Excellent sandwich stand in the Reading Market known for its roast pork sandwiches. They didn’t disappoint - get it with provolone, broccoli rabe, and peppers. Admittedly it was a touch dry in spots and could have used more au jus, but the wet spots were amazing.
This is by far my go to place when in downtown Philly at lunchtime. My go to is the sliced pork sandwich. Worth every penny. Only caveat is the last time I was there is they no longer let you eat at the bar. Everything is now to go. So ambiance is a zero and service doesn't exist. It's order and go.

A staple in the Reading Terminal market, so I had to give it a try. Roast Pork Sandwich with peppers - The sandwich came with some thickly wrapped butchers paper. Thinly cut roast pork was kinda dry by them self, but it got better as you make your way down the sandwich. Loads of sauce, soup? Was slowly making its way down the sandwich, thankfully for the abundance for paper there was not too much drippage. Would recommend opening it up and eating it on a table.
