“We were first timers at this hidden gem in Mt. Holly. The menu is varied with specials available on the weekend. The special crab appetizer and pork chops were delicious. Service was excellent and atmosphere casual, inviting and fun.”
“A gas station place has no right to be this amazing!!! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and for 11$, you get a bunch of chicken fries and a big biscuit. If I'm in the area again I'm for sure coming back!”
“What a pleasure to find this place. We love their frozen takeout pizza and pizza rolls. They use high quality ingredients, and you can actually pronounce them! So nice to see them using great ingredients for their products, and it shows. We stop by regularly when we want a good pizza to stash for later. Service and atmosphere are both pleasant, what you would expect from a good pizza shop. We always look forward to our next visit, highly recommend!”
“My husband and I ate here on a Saturday afternoon. They weren't busy at the time at the bar but soon started to fill up. The bartender was great! She greeted us right away and got our drink order. We ordered the hot garlic wings and white chicken chili (soup of the day), and both were delicious. Overall great vibes! I even bought their long sleeve shirt with their logo.”
“Exactly what I imagine Caribbean food to be like. Flavorful, different. Falling off the bone. They do that thing where they leave the bones in, but cut through like they are not there, so you end up with a lot of bone fragments, at least in some dishes. Very similar to what I had in Dominican ”
“Great stuff, great service. But they really, really need to update their payment system so that customers paying with a credit card can tip. It's really awful for employees and customers if only cash tips can be left.”
“I’ve traveled all over the country and have been to many diners, but no where has been as good as The Hamilton. The food is absolutely amazing and they do not cut corners. I ordered the beef club and this is the only diner I’ve been to that makes their own roast beef and uses it in their sandwiches. They also have the BEST coleslaw, I’ve had anywhere. If there is one restaurant to define Carlisle, PA, it would be this one. Give it a try and you won’t regret it! Just remember to bring cash, they do not take credit cards.”
“One of my favorite pizza spots in Carlisle!. Always hot and fresh with that authentic flavor. Delivery times are pretty good as well. Clean inside. Good and fast service. Good place to take the family.”
“The Pineapple Cider was good. The Margherita flatbread was very delicious, definitely recommend trying it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was nice and chill.”
“D & S Produce was a wonderful Harvest Host location. Their farm stand is more than fruits and vegetables. The baked goods and sweet treats are delicious! They also very nice people!”
“The Salted Carmel milk was the best milk I ever had in my life. The hamburgers I bought were fantastic. I also said hello to the calves, goats, pigs, sheep at 3pm. What a wonderful place!!!!!”
“It's James! Im from Texas and this is the most authentic tasting mexican tacos I've ever had yet! Crew is extra nice! Love everything about this place!”
“OK, this is a Cidery, not a restaurant, despite the template. However, they have food trucks a lot of the time, so check in with them if you want to eat and aren't bringing your own food. Some truly award winning ciders here, the (Bartender? Don't know what to call them specifically) was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of good suggestions. We came out loving the CrabApple cider, although it might be too sour for the tastes of many, but left with three different growlers of cider, so I'm sure there is something for you. Also, on a good day, expect to enjoy the view!”
“This was my first time eating at Yak and Yeti but it won't be my last. The service was outstanding, very knowledgable and friendly. I have a gluten allergy and I had a lot of questions. They were very patient with me and made some great recommendations. The food was AMAZING and very reasonably priced.”
“Another fantastic meal at North Hanover Grill. Our server tonight was fabulous but we have always had great service here. The food is always hot, delicious and come out correctly every time even with substitutions. Everything is very fairly priced and the house made chips always hit the spot. 10/10”
“The chicory with oat milk & coconut is amazing. Never disappointed. Great alternative to coffee. And the pitaya bowls..are amazing!!Warning on the oatmeal...it's most definitely not for everyone. The manager even said that when we returned the one we ordered. Did say he would put the bowl back on my wife's account though. So still a good experience in the end.Dietary restrictions: Has many options to substitute for allergies.”
“Top tier ice cream with inside seating and reasonable prices! I went twice in one weekend. There were many unusual and appealing flavors. They make their own hot fudge and cones. Cash only.”
“What a charming place and a pleasant surprise for us travelers. The food was good, it was clean, quirky with a fun menu. I'm sure we'll be back when we are in the area. The owner and staff were so friendly too. It's always great to see an older building being reused so well and respectfully.”
“Cheap good hours all that stuff good times yk yk. Near campus let’s gooo soft serve like tbh tastes like cream cheese?????? But like it’s still rly good and also mainly it’s super cheap!!!!”
“This restaurant never disappoints. Every time I order from here, I am satisfied to the point I am sad when my meal is finished. The hardest part of eating here, is deciding which amazing menu item I want to order. I have too many favorites. You can tell the owner and staff care.”
“A wonderful place with delicious breads and pastries, friendly service, and beautiful country / homestead vibe. Definitely the best bread bakery in the area and arguably the best French pastry place. Outdoor, covered seating available with a view of pastures nearby. They usually have several loaf breads available, baguette or batard, scones, and croissant based pastries. The store has related goods for sale including cheeses, jams, meats, and cream cheese. BYOB (Bring your own butter!)!”
“Never disappoints! Food, service, BEERS! So many Belgian beers over 100, with 10 on tap. As for the food our group had was mussels, pork ribeye, steak, carbonade flamade (stew) and a hamburger. Not to mention sides of frites, and mashed sweet-potatoes. All outstanding! This is both a destination restaurant and if you live within an hour drive one you will ask, “why aren’t we coming here more?” As for the beer, you can get a flight, or go exploring thought the menu and ask your server for suggestions. But…be responsible. The Belgian’s can sneak up on you. With all the cool food places in Carlisle, this should be at the top of your list.”
“We get take-out about once a week for 4 years (since the pandemic). Have never had a bad meal! Excellent food, large portions, great turnaround time and you are always met with a smile when checking out! The chicken parm, baked ziti and chicken bacon ranch pizza & Benny's sub are some of our faves!Vegetarian options: Often ordered ziti, stuffed shells, vegetable pizza and tuna sub (pescatarian).Dietary restrictions: Have gluten free pizza.Parking: Small lot directly in front of building. Never experienced an inability to park in lot.Kid-friendliness: TV's in small dining areaWheelchair accessibility: No stairs into restaurant.”
“My wife and I ate here recently. We had reservations and sat at the bar, waiting for our table and ended up actually eating dinner at the bar and gave up our reservation in the dining room. The service was absolutely amazing there and the vibe was really cool.the food was out of this world, cocktails were on point and they had a very nice wine list. Really enjoyed the espresso martinis and all of the entrées were delicious. This is one of our new favorite restaurants in Carlisle for sure. We will definitely be back!”
“Food was wonderfully prepared. Presentation Great hut more importantly the food was delicious. Grilled chicken salad and a Burger. Server was very pleasant and sweet. Support these family businesses Please!”
“The server was so polite and helpful. The pizza was amazing. The crust made the pizza. I just stumbled on to this joint.Parking: I was there on a Sunday. So I parked free at the parking lot adjacent to the pizza shop. I am sure during the week you have to pay.”
“First time there! Absolutely loved it and plan to go back and try their pasta. At this visit I had a cheese burger sub, which was really good, I got the lunch special which came with fries and a drink. I couldn't finish it all, took half the sub home. The price was beyond reasonable, staff were very friendly and prompt.”
“Very kind waitress greeted us as soon as we stepped in, and refilled my coffee without me even asking :) The food was also delicious, would highly reccomend this place. Great vibes and great ”
“Fantastic, friendly service that will leave you be if you wish or be absolutely warm and engaging. Randy was our server and was really pleasant and polite. The atmosphere was relatively relaxed but not too loud at 4pm on a Saturday, but this place can fill up due to the quality of the food and service.Service and food prep were extremely prompt, it was shocking in the best way. The fried fish wasn't greasy but still flavourful, and the meatloaf had a slight crust yet still rich and moist inside. This place has loads of parking available, more than you would initially think as there is an expanded stone lot behind the restaurant beyond the paved initial parking ring. There is significant outdoor seating available (weather permitting) in the front and back of the restaurant.”
“First time having pizza from this great place in Mt. Holly Springs. Pizza was excellent with a wonderful pan crust. Can't wait to try the thin crust and deep dish versions. Very friendly service and very clean dining area. Will be back!”
