“We have ordered green strip pizza and one build your own. Both were delicious. Also their garlic bread was good too.You are able to pick your own toppings from a selection you can see. You can watch them make your pizza. We had a great experience.Really nice place and friendly staff.”

“My friend and I love going out to breakfast on the weekends and trying different spots. This weekend we stopped by Cafe des Amis. We each ordered French toast with bacon.I ordered the bananas foster and his was just plain. My French toast was absolutely great. It tasted so good! However, his was a bit mushy - like as if it sat in the egg for too long. Our bacon was a little overcooked for our liking but still fine to eat. I personally like my bacon cooked medium. So it really depends on how you like it!The service was just fine. I love just going to the counter, placing an order, taking a number and having the choice of where to sit! As for the aesthetic, it's a bit plain and underwhelming. I think adding plants, pictures/wall decor, some variety of color will really make the restuarant feel welcoming! I definitely will be back sometime to try more items on the menu!?”

“Any of the kebabs here are really good! Really friendly service and very good tasty food. If you are in the area I would say this is the best Indian food hands down to go to. “Always LOVE eating here. 2nd time and it did not disappoint my husband said the brisket was like butter. I love the bay b que bbq sauce and I used it on my pulled pork and I had brisket my son had the ribs he loved it they weren't dry they were moist and he had no problem eating them. The brocolli salad was amazing ”

“Im Korean and new to Pittsburgh. This has been my best experience in a restaurant or cafe. The food and pastries were phenomenal. Even though they were extremely busy, two employees made time to ask me how my food was. It is a testament to the quality of their food and service. New favorite cafe in Pittsburgh!!! Black cod with a hint of heat and spice or a hong kong style sea bass or some delectable scallops.The shellfish tower was light on content for $80 but made up for with good flavor.Cocktails can be hit or miss and I found them to be fairly weak.Service was top notch and our hostess was very knowledgeable and friendly.”

“Wendy the waitress was amazing. She did a fantastic job and was always there to serve our needs. The pasta on the menu was amazing as was all the sides we had. The only down side was that I wanted a Bolognaise pasta and Wendy told me that it was not on the menu, but they could make up a batch for me. First off, unlike the other pasta's on the menu that were amazing, the Bolognaise dish that the chef threw together for me was mediocre at best. Not to mention, I was charged $46 for the sauce and $3 for the noodles? For a plate of pasta that was not good at all. When all of the other dishes offered much more of a delicious pasta at half the cost. Long story short, don't order off the menu and you will enjoy this very much.”

“My wife, our son Declan, and myself stopped in for lunch around 1 on a Saturday. Service was great and they were very accommodating to our 9 1/2 month old son, providing a high chair as soon as we were getting seated. The staff was very friendly and engaged us in light conversation. We got a medium pizza with italian sausage that was absolutely amazing and cheese ravioli with meat sauce, also very delicious. The restaurant has a very cozy, traditional feel that we loved. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and mad it was my first time there after living in the area for over 20 years.Kid-friendliness: Very accomodating to our son, giving us plenty of napkins, plates, and some crackers to snack on.”

“So glad we found Jo Jo's place! Great food, friendly staff, and they are very welcoming. My family of 4, which includes 2 growing boys, can eat here without breaking the bank, and we know the food will be good, and we will all leave with full bellies. We really like it as a weekend breakfast spot, but get up early to get a table because they get busy! I would recommend Jo Jo's to anyone looking for real food at affordable prices and wants a family friendly atmosphere. We love it!Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They even have a basket of prizes that they pass around for kids to choose from after they finish their food!”

“I walked in and immediately love the quiet and elegant atmosphere. I tried their scallop shrimp risotto, pork chops, tartar, pate. The pork chops were well cooked and tender. But other parts of the chop were a little dry and salty. The risotto was creamy as I expected. The tartar was lean and flavorful. I think the only dish I thought was lacking was the dessert - sponge cake. Definitely wasn’t my cup of tea.The service was amazing and the fact that you get to see the professional chefs move to make these amazing dishes- I love it.”
