed and appreciated, The patrons were fun and the bartender was sassy and kept the jungle reigned in. Always a good time when Barbie is pouring and running the bar”
“Second time trying it. First time ate in we tried different pasta dishes. I am not a huge pasta fan so don’t hold my opinion against them. I felt the alfredo sauce lacked flavor. Son said his chicken parmigiana was good but wasn’t his favorite. Tonight we tried a pizza. I will definitely say we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Pizza we will atleast be back for. Maybe even try a calzone or Stromboli next time. Employees extremely nice both times have been in even though they where extremely busy.”
“Food was excellent and fairly portioned, chili it delicious! But Kimmy made our experience she’s very personable and catering, most definitely would go back again!”
“Although it was packed with baseball/softball teams, it was well worth the wait. I got a chocolate milkshake and my little one got a scoop of rainbow sherbet in a cake cone and they were both fantastic. Their menu and available ice cream list is expansive! They have so many delicious flavors of ice creams and sherbets to choose from. Great prices as well which is a plus in todays world/economy. Will totally be back!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!”
“Friendly staff even when under pressure. Cant stand feeling like im an inconvenience when trying to order. Havent gotten that feeling once at Supremo's. Plus the food is awesome.”
“We ordered what they had on special...raclette and crab cakes for apps...beef tips, osso bucco (veal shank), rack of lamb, chilian sea bass (with lemon and capers). I tried them all and the osso bucco and chilian sea bass were my favorites. For dessert we had peach and strawberry rhubarb cobbler. They book a few months out...3-4...but it is well worth the European style experience.”
“The flavors were so good. The noodles were very soft. The bubble tea was a fun and delicious surprise. I want to get back and try the curries.Vegetarian options: Tofu/vegetable options for protein”
“This is a great little bakery shop in Saxonburg. Their bakery items are all delicious, and they made us a beautiful cookie tray for the holidays! I highly recommend getting your baked goods here!”
“Thank you Debbie for the kiffles and cinnamon rolls. They taste just like they did in the 70's, when my great uncle would bring them to us kids every Sunday.”
