Nothing is fancy about Mama Lena's. Just good food. I discovered this spot during Covid and have been a customer ever since. Love the gnocchi. Portion sizes are large and the staff really seems to care. Hadn't tried the pizza until recently and it was very good. In some ways it feels like I'm in the kitchen.

I’m a fan. We stopped by last night to pick up a white pizza and a Mediterranean salad. Upon entering, we were greeted by someone who asked us how our day was going. I know this sounds basic, but making customers feel welcome upon entering is super important and this place recognizes that. The food was also stellar. I stopped by this place before a show at the Roxian and ordered the best buffalo chicken stromboli I've had in my life. It was gigantic, had dippin' ranch and extra sauce included, and was only $16. Additionally, it was ready for pick-up in about 20 minutes in the middle of dinner rush. My buddy got a gyro -- also large, delicious, and ridiculously low-priced for the quantity and quality. I'll be making regular pilgrimages to this spot from now on.
