I heard nothing but good things about this bakery. I decided to try it out not long ago to see what people were raving about.It's a classic local bakery on the north side of Philly. When I walked in the staff was helpful.I purchased (cash only) their vanilla pound cake. Would I say it's the best cake I've ever had? No. I wasn't a fan of the icing. Been going here for years. Vanilla pound cake is my favorite. They look like cinder blocks but so rich, buttery and delicious! Lines get around the corner during the holidays as people buy in bulk. It's a family business and they're wonderful folks.

A Philly pillar of the neighborhood. Make sure to Preorder because even though they are called Stocks they are known to run out! 6 Bars "Bricks" limit, delicious cookies, and I recommend the Babka if you like danishes.
