“Came here for the espresso martini crawl and would come back for a regular meal. The staff was friendly and approachable. The Hugh Hefner espresso martini was a unique twist, at first I wasn’t too sure about it, but after the second sip, it was one of my favorites. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.“
“Awesome experience. Very clean, open and overall fantastic. The dogs had plenty of room to roam and were pleasant. Both the waitstaff and management were fantastic and the food is amazing. Best brussels sprouts I have ever had, and that should tell you about the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!“
“We went around the happy hour time. 4-6 pm and you have to be seated at the bar for the happy hour prices. The service was good, attentive staff. The food was good to my surprise. The crispy cauliflower and mushroom pita pizza are a must-try. The Thai chili wings and Buffalo wings were deliciously sauced, along with my margarita. The Smash burger is a must-try too. It was a cool laid-back happy hour spot. I will be back to try the rest of the menu.“
“Had a slice n a cheese steakfood came out fastSlice wasn't heated up n cheese steak very basic roll n meat average n seemed not heated either, most strange bc came out very fasthuge selection of ready pies/slices on display..( Just specify you want Hot food ) if u gobe best to go early in day for slices so not dried up and or order a fresh pie or I'm assuming plain slices get replenished thru out dayPretty lady bartender was friendly and acts as waitress It looked clean n prices average for center city and it's a sports bar too“
“We had a good time here. Food was awesome. Our server was excellent. The only issue I had was the tipping situation. I was with a party of 6. We normally tip good. But this place takes out 20%. . I don't like a place telling me what to tip. That's not how that works. 80 dollars in a tip. Tipping how much is up to the customers.“
“As a vegetarian, I often struggle to find meat-free brunch options that can compare to traditional items. Sidecar Bar is the best brunch i’ve had in Philly! I got the Hippy Benny and it was PHENOMENAL!!! The ingredients were fresh and the potatoes were incredible. I went with a large group and some other favorites were the pancakes, the breakfast flatbread, and the Texan Benny. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat while still remaining casual and family friendly. Our server was friendly and attentive and it was all around a great experience! Definitely make Sidecar Bar your next Philly food destination!“
“Dinner was well paced, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Our drinks were spot on, and our appetizers came pretty fast. The Vern Bone-in Wings had a nice bite, and the Thai Calamari was a nice twist. Another round of drinks and our dinner arrived ... hot and delicious.“
“Pat, the man!! First time there tonight and came due to closeness of location and reviews… but blackened chicken salad and wings to go were both A+Pat’s presence and convos were representation of what a local bar should be! When you walk into a bar and don’t feel awkward to hang by yourself and enjoy a moment… this is the place to be. I will be back soon, thanks for a great time!“
“Great place with amazing cocktails. They have great Indian chai flavors martinis. A bit on sweeter side but must try. The bartenders very friendly and had a good time. Modern simple sleek interior! I think this is my new fav cocktail bar. A great addition to city specially to the area!“
“Not a Chiefs fan but stopped into this corner bar and had such a great experience! The owner, bartender and the locals were so nice! Was given a free burger because I was hungry and was backed up with a free beer from a local. I am so thankful for stopping in! ❤️“
“The staff was absolutely amazing, Annie was super friendly and kind. Our first time visiting Philadelphia and she recommended several places to check out in brewery town. This place has a great selection of beer and lavish cocktails. The food was amazing, I really loved the pork burnt ends. The pho was delicious, fish and chips were nicely battered and tasty. I will be back and I recommend you give them a try!“
“Cool table tennis spot. I attended an event here and there was plenty of food and drinks and friendly staff. Fun environment so I would recommend checking it out if you are in the area. If you are from out of town, there is a parking garage right across the street but it was $30 for 2 hours so just keep that in mind.“
“We stopped by after the Philly Love Run for a much needed brunch. It wasn’t full and we had a nice table upstairs by the window. The bartender is awesome! He made a perfect spicy Bloody Mary and was funny and helpful. Thanks for making out lunch great!!The menu online isn’t exactly what they have (at least for brunch) but what we had hit the spot. The biscuits and gravy is a huge portion. Served with eggs and delicious crispy potatoes. My friend got the burrito sans tortilla. Also great. So glad we tried this place. Would definitely go back!“
“I visited on a thursday with my buddy who goes often. Being a workday night it seemed pretty active yet still a relaxed environment. Bartenders were very friendly and attentive, additionally the wings were great. Will definitely return.Parking: It is south philly so obviously parking is a bit challenging, but I was able to find plenty of spots about a block and half or so away.“
“Layout/atmosphere*Irish pub type setting; beer lists & specials on chalkboards; main room with tables & U shaped bar with four TVs; internet jukebox; back room with tables and a TV; side room with a pool table; picnic tables on sidewalkService*Friendly bartender (Nicola)Food/drink*Jerk Chicken Cheesesteak (sautéed mushrooms & onions, smoked Gouda cheese & mango BBQ sauce) with French fries & side of pickles - good; the jerk seasoning and BBQ sauce came through with a kick; toasted roll; fries were Good; salted properly*Yards Brewing Philadelphia Pale Ale (draft) - solid; light, hoppy“
“Wings were ok. Ordered 50. 25 garlic parm and 25 Barbalo (bbq and hot sauce) they were great but the garlic parm were super dry at this location like a dry rub. Bensalem Currans wings are 1000% better. No celery either which is odd. Bartender Brian was great while we waited.“
“Honey, hot wigs, delicious potato skins could use some seasoning. Bob Marley didn't seem as strong as b4. The Sever was ok. 18 percent tip is crazy because service isn't always good. On my recent visit, it was good, and I tipped “
“Treat yourself to this place, it's a mixed crowd with young and old alike. The best thing about this place is the food and the Margerita towers. The service can be slow at times but well worth the wait. I can't stress enough how good the sautéed spinach is, and I never even liked spinach. The salmon egg rolls are to die for and just wow. Go here and enjoy, the food the food the food. And did I say the food ????“
“Came here for a quick beer and enjoyed this spot. It has the feeling of a dive , so if you aren’t into that, this isn’t the place for you. I had their Green Rock Lager which had an interesting taste of bananas, but for the price was much more interesting than a typical light beer. Would definitely come back for a drink and to try the food.“
“Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. Plenty of space and it was nice and clean. My kids loved breakfast with the Easter bunny. He was very friendly. Food was decent enough.Kid-friendliness: Had kid meal options and dining area away from barWheelchair accessibility: Accessibility parking, entrance and seating“
“Despite being a little run-down, the Mermaid is understandably well-loved for its historic building retaining much of its architectural detail & charm. The colonial era inn claims the finely-detailed rich brown wood bar is original. We visited for the first time to see the final performance of the fantastic groove-band the Sacred Cowboys. Great band & fans! Large, supportive crowd! We didn't eat, but the bar staff was efficient & friendly.“
“Came here because we saw a friend post about it and we were not let down. We had the best bartender ever hands down. Some of the best wings I have ever had. That says a ton as I never eat bone in wings because I never like them. Drinks came fast all night. They had a game night which was really fun. If you are in the area I suggest stopping in. If you want an amazing bartender be sure to ask for Gianna. Girl is on point!!“
“Overall good service, food was good and the bartender named Joe was great but I went there to watch the Duke game and none of the TVs had it on. That seemed weird to me. Maybe the owner should invest in more TVs and ensure the Duke game is on.“
“Was here for dinner last night. Our very nice server recommended the Caesar salad w/hanger steak and it was excellent. The Guinness was poured perfectly. My friend enjoyed his French Dip sandwich and he is not easily pleased. There are ample TVs to watch the games and there was a full crowd of patrons and a good vibe.“
“Neighborhood joint. Good food and drinks are nicely priced. Good for "gals/guys/friends" nite.Parking: The street has metered parking. The side streets are free, however they are residential, so there are few spots.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps and they have a table near the door that is lower than the bar.“
“We are celebrated our mother's Birthday at Cafe light. I want to say a BIG thank you for such a warm atmosphere, wonderful staff, delicious food, cozy room. Dishes surprise with excellent presentation and taste. Svetlana and your entire team, thank you, we have never tasted anything tastier in restaurants in 13 years in America. You are amazing. Highly recommend this place.“
“Been going here for about two years. Delightful neighborhood bar with great prices, friendly staff, good food with a rotating menu (always try the grilled cheese special), and a great tavern vibe. Pool upstairs (if you’re lucky enough to get there first). I’ve since moved out of the neighborhood to Point Breeze, but my friends and I still make the hike over to Watkins at least once a week because that’s how much we love this place. This is the stuff!“
“Hidden on Samson Street between 15 & 16th Streets in Philadelphia, you’ll find 1518 Bar & Grill. Hitting at happy hour was a treat, an extensive appetizer menu is a treat for those who are indecisive like my beautiful wife. Simple things like Mozzarella Sticks, delicious Meatballs in marinara, Fries Pickles and a surprising Shrimp Tempura plate that included mushrooms, zucchini and apples. I this was near home, 1518!would be our place, the hole in the wall with class, Everything was so good. Now, the beer: Is there ever a big beer that may be a little too drinkable? Perpetual IPA would be on the list, hoppy and bitter, yet smooth and clean with a candied fruit sweetness making it very drinkable. I could crush these, but would regret it later.IG: @crafty_fireman“
“We ordered in tonight, thought we'd try a different place and have some quesedillas. I've heard and seen Union Tap mentioned a lot, haven't tried them before. Hate those stupid cliches, a hidden gem, etc, so ill just come right out and say these were the absolute best quesedillas we've ever had, yes, for real. Plenty of food, chicken was delicious, it had caramelized onions, roasted peppers, the chicken was $3.50 extra. At $12.50 per/quesedilla, it was well worth it. Have lunch for tomorrow too! We definitely WILL order from and eat there again!“
“The owners, Jermaine & April, are super friendly & welcoming! The atmosphere was that of a neighborhood bar where everyone is treated like an old friend. The food was tasty & the drinks went down smooth. Will definitely be returning!“
“I've been coming here since before it became The Station. Once the Station opened, it captured my heart. It's fun and diverse. The staff is helpful, kind and friendly. Drinks are properly mixed and made with love; you can literally taste the passion of mixology from the bartenders! The whole establishment is up to date on cleanliness. My favorite part of Station is if you're a single woman drinking alone, you feel safe!!! I've gone during my sober years and during my boozer years; it's fun regardless! I can't stress enough that as a petite woman, I've never felt uncomfortable here no matter how intoxicated I get. This is a safe bar for everyone!“
“Bad service and this is for the owner, I left there upset because of an employee that you have who is in charge of the entrance. I do not have to consume alcohol to be in the establishment and sit down to drink alcohol to be seated and every person who asks me about that place, rest assured that I am going to tell him the bad thingPerson you have as an employee“
“Friendly atmosphere, good place to unwind everyone is treated like family. Good safe place to go to have a few drinks. Bartenders are friendly and accommodating. Weather your a New customer as well as regular customers everyone is treated with respect. Highly recommend if your looking to enjoy a night out. Food is great as well“
“I love , love, love this place. I found it accidentally while driving towards Market Street. We saw a grill and the sweet smell of barbecue. We immediately stopped and ordered ribs, hotdogs, hot sausages, potato salad, green beans, and Mac cheese . Everything was delicious!! Shout out to my girl Shay . Thank you so much for good food and your hospitality.?“
“Barmaids are always welcoming to you as you're coming in. Good service, good food. Nice size shots for your money. For more fun there's also a pool table in the back. So leave your negativity outside and unwind inside with new and old friends/family bar. Wheelchair accessible too.“
“I had a backroom graduation party in May., perfect place for a party for a crowd of est.40 people. Shawn Murphy made sure we got it all set up right, W/ wristbands provided, the bartenders were fabulous. I would definitely recommend this place for private party's. Had a great time, thank yoh, Gary D“
“I pregamed here by accident on my 40th birthday and I must say. I’m happy I stumbled crossed this spot. Atmosphere was good the bar tender was kool with great personality. Food was good music was good. Kool little vibe. They made me feel great I most likely will be going back for a regular night. Thank you guys.“
“I always have a "good time" here pretty cool folks(don't judge the book by its cover) and finally tried the food and it was DELICIOUS so much so that I went back the very next day for lunch... the owner is awesome and the chef makes the food look and taste amazing and it really is restaurant quality food right at the corner... keep up the good work.“
“This bar is a laid back relaxed no drama bar. The drinks were good I didn't have any food but my friend had buffalo wings he said they were good. The DJ came in a little later that night and he was jamming. I will be back, I found me a new “

“I love marathon for its stable and predictably good food. It is a great place to meet a friend for lunch. It is a bit noisy at times and can be hard to hear a conversation. I would also recommend making a reservation at anytime as walk ins have to wait.“
“We were traveling 4 generations deep following the San Diego Padres on an east coast trip. We did all the research we could on a nice B&B, with proximity to a bar and the stadium and we ended up a block away from this place. The neighborhoods vibe was safe and friendly, and the people inside this particular bar were cool and classy without a doubt. Shot out to the cool Martin who didn’t disappoint with anything he made. We shall return.“
“We came in august and enjoyed ourselves so much we went 3 nights in a row. Everyone were down to earth, drinks were on point, music selection was dope! Even the owner came and spoke with us a few times. Karaoke was the first night we arrived and we had a ball ❤️❤️❤️To the owner... the crew from Upstate New York will be back“
“Food is really good and fresh. They're customer service (to me ) everytime i come in there is awesome. They smile at you, say hello and take your order, and say thank you before u leave. Make u feel like they appreciate ur business and i like it. Thumbs up!“
“Pats Steaks has been around for almost 100 years, sure its in questionable area but the food was good, we got the philly steaks with wiz and fried onions and peppers, good taste, lots of wizz, average value, it is what it is! do yourself a favour and grab a philly steak from here!“
“Loved our Sunday brunch here. Came here after trying Nemi (their sister restaurant) & thought everything was delicious. Great service for sure & the food was super good. Waffles & strawberry cream were not too sweet & perfect compliment to our other two dishes. Will return to Port Richmond soon.Vegetarian options: They can taylor your dish to be all veg.“
