I wish I could give half stars because if so, I would more accurately rate the overall taste of my dishes at a 3.5. I ordered a seafood paella--flavor was deep & tomato-ey, with plump rice & a decent amount of seafood for the price--and a bifana with a side salad. The bifana was underwhelming, a simple seared pork chop on bread with lettuce and a few slivers of onion & red pepper on top. The guy who runs this place is so freaking nice!!! The portions are big, the atmosphere is adorable, and the dishes seem to be authentic Portuguese. We went during the week so it wasn't super busy, and the food came out quickly! Plenty of vegetarian or meat-centric options

My husband and I were lucky to be azorean cafe’s first wedding catering experience & were so happy with our decision! Elsa and team are so kind (you’ll notice this right away when you stop in for coffee or food) and professional. We were pretty laid back, but she continued to check in and make sure everything was ready and what we wanted.
