All the food was as described and the portions were awesome for the price. We were provided refills without needing to ask which was awesome. We really needed appetizer plates for our gyoza as it was messy after dipping in the sauce. The restaurant was clean and tidy. We don't go out for ramen much but we would return.“

Personally, I ordered the miso soup ramen and I loved it: both the decoration of the dish, as well as the quantity and flavor, were in harmony; For starters we ordered gyozas, which were delicious. “I've read most of the reviews here on this post and like the writers, I agree with the fine atmosphere, the food and the efficiency of the chefs but I didn't agree with and noticed with question the size of my sushi rolls in comparison to the four young college students that came in after I arrived, two of which ate the sushi w/their hands (clear amateurs and it's crass, lol) Having dined in several sushi houses across Center city let alone Philadelphia over the years this place WAS one of my favorites until last night.I've been here about approximately 5 to 6 times and I always felt a little bit of customer bias but didn't pay it too much attention until last night my suspicions were confirmed when I sensed a feeling of terse, unfriendly customer service and bias.I won't indicate the chef that displayed this bias but attitudes like this flow from the top.I WON'T be returning here. I'll remain going to their competitions in the area rather than to be "Sneak dissed on the low" and keep your self respect, dignity and character as a more sophisticated person rather than to be on the receiving end of socially biased, micro aggressions.I only think of what size w/the mayor's rolls be were she to walk in and order the meal I ordered, what cm size difference would she get served?Im not having sushi here anymore in 2024.“
“Very good sushi spot. Went with my wife on a date night and had a great time. The waitress was patient and answered all our questions when we tried to get away from the basic Cali roll. I tried raw sushi for the first time and it wasn't bad. We did try some of the Cali rolls and they were great and well balanced. Usually you get a bunch of cucumber and a little crab, but not here. Everything was delicious and the staff was great. Check them out.“

“Location a bit sketchy and there is not many seats inside but the sushi is good quality for its price point.The salmon roll is $10 at time of writing, slightly more expensive than nearby alternatives but seems to be expertly prepared.The braised pork belly buns are delicious and come with thick slabs of pork meat.The fried rice rolls appetizers are also quick good and does their job to stimulate the appetite.The cha shu ramen itself is slightly spicy and includes a sliced slab of corn which is an interesting choice, at first glance, it seems a bit like instant ramen but upon tasing the noodles are certainly higher quality than that of instant ramen. The eggs are hard boiled and reminiscent of soy sauced braised salty tea eggs, the broth is flavorful but nothing too special and the same can be said for the cha shu pork pieces. Overall 4/5. The ramen passable but the sushi is the main highlight of this place.“
“The restaurant is super cute inside. Not very big but so aesthetically pleasing! The details in the roof were so pretty and fun. The food here was so good that we repeated courses. Seriously, the fried pork dumplings were sooooo good. The sushi was fresh and I have to mention that IT WAS REAL CRAB, no imitation. Our server was great with the table next to us but not the friendliest with us which was a bit awkward. However, I will say that Penne was a dang Rockstar and Her energy made up for our server's lack of it. She was so fun and vibrant. The duck (or chicken?) was so crispy and flavorful on the outside and juicy inside. The dessert was delicious! You get to pick 3 and they bring out these mini deserts that might as well have fallen out of heaven. My only complaint tonight was that we were basically seated on the table next to us. We were so close that we could easily sneeze on each other's food ? there were other tables that were empty when we arrived and remained so for the remainder of the night. It never makes sense when you have to be on top of another party and pretend not to acknowledge each other. We ordered the drunken noodles (which I was so excited about and met my expectations), tofu fried rice, crab rangoon, and a few sushi rolls. My man usually says his food is fine, however, he said this place is BANGIN which amazed me. Atmosphere is gorgeous. “I went here with a crew of 6 to celebrate a special day, and it was a really good experience! By no means am I a sushi expert, but I am not a newcomer either and to me it was pretty great experience, especially the tempura shrimp on the mango shrimp roll.. We ordered the Party Platter D which came with 64 pieces total comprised of Alaska roll, tuna avocado roll, california roll, spicy tuna roll, sweet potato roll, tiger roll, mango shrimp roll, and creamy crab roll. The mango in the mango shrimp roll was also a welcomed change of flavors. Lots of options. We ended up getting one of the family meals that really satisfied our group's stomachs and wallets. Generally it is a little expensive, but it's a local establishment that also doesn't have a liquor license to bring in easy revenue. On that note, this is a BYOB restaurant, which is pretty neat, allowing you to save even more on your overall price if you plan on drinking. I wonder if they would be willing to warm your sake for you? My only food recommendation (which I communicated to the open and friendly guy at the counter, is that the spicy tuna wasn't very spicy. Maybe now it will be spicier if they've had similar complaints since the time I went--probably 5 months ago at this point. Otherwise, my only other complaint is just that it's a small place--about 8 spots at the stylish wood sushi bar, and two picnic style tables that can seat 5 if you pull up a chair, so it might be a little tough to find a spot if you're going out with a crew.“

“Can't beat their 3 roll lunch special for 13.95! They use quality fish and the ratio to rice is generous. The chefs seem more experienced than many other sushi spots in the same vicinity. I can't tell you how many times I had sushi that wasn't cut correctly and fell apart. The rice seem to be a little sticky but I rather have this than undercooked/old rice from Bleu Sushi. This is my go-to when I'm craving rolls for take-out.“
“Quick cheap tasty and my go to for rainy cold days. Takeout staples like egg foo young and general tso’s are consistently solid. I would say they also have the freshest tasting egg rolls of all the takeout spots in south Philly. The veggies on the inside actually have some texture instead of being defrosted mush. Fried rice has decent wok flavor too surprisingly. Just can’t go wrong as long as you stick to the familiar dishes.“

I love the Butterfly Love Bowl and the Spice Crazy Burrito (the sweet green sauce gets me everytime). Then it lead us to another door downstairs look mysterious way down. Love the menu here as well. There are a choice of ala carte or food testing menu by chef ( 2 options with regular or premium) We picked the premium tasting one. The drinks menu has Sake flight tasting. Our server was very nice and good knowledge of everything we ask about the menu. Services were great.
