Started ordering from Veltre’s when I worked and lived in Swissvale since1987!! Their pizzas and Italian dogs are the best and everything you order is always fresh and hot!! When my daughter in NY comes home to visit the first thing she wants to do is order the Italian dogs!!
I visited this place by chance looking for a LOCAL restaurant on the rustic and hilly outskirts of PITTSBURGH, PA. What a delightful experience. A non-standard looking business mixed in with the traditional homes and style in that neighborhood. VERY FRIENDLY staff and everything is fresh and from scratch. Bought slices of pizza.
