“Staff was friendly, and quick. They were busy in there at lunchtime, and I was still in and out in less than five minutes. The food was fresh, and everything was portioned generously. This Subway was not afraid to pile the meats and veggies on. Very satisfied at this location.“

“I usually don’t leave reviews but the customer service was so good! Some homeless man tried to come and ask for my food as I was ringing out … the employees put him in check! On top of them toasting my Italian BMT perfect I had to sit down and dine-in! With everything else being closed they open early just perfect for a early lunch snack!“

“The gentleman and lady that were handling this location at 6:00 pm 12/20/2021 seemed like they were overworked and underpaid, they were both kind and got the order right. They just didn't seem happy at their jobs. Whether it's a bad day, bad shift, bad equation with the coworkers I'm not sure. But take care of your employees.“

“This is the best subway I have been to in Pittsburgh. It is the cleanest one with the nicestt staff. During the pandemic everyone wrote masks. They even insisted customers wear them. I go there a couple times a months and they always have what I want. I can't recommend this place enough“

“Unlike the subway in Cheswick this one said they were only open till 8 but I tried it anyway the door says they're open till 9 it was 8:45 I knocked the kid let me in and he made me my food and was very nice about it didn't give me no problems as far as I'm concerned you should be the only Subway open here close the one in Cheswick down they suck this one's great“

“Having traveled from Minnesota on Christmas Eve, our party arrived at 5:02, with the owners just leaving the store. They reopened the business just for our family’s orders, which was unbelievably kind. You simply don’t see that kind of service very much any more. “My Wife & I moved to the Wexford - N.A area over a month ago & We were glad to see that there was a SUBWAY Shop at the Pine Creek Plaza. “This Subway is somehow head and shoulders above any Subway I've visited. As for the negative reviews, I had a quite negative experienced pre-COVID with the service I received. I don't know if things have changed, but I have consistently and repeatedly gotten stellar service and food that is way beyond expectation. You might think all Subways are the same and I thought so too until I came here. I'm including a photo of the veggie patty sub, which is only one of the many I get when I travel around the country. Might sound ridiculous, but this place is 5-star as far as Subways go.“

“This Subway is tucked away in the Caste Village strip mall. It may be a little hard to find but there is plenty of parking.The service was prompt and pretty fast. The employee had a rather thick accent and it was a little hard to understand her, but she was polite and accommodating.We ordered a Spicy Italian and a BMT sub; both were delicious and were made with fresh looking and tasting ingredients.Overall, it was a very good experience and I am sure that we will be back.“

“Great. Stupid that Subway changed $5 foot longs to $4.99. Subway will loose millions of pennies a day because of this and you cannot write an ad campaign around a $4.99 foot long sub.. There is no "jingle" of melody in that. I don't understand.“

“In Pittsburgh staying at Marriott for the week in downtown center (Chatham). Decided to order a few of my favorite foods to keep in my hotel fridge. I used the Subway app and this location is a participant in the discounts.- Delicious footlongs- Service was ready and I had my food ready to pick up by the time I showed up- Amibance, well, its a Subway.Good customer service and clean restaurant.“

“It's Subway not the worlds greatest sandwiches but still mostly tasty. The young lady was by her self and it looked like very little had been done by the night crew - to be fair it was Light Up Night last night and they were probably busy. Regardless the server was assisting customers as quickly as she could and had a friendly demeanor.“

“My husband and I ordered a sub, wrap, pizza, and chips. A new employee accidentally charged me for an extra sandwich, which he noticed and corrected. But then he also charged me for two pizzas rather than one pizza with one topping, and I unfortunately did not notice until I looked at the receipt at home. All of the employees had good personalities and work ethics, but the new employee needed more training on using the cash register. UPDATE: The owner of this Subway emailed me to sincerely apologize for the pricing for the pizza. He said that he talked with his employees so that the mistake does not occur again and that he would refund a generous $12. I added an extra star to my review to account for the owner’s excellent customer service and leadership. I will definitely visit this Subway again.“

“The only thing that makes one Subway better than another Subway, is the staff. As we all know, there is truly nothing special about Subway, it is Subway. It's fine, it's Subway. Nobody who works at Subway can control the taste of the customer. Low quality ingredients for a decent tasting sub.... Works for me. What makes the Shiloh Street Subway better than the others, is the staff. Every staff member is so friendly, and truly cares about their customer. They are true masters of their craft. I don't like Subway, but I love Shiloh Street Subway.“

“This subway I go here a lot never any issues. Only couple times I had stale bread other than that the experience is pretty short and sweet. This rating is because of the hygiene of some employees. One being a manger, most of the time if she’s making subs and either cashing people out, or at the veggie station I notice she never washes or changes her gloves in between ringing people out. I told her nicely once she cashed someone out, I knew she wasn’t going to change her gloves and I was right. She said sure, and changed them. Mind you she should’ve washed her hands too. Working with food you have to be on top of that. Cross contamination is no joke and we’re still in a pandemic. Her being a manger should follow the health guidelines just as much as her employees. I would assume since she’s a manger she would be Servsafe certified. If she’s not she should be. She rings people out in her gloves, or just leaves 1 glove on then replaces the 1 or not at all. Just be aware if you’re in wether it’s her or someone else anytime you touch anything besides the food so to speak change your gloves!!“

“I wish all my Subway experiences were this good. Mariah and Bre were the most professional and funny employees. They had my sandwich order completed safely and efficiently. I came in shortly before they were ready to close but they were still kind and friendly as if i were the first cuatomer of the day. Give these girls a raise. Employees like these are hard to Find in a time when no one wants to work.“

“I had found myself needing a second income and decided to come back to working for Subway. I worked there through college and knew it was an easy transition.What I didn’t expect to find at this store was the great family that owns this location. They actually care for their business and their employees and that made all of the difference within my employment. The management team is also very quick to fix any issues that come about.I witnessed a very clean environment. A lot of effort is brought on by the workers to make sure the food and establishment are more than exceeding expectations of customers.I would gladly return as an employee and will absolutely be returning as a customer.“

“One of my favorite Subways in Downtown Pittsburgh. Especially when riding public transit, this place is a blessing! I can enjoy a good, satisfying lunch, while waiting for my bus. Can see the bus stop-- which is right outside the front windows-- as the bus pulls up.Thank God they made it through the pandemic madness of Covid!!!And as long as you make a purchase (which is just basic respect in my opinion) the owner doesn't mind you utilizing the bathroom. The owner is a really kind man if you get to know him.The soda out of the new soda machine was flat. Tsk tsk. Sandwich was good. But the lettuce could have looked better.“
