Food is next level.I thought I knew what hummus tasted like until I tried theirs and GAME CHANGER- it is exceptional. Salad was one of the freshest salads with authentic flavors i have had as well.Highly recommend if you want authentic med food.

Amazing food and even better service! We ordered pick-up and it seemed to be a slower night. The man working finished our order 20 minutes earlier than we were expecting, which was a great plus! Such a friendly atmosphere. He was so enthusiastic to share his traditional cuisine with us, and even gave us some dessert to try, no charge. The Falafel was my favorite, and all of the other food had a unique flavor profile. I'd definitely eat here again.

New neighborhood Mediterranean place serving delicious food made fresh. The vegetarian platter was perfect to share with hummus, baba ghanoush, grape leaves and falafel and so filling. Excellent kofta Kebob also. The owners are so nice, we will definitely stop again when we are in the area!

Really happy we decided to try this place out tonight as we live close by. We ordered takeout for the first time and were pleasantly surprised with the flavorful & filling food. I love the chicken shawarma & my fiancé loved the oxtail & orzo. The staff was SO sweet! They sent us home with additional food & even reimbursed the card fee. We will absolutely be going back, and I look forward to trying their other dishes....I also want to try all of their desserts!

The food is so fresh and so good! The owners are nothing but the absolute best people! First time here and the owner brought over complimentary hummus and dessert, now let me tell you I’ve been in the restaurant industry for a very long time and complimentary food is what makes my heart warm and feel welcomed and at home!!! The whole experience here was great! My cousin and I had the best time and talking to the very sweet owners! Thank you for such a great time we’ll definitely be back very soon!

After living in the neighborhood for 6 months during the height of the takeout era of quarantine, I Figured Olive my usual spots could use a break from me and decided to try something different. Figs & Olives is a new unassuming Mediterranean restaurant across the street from Jose Pistolas which also has a surprise Italian/ pizza menu on the back. We came in and were able to place an order, but we waited a good 20 minutes for our food (nice to know it was made fresh!). We ordered the muhamarra red pepper dip (came with pita), beef sambusek, mixed grill kebab (comes with chicken, beef, and kofte kebab, rice and salad), eggplant salad, baklava and knafeh. Our favorites were the eggplant salad, beef sambusek (fried dough stuffed with mediterranean spiced beef, onions and peppers- like a triangular empanada), and baklava. It's nice to have a mediterranean option in the neighborhood and I'm very curious about their Italian offerings! They do not have any outdoor seating right now and their indoor seating is very basic, I'd recommend getting takeout or ordering delivery. They have a 4% charge for credit cards which you can avoid by paying cash if you go in person.
I visited on Friday night and was immediately impressed with how clean the restaurant is. The food was probably the freshest I’ve ever had anywhere on the 4 continents I’ve traveled to, and the owners are very friendly. The mixed grill entre, lentil soup and falafel were absolutely fantastic! Philly has a gem with Figs and Olives.

Fattoush salad with chicken...fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed the lentil soup. The owner also shared a slice with garlic, feta and za'atar. Delicious! Next trip to Philly, I am heading back! I neglected to mentioned... The owner and his wife (I think) are amazingly nice and accommodating. They make you feel welcome.

I have never written a review in my life, but this place deserves one.I bought 12 inch personal pizza w pepperoni, falafel side, ck shawarma and baklava. Not only was the owner quick to make my order, he stopped to explain the menu to me because I was not familiar with Mediterranean items.Owner said they also make Italian food and the pizza is the best you will have. I’ve heard that a million times....I walk outside and try the pizza and wow... he was not lying. This pizza is ?. I’ve been back 3x since my first time in.I do notice their 16 inch pizza is thinner crust and slightly different, but still amazing.Excited to have this place in South Philly... they rock!!

When I tried the hummus I knew I had to leave a review! This hummus is a GAME CHANGER! That said, all of our food was delicious, and the owners were so sweet and kind! This is going to be a new favorite spot. Also, the Passyunk restaurant week deal here cannot be beat, you definitely get your money's worth and won't leave hungry.

So happy there’s a Mediterranean Restaurant on Passyunk. We ordered from Figs and Olives for the first time tonight and it certainly will not be the last! The Grilled Atlantic Salmon and Moussaka was delicious! The desserts were the perfect accompaniment to our dinner. The owners are very sweet, they gave us a complimentary delicious cookies. Can’t wait to try all of their other specialties!
