“Having known this place for years, love it!! Some folks are excited about the bread… it is unique!! However we come for the Setting, Service, Staff, and the Food!! I wish I had taken pictures of my Omelette, my family’s Breakfast-Sandwiches and wife’s Salad. Unfortunately by the time I thought about it; there was nothing left on the plates!! ?”
“I am a bit late getting this review in but our last experience here was great. My wife and I stopped in on our way north to get a quick breakfast and t did not disappoint. We shared a small plate of Blueberry Muffin Bites and they were quite tasty with a strong but not overwhelming blueberry flavor. I got the MVP Breakfast which let me get a variety of different breakfast items. The waffle and the biscuit with gravy were probably my favorite. The service was fantastic. Our server, whose name I believe was Daytona, never let our cups run empty and was incredibly friendly. All in all it was a good visit and I'm sure we will stop in again.”
“Great overall experience! Chef Don is amazing and his food is out of this world. Definitely worth every penny spent! I’d recommend this place to anyone in the area looking to get what is pretty much some of the best food in Morgantown.”
“The food was fabulous. We've had Mediterranean food before but never Turkish. It was somewhat familiar, but there were also dishes we'd never had before. Super delicious, and the staff was competent, friendly and helpful. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give Istanbul a 15.Wheelchair accessibility: There are two good spots in front of the restaurant”
“I got the baked chicken, banana milkshake, chicken shawarma, and fries via Doordash and everything was incredible! I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s interested!”
“Bar none, the best coffee shop in the Morgantown area. Coffee is spectacular and flavorful. Perfectly brewed. Nice staff and atmosphere. Specials are well done as well. Best regular coffee I've tasted in the state.”
“The ambiance is minimalist--which I personally like. It's kind of like you're sitting in the kitchen at someone's house watching them cook and banter with each other. The server was genuinely nice--not fake--just warm and welcoming. The food was a 5. We'll be back.”
“I got the burrito and it was so so so good!!!!! The refried beans are the best I've had in a while. Def give this place a try!! All the sauces they included were so good as well. I wanna try the ramen next.”
“We called them up to ask if we could order over the phone and they deliver. Without hesitation, they said yes. They answered al our questions about their menu. We've not eaten there before and wanted to try some new things, and were pleasantly surprised. While the pizza may not be "authentic Italian" ..not like anything is around here..it's wonderful.. We loved both the new york and the Sicilian. It's unique...not like nearly every other thing we seem to find in morgantown. We truly appreciated something different than norm yet still quite good. We will absolutely be trying it again and trying new menu items. Ps..salad with homemade ranch was a hit with my fam too, and as a thank you, they gave us free baklava.”
“Delicious coffee, delicious food (I got the chia pudding with blueberries, almond butter, and cacao nibs), and friendly staff! They have an outdoor seating area that gets great sunshine in the mid-morningParking: There's a free lot outside the store, but it usually only has a few spots available.”
“Could not have been happier with our experience. The food was among the best Indian we’ve ever had, and the servers were exceptionally hospitable. We all got different things at the table, but I want to personally recommend the Pepper Fry with lamb, prepared spicy, and also their Chicken 65. Just wow ?”
“I was surprised at how good these little pizzas were. They are thin and crispy. The toppings seem like good quality and they make them very quickly. They are a bit pricey for the size, but I still think they are worth it. The drizzles are a nice touch too.”
“This is the best pizza in Morgantown and they are so sweet. My son and I go in there all the time and get a small cheese well done. Thank you guys for being so amazing. I ate here so much when I was pregnant when I had my son they bought me a pizza hahaha!!!”
“I'm from out of town and really enjoyed the food. Our server Jordan was super friendly and accommodating. She helped find me menu items for gluten, soy and dairy free. She went above and beyond to make sure I had a good allergen friendly meal! Thank you Jordan!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten, dairy, soy free”
“What a lovely place. There are a few seating options, including a couple rooms you could use for a small group. It has a comfy low key Christian coffee shop vibe. Met the owner. She was very kind. Helped me pick my first tea and it was surprisingly delicious. There's a "give or take a blessing" board by one entrance. You can pay ahead for a drink or sandwich and write a note for the person who might recieve it, or grab one off the board. There was "for an early morning teacher to help you wake up" and " For the parent of a child with special needs. Take an hour for you."They sponsor Silent Book Club once a month, have a coloring station, and board games. There's also lots of vegetarian and Gluten sensitive options for food.”
“One of the BEST coffee spots in town! Tucked away in the South Park neighborhood, Quantum Bean presents as an unassuming little building but packs a punch with their top-notch coffee and service. Staff is always super cheerful, and although it gets busy sometimes, they're always efficient. Cannot recommend it enough.”
“Great local restaurant. I love these places when I travel. Our breakfast was outstanding and reasonably priced. I've never had deep fried french toast before...amazing! And the servers Morgan and Daytona were terrific. It's a short drive from the hotels...come here!”
“Black Bear is a Morgantown institution! They have a large menu with many, many delicious items! Their burritos and quesadillas are awesome! It is a very unique place! Portions were generous! I had not visited since before Covid and I was very impressed! I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for a unique dining experience!”
“Went to creek n rail today for the first time! We definitely weren’t disappointed! The food was delicious and the staff was friendly! Their sweet tea and white pizza are the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend going!”

“Our visit to Gene’s a few weeks ago was great fun. Our mission was to buy a hat after seeing John R Miller wearing their hat at a concert a few years ago. So we drove from Michigan in pursuit of a Gene’s hat. We also got this cool drawing. Staff and patrons were a blast … and the beer and hot dogs were great. Such a fun experience at this treasure in Morgantown!”
“I really love this place. When I travel to Morgantown for work I always stop here which isn’t often enough.Friendly people and great food. I love the cheeseburgers and fries. This time I got the House salad with grilled chicken and topped with fries along with honey mustard dressing. It was excellent.Whatever you do, you must get a Halleck draft. This is the best beer I have ever had. Brewed in Morgantown by Chestnut Brewing.Mundys is just a great place to hang out, have a few beers and enjoy good food.”
“Good stuff. Had not been here in years. Had 2 chili dogs, fries and root beer. The unique flair, flavor and custom tastes making this stop unique unto itself which is what makes this a go-to for dogs!”
“I've been here a couple of times now and the food is wonderful. We have tried the mushroom sandwich, Italian sandwich and the chipotle chicken. All were delicious. I can't wait to try some of the soups. And I've heard the desserts are absolutely delicious. It's a great little place to check out!”
“My first visit to this place was today and I loved it. Tastefully decorated, very clean. The beer selection is awesome. I had a very good sandwich with chips. The waitress was very courteous and helpful. I’ll be back the next time I’m in ”
“If you like cookies at all… Try Crumbl Kid-friendliness: I have to ask for certain things left off of cookies (even for myself) and always work with me. I try to catch them during a non-busy time.”
“Absolutely amazing food!! Large portions of awesome food, at a reasonable price. I got the jerk chicken, pasta salad with red beans & rice. We also got sweet chicken, cabbage, red beans & rice. Holy smokes. The chicken on both orders were so tender & bursting with flavor. The sides were awesome too. We had to try the Mac & cheese, which was seasoned just perfectly. We also had a few potatoes in our containers which I’m assuming was fries.. so good. Everything was cooked & seasoned to perfection!! Next time we’ll try the fish since every order that came in while we were there, was for the snapper (a Saturday exclusive) & coco bread. Everyone was so friendly!! I can’t wait to go back.”
“Calling all foodies the breakfast caffe is a hybrid of a charming eclectic breakfast bistro and pop up. The chorizo muffin is a fantastic value with lots of meat and the coffee refills are free. The coffee is $100 per two 10 lb bags. The coffee is top notch and a great value. The pop up food is phenomenal! The gluten free puff pastry is perfection. The caramels purr like silk and the tempered chocolate is glass. Better hurry because the chef is considering going on a world cooking tour so if you want to know what unfettered genius tastes like eat at the breakfast caffe.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian food is as good or not better.Dietary restrictions: The food is subtle so the food is barely salted if any and the sweets are like air so just enough without over powering.Parking: Rv parkingKid-friendliness: Chef is super sweet and allows animals that help. Chef is super conscientious wearing gloves when appropriate.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space.”
“March 2024: We went here on a Wednesday evening around 5pm. Reservations were made the day of to avoid a wait. Good portions of food.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to main dining area is provided.”
