“This place is a definite must-visit! I went all in with the pizza and cheesesteak, and while the cheesesteak didn't quite steal the show for me, the pizza totally rocked my taste buds into another dimension! Seriously, it was pizza perfection—so good, it deserves a 9.2 on the deliciousness scale!“
“The intent is clear and well executed. It didn't seem like a place that aims to put pizza on a pedestal rather a well put together representation of desired traits specific to the Philadelphia dining scene. The pizza leaned towards a bar pie, that was executed by someone who has a devout understanding of the dough and the other ingredients involved. The soft serve was well spun and tasty. Overall the hype is real and was a real joy to visit!“
“I stumbled upon this great spot that serves an amazing Chilli Paneer Pizza – it's really something with its spicy kick and cheesy goodness. And the Achari Chicken Wings? They're a perfect match with the pizza. Topped off with a Limca, it makes for a fantastic meal. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're up for something new!“
“Edit: I received a response within minutes of my review and after a brief exchange the manager (or owner, I'm not sure) sent me a gift card as an apology. My wife and I ordered food tonight and it was AMAZING. My faith in the couch tomato has been restored!!! A former personal favorite of mine. When they hit their food is out of this world. But the miss rate is getting bigger and higher making it so that I now hesitate when I have a craving for my favorite pizza or salad. They used to be a once every two weeks option for me, now they're once every two months.“
“The food was excellent and the service was good. We went for an event and I just don't think this space was right for it. We also ended up at their 2nd location by accident and ended up crashing another private party. It was overall a nice time and we enjoyed the food, just wish there was more space to enjoy it in.“
“Lucked in to finding this place while in town. Small local restaurant, clean and friendly. The mozzarella sticks are freshly cut, battered and deep fried. Best I’ve ever had. The pizza was amazing. Had pepperoni and sausage. Sausage was legit good!“
“True old world Italian cooking artistry. Opened in 1899 Dante and Luigi's is one of the oldest restaurants in Philadelphia PA. It is certainly the oldest Italian eatery in Philly. Cozy with well dressed wait staff and old world decor. The food tells the story here. I have eating there since college. I took my dates there when I was 18. I go for the food. Delicious is the keyword. Savory tomato sauces, tender meats and exquisite desserts if you have the room after eating your meal. On my recent visit I had pasta fagoli and a side of roasted peppers and provolone to start and their homemade lasagna for the main course. Everything was scrumptious. Even though I was bordering on I can't eat another bite I had the tiramisu for dessert. I couldn't resist. Dante and Luigi is easily my favorite Italian restaurant and a cut about the rest.“
“This space is breathtaking. From the first few steps in, you know it’s going to be a good food experience. Meticulous detail on decor and the dishes. We had an oyster appetizer, fresh and well treated. We tried their pasta dishes and the spicy chicken sandwich and neither disappointed. Hands down best restaurant in the city.“
“Superb service and phenomenal food! Fun atmosphere for a quick bite, after work wind down, date night, or time with friends. Excited for the live music and other events.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options that will satisfy all cravings.Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan options! Chef is crazy cool and accommodating.“
“We had a delicious meal here! Highlights were focaccia with whipped ricotta, the squash pasta (forget the fancy namebut it’s the interesting shaped one below), and the chocolate mousse cake. Service was great too! We were originally slotted to have an outdoor table but they were able to squeeze us indoors. Would definitely come back.“
“Great little local pizza spot. Ordered a 16 inch circle pie and could not have been happier with it. Also had curly fries and pickled long hots which hit the spot. The window person was exceptionally friendly and I waited 5 minutes less than originally told for my order which rarely happens anywhere these days. Food and Service 5 stars, and only rated atmosphere 3 stars because it is just outdoors, still cool benches and a long standing table to eat at. Will be going back for sure.“
“Amazing, Delectable, Homey, and great. At dough head you don’t just get pizza, you get a bustling little shop with passionate owners and staff. THIS PLACE WAS BUSYYYY!!! But it didn’t stop the owner from having some fun with us and even offering us some soda for the long wait. There is energy and love in that kitchen. And it does translate to the Pizza. Delicious and one of the bests I’ve had in a while. Dough Head you were worth it!“
“Very good Cheesesteaks. Great place to order out, or eat in whenever that crumb bum Mayor Kenny and Wolf stop playing games with people and stop trying to destroy businesses. 4 th time ordering. Try the Cooper sharp wit fried onions. Best fried mozzarella I ever had.“
“20th Street carries the torch for Philly vegan pizzerias, following in the tradition of Gianna’s & Blackbird of yesteryear - except 20th Street does it best. Even writing this review & considering the Haymaker or Pepperoni slices, my mouth waters & belly growls! HahaThis is sourdough artisanal vegan pizza at its best, try any selection from the pies at the counter, you will not be disappointed!Vegetarian options: Vegan menu - plant based restaurant“
“Food was amazing! We almost didn't come here because they didn't have many reviews but we are so glad we did. Food was exceptional and the service was fantastic . We started with the beet salad and octopus, shared the branzino and finished with the tiramisu. We can't wait to come back!“
“This cool vibe place is friendly, and well staffed with an open style kitchen. Creative menu with ingredients applied tactfully with an appropriate touch. Smaller plates are perfect portions and served at an enjoyable pace.Def worth stopping in.“
“I’ve eaten here twice, now. I thought there was no way that what I ordered tonight (quesadillas w/rib eye) could match the Bufalo pizza from two days ago. I was as wrong as I could be. I’m guessing that I will eat here 80 to 100 times this year. It’s THAT good.“
“Walked over on a rainy day and found the crowd light, so we took a place at the bar. Ordered drinks and a pizza (regular pie with vegan pepperoni) and watched the first period of the Flyers Game. Pizza was excellent and we will definitely be going backVegetarian options: For vegetarians / vegans you can get pretty much the whole menu as a vegan option.“
“Had a slice n a cheese steakfood came out fastSlice wasn't heated up n cheese steak very basic roll n meat average n seemed not heated either, most strange bc came out very fasthuge selection of ready pies/slices on display..( Just specify you want Hot food ) if u gobe best to go early in day for slices so not dried up and or order a fresh pie or I'm assuming plain slices get replenished thru out dayPretty lady bartender was friendly and acts as waitress It looked clean n prices average for center city and it's a sports bar too“
“Visiting Philadelphia over Easter. Ended up at Prunella Sunday afternoon. The Honey Fitzgerald cocktail was amazing! Ordered the Caesar salad which was a great surprise to the tastebuds, and the pizza was just so damn delicious. The service and atmosphere was perfect. Had dinner the previous evening at The Capital Grille, but I enjoyed Prunella for the casual feel and experience we had. Prunella will be first on my list when visiting Philadelphia next. I just loved everything about it!“
“I recently moved to the neighborhood and my family and I have had nothing but excellent experiences with the staff and quality of food recieved. I also work locally and our staff lunches are often supplied and everyone is well fed and satisfied. Amigos is an asset to the community and a joy to patronize on a daily basis. Desserts are extra special!!!“
“202305The first time I ate it was at an event where they set up a stall and it was amazing. Later, I went to the venue to eat. You can call to order first or you will have to wait for a long time. The thick pizza is delicious. The employees seem to be almost all freshmen and they are treated very friendly!“
“I would sell my soul to the devil for the meatballs. I am now on a mission to try everything on the menu. Such a clean environment, friendly staff and close to home, you can't beat it! Santinis is in my top 3 best places for getting food in the NE! Give it a try, you won't regret it!!“
“Food is really good I got the fettuccine Alfredo, I got a small pizza half pep that they forgot to deliver with door dash. And a cake … my dasher went out of his way to go all the way back to the store which he didn’t have to do. But a hour later we received the pizza cold as ever but it was still good. I just wish the pizza store would have cooked us a fresh pizza since they forgot to give it to the dasher. But other then that I will be back in person for more food“
“I ordered a plain cheese pizza for take out on a Sunday afternoon. I had to wait 25 minutes but it was worth it. Like most places in the city, parking options are very limited. When I walked in to their shop I saw several happy customers eating away, enjoying their food. The place seats about 20 people. Nice low key , no frills, South Philly Italian pizza parlor vibe with very good food. It beats standing in line at Angelo’s.“
“I’ve been coming here for years as a student at temple university! It’s one of the places that I enjoy going too and always rave about. The pizza never disappoints, and the slices are good for what you pay! Never disappointed. I usually get a plain, margarita, or a buffalo chicken. Today I got a buffalo chicken with my friend and we both enjoyed it!“
“Stella has made me happy with its excellent employees, taste and visuality. We ate pizza, pasta and dessert. The place is beautiful from the decorative acid. There is a pizza oven that you can watch in your case. The employees are cute. The only point I stuck on was that the girl standing at the head of the oven did not put a cap on her hair. Especially, it can be ensured that an employer in the eyes of Boyle pays a little more attention and does not have the mind of the customer. The customer quality is very good. Also, the waiters and the employees who stand for the door to meet are also very respectful.“
“I occasionally deliver mail along this stretch of town and when I do this is where I stop for lunch. I've lived in Philly for over thirty years now and I've had my fair share of cheesesteaks. This place has one of the best I've ever had. I know it surprised me too! I recently strayed and ordered mama's lasagne and mama knows exactly what she's doing. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite. There are daily soups, homemade Spanakopita and all the other regulars. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers and breakfast! Enjoy“
“I LOVE EDDIES PIZZA!!! I have been coming here for the past 3 years and it is the best pizza I’ve ever had. They should come out with merch because I would rep this spot any day! The vodka margarita and the plain pizza have my heart. It’s a family owned business and they really care about their food.“
“This is seriously terrific pizza. We've gotten pizza from here twice and it's been excellent both times--honestly don't quite understand how this place doesn't get more buzz. Also, it's apparently founded and owned by an SJU grad named Anthony Pizza??? C'mon, it's just too perfect. The green olives and broccoli rabe are an A+ combo“
“Pizza is normally very good, a few misses but overall it is good, sauce is great. Prices go up every time I visit and is now $6 a slice/ $6.50 if you want a small box! Super small place, a little sketchy outside, and cash only. Continuing to be a regular customer though.“
“There wasn't much room and we were just about to leave, but the waitress Azra immediately accompanied us. We drank Watermelon mint, she did her job quickly and was very friendly. We didn't expect to encounter a Turk. I guess he was the only Turk. Thank you for the nice conversation and the nice drinks. The place was very nice in terms of decoration, there are not many hookah places like this around here. Thanks again to Azra, see you again??“
“Great food, great beer. The pizza is wonderful, but the star of the show for me is the salad. I don’t think I’ve ever felt strongly about a salad before this. The beer is great across the board, you’re going to like whatever you get. And the staff are fantastic as well, so helpful and friendly.“
“I will warn that it is very much pizza shop vibe as far as aesthetics.. but I must say I have heard nothing but absolutely raving reviews about their food and I was not disappointed! The pizza crust was out of this world with options you don’t see everywhere, like cacio e pepe, and their cocktails are fun and delicious! Also 48263929 bonus points for bringing a cake out with a candle when all I did was click “Birthday” on Resy. I have NEVER had a restaurant do this! Also music was trendy. 10/10 would recommend. Come during the week when it’s slow for optimal comfort! We will be back ?“
“This place has the best vegan food that doesn't taste like traditional “vegan food”. It also has non-vegan options, so it is great for bringing non-vegan friends/family. They also have a wide variety of alcohol in case you enjoy that stuff. They also have a huge selection of pizzas, even including vegan ones! You can even sub vegan cheese on any one of the regular pizzas. I had a sandwich that was made of pizza crust, and ive never had anything like it before! 10/10 will be returning.“
“Center City Philadelphia has a pizza slice deficit and Tetra’s solving that problem. Despite a few two-top tables in the back, Tetra is really a takeout spot with solid pizza baked in a fantastic conveyor belt oven. This oven process ensures that every pizza comes out perfectly. When I want a slice near 20th and Market, I go here and you should, too.“
“Had a delicious dinner here with my 18 year old son on a trip to Philadelphia. We stopped in because it was close to our hotel, but the food was wonderful. We talked with one of the owners, Manny, as he told us the specials. He clearly loved what his restaurant offered the public. Huge portions and great value - my bottomless-pit son enough left with a full stomach!“
“We had a good time here. Food was awesome. Our server was excellent. The only issue I had was the tipping situation. I was with a party of 6. We normally tip good. But this place takes out 20%. . I don't like a place telling me what to tip. That's not how that works. 80 dollars in a tip. Tipping how much is up to the customers.“
“Live love Chucks ? best water ice and custard in South Philly, everything is homemade and fresh and the owners are so sweet. Down to earth place, prices are affordable. Personal favorite ices are the black cherry, pina colada, and strawberry lemonade.“
“I am declaring Founded Pizza's Caprese Pizza a culinary masterpiece blending fresh greens, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil on a perfectly crispy crust. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, elevated by a delicate balsamic glaze. It’s surprising to find such commitment to quality and attention to detail in a local pizza joint, but Founded Pizza offers an exceptional selection that will leave me craving for more. We’re lucky to have a Pizza restaurant offering this level of quality in East Falls.“
“The Owner & staff is the best they always accommodate me with my light cook pizzas for my uncle!!!because he has no teeth and he enjoys King Pizza. To the staff much appreciated ??☪️?that’s LOVE PERIOT! I’m super grateful ☺️ for the small things in life to make a senior citizen ? “
“Delightfully simple and feeling like family, extra friendly service and sublime Italian dive, us guys sampled this excellent East coast pizza place on a whim and got our faces stuffed! The atmosphere is cozy and clean, but no bathrooms, great presentation of options and grand menu for a small eatery. The simple pie and BBQ were both ideal. Weirdly no public bathrooms, a poor oversight for an attempt at becoming Philly famous.“
“Love the staff. They make you feel like family. And it's fun to see so many people dining there know one another. such a nice neighborhood restaurant feel Food was so good! My husband loves the chicken parm and the mo's chicken. My kids love the pizza, pasta and meatballs. I always try to order off the specials board. They steak and halibut have been my favorite. The pesto gnocchi was a special but it's on the menu now, it's so good! And love a BYOB.“
“I would give ten stars if I could. I wish there was a way to pay for a sixth star or something. This place...I pride myself on being a pizza snob and having the palette to know when the sauce is canned. This place is original from scratch, start to finish. The sauce is insanely good. I wish they had more seating inside so we could just sit there and eat for hours. Give them a shot, not your typical pizza joint. WORTH THE HYPE!!“
“I went in because I was craving chicken wings and ordered a platter with cheese fries on the side-very tasty and crispy just wish they had coleslaw, which is something they don't offer here because it's not in demand, I guess im different as I love a side of slaw to balance the meal? regardless still a nice lil spot and will be ordering from here whenever I feel the desire for wings!“
“I’ve driven past this place a million times and it’s always piqued my curiosity… so I finally tried it out and I’m happy to say that it is now officially on my go-to list for excellent, no frills, takeout pizza. The baked ziti pizza immediately caught my eye and it was fantastic! Who doesn’t love carbs on carbs?!? The super veggie pie with fresh garlic, broccoli, spinach, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and yellow squash was also outstanding and loaded with toppings. Finally, the ultimate judgement is made from the plain cheese pizza; great sauce that was not too sweet, a good cheese to sauce ratio, and a flavorful thin NY style crust. They advertise “quality and authenticity” and quality is definitely what you get in this pizza! Also doesn’t hurt that everyone is super nice and friendly!“
“So I recently discovered this place looking for lunch for work. The first time I ordered from here I got a cheesesteak, cheese waffle fries and a slice of bbq pizza. Now, the fries were good, they give a great portion for a small. The cheesesteak would’ve been great also but someone was a little heavy handed with the salt shaker and they kind of blew the taste for me. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but the overpowering of the salt kind of ruined it but i still ate it. Last is the slice of pizza. That was delicious, i just wish they would keep it in a bit longer so the crust can get a little crispier. It was the first thing i ate and had to peel the crust off to eat with every bite i took. Overall, it's a cool laid back place. I would still recommend it to those who are looking for a pizza place downtown. They also have some desserts in the fridge that look absolutely appetizing. Oh, the macadamia nut cookies are out of this worlddddd!“
“This spot has become an addiction. BIRRIA EVERYTHING. Their Birria Pizza has to be one of the most amazing pizzas in Philly. LOADED with beautiful tender slow braised beef and delievered with an amazing consome that, if you run out of pizza, you'd end up drinking it instead. Can't reccomend enough, they were an instant neighborhood staple the moment they opened, and last time I was in I was thrilled to see another counter had opened up slinging slices.“
“I am thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious. I GRUBHUB the food. The packing was perfect. The food was hot and very tasty wasn’t salty,. I’m thoroughly impressed. I got the vegetable lasagna and it was delicious.!! Wow, very impressive veryVegetarian options: The vegetarian lasagna was absolutely wonderful. The salad was delicious. The lettuce was crisp. The tomatoes was crisp. Everything was delicious. This place is awesome.. my first time and it won’t be my last“
“We are so incredibly lucky to live less than a 10min walk from West Passyunk to Stina. The food, staff and space are a perfectly balanced blend with so much love, care and attention to detail put into each dish. Order everything… Stina forever! 5⭐️“
